Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan penyakit saat ini di dunia termasuk Indonesia telah beralih dari penyakit menular kepada penyakit tidak menular (PTM) seperti Hipertensi, Diabetes Melitus dan Stroke yang terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun baik di kota maupun di desa. Pendidikan kesehatan kepada masyarakat tentang penatalaksanaan Hipertensi dan Diabetes Melitus perlu terus dilakukan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berupa webinar edukasi kesehatan, dengan tema ‘Mengenal Hipertensi dan Diabetes Melitus serta penatalaksanaannya, dilakukan pada 10 September 2020 menggunakan platform Zoom meeting dan Youtube chanel. Edukasi menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi teknik relaksasi nafas dalam. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari Webinar series dengan tema besar “Promosi Kesehatan Holistik”. Webinar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat melalui upaya promotif, preventif dan kuratif terkait Hipertensi dan Diabetes Melitus. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 321 peserta, dengan mayoritas memiliki karakteristik; perempuan (75%), berdomisili di pulau Jawa (42%), berusia <25 tahun (63%), dan berpendidikan SMA (43%). Terkait status kesehatan diketahui sebanyak 33% peserta memiliki riwayat keluarga dengan hipertensi atau diabetes melitus, 7% peserta terdiagnosa hipertensi, 3% peserta terdiagnosa DM, 21 % peserta overweight dan obesitas, 26% peserta mengonsumsi gula dan garam harían berlebih dan 69% peserta tidak rutin memeriksakan tekanan darah dan gula darah. Hasil tes menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 2,47point dari nilai Pre-test (mean = 10,46) terhadap nilai post-test (mean=12,93). Sikap mayoritas peserta yaitu sebanyak 303 (94%) peserta menyatakan bahwa pola hidup sehat penting sebagai pencegahan hipertensi dan diabetes melitus. Edukasi kesehatan terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta dalam penatalaksanaan Hipertensi Dan Diabetes Melitus. Kata Kunci: Diabetes Melitus, Edukasi Kesehatan, Hipertensi, Penyakit Tidak Menular, Perilaku sehat  ABSTRACT The current global disease trend, including in Indonesia, has shifted from infectious diseases to non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and stroke, which continue to rise year after year in both cities and villages. Health education to the public about the management of Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus needs to be continued. Community Service Activities (PkM) in the form of health education, with the theme of health education on Hypertension and Diabetes management, were held on September 10, 2020, using the Zoom meeting platform and Youtube channel. Education through lecture methods, discussions, and demonstrations of deep breathing relaxation techniques. This activity is part of a Webinar series with the big theme “Holistic Health Promotion”. The webinar aims to increase public awareness through promotive, preventive, and curative efforts related to Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus. The activity was attended by 321 participants, with the majority having the characteristics; female (75%), domiciled in Java (42%), aged <25 years (63%), and high school education (43%). Regarding health status, it was known that 33% of participants had a family history of hypertension or diabetes mellitus, 7% of participants were diagnosed with hypertension, 3% of participants were diagnosed with DM, 21% of participants were overweight and obese, 26% of participants consumed excess daily sugar and salt and 69% of participants did not regularly check-up blood pressure and blood sugar. The test results showed an increase in knowledge of 2.47 points from the pre-test value (mean = 10.46) to the post-test value (mean = 12.93). The attitude of the majority of participants, as many as 303 (94%) participants stated that a healthy lifestyle is important as an intervention for hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Health education is proven to increase the knowledge and attitudes of participants in the management of Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus. Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Health Education, Hypertension, Non-Communicable Diseases, Healthy Behavior

Abstract

Aims: Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure above normal. The intended upgrade is if enhancement pressure systolic > 140 mmHg and diastolic > 90 mmHg in 2 measurements measured in state calm or rest with hose 5 minutes time. If the blood pressure permanent for a period of time, can cause damage to organs such as kidneys, heart, and brain. Deep breathing relaxation is a non - pharmacologic therapy, It’s capable of lighten up or lowering the blood pressure so that need to be conducted independently at home besides pharmacology therapy like taking hypertension drugs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of deep breathing techniques on changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Method: The Method of this study were pre-experimental design and one group pretest-posttest design with purposive sampling technique. Result: The results of this study shows that there is an effect of deep breathing techniques  to lower blood pressure with P value = 0.000 or < 0.05. Conclusion: The conclusion shows that there is an effect of deep breathing techniques to lower blood pressure. Nurses suggest to encourage the hypertention patients to do the deep breathing exercises on their own.

Hypertension is characterized by an increase in blood pressure that is systolic (above 140 mmHg) and diastolic (above 90 mmHg), both of which are above the normal range. This can be seen in the medical records of the most hypertension sufferers from March to May as many as 758 respondents. This incident was caused by several things, one of which was non-compliance in taking drugs in Cempaka Putih Health Center patients. This study aims to determine the description of adherence to medication in hypertensive patients. This researcher uses quantitative with descriptive design. The number of samples in this study was 88 which were obtained through convenience sampling and data collection using a questionnaire. The results of this study showed that adherence to medication in hypertensive patients was obedient as many as 67 people (76.1%). Based on gender, namely female. Based on the elderly age above 56 years as many as 38 people (43.2%). Based on the level of education, namely high school graduates as many as 46 people (52.3%). Based on religion, namely Islam as many as 76 people (86.4%). Based on marital status that is married as many as 64 people (72.7%). Based on the work that is not working as many as 49 people (55.7%). Based on the distance of health services that is 1 km as many as 78 people (88.6%). Based on the length of suffering from hypertension that is > 5 years as many as 68 people (77.3%). Based on the number of drugs consumed, namely single as many as 88 people (100%). Based on the type of drug consumed, namely amlodipine as many as 82 people (93.2%).

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM merupakan kerjasama antara Akademi Perawatan RS PGI Cikin dengan mitra Puskesmas Senen, Jakarta Pusat yang bersinergi untuk mencegah dan memperlambat progresivitas penyakit ginjal kronis melalui memelihara kesehatan ginjal, mencegah dan penatalaksanaan penyakit ginjal kronis sebagai upaya promotif, preventif dan kuratif. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah artikel pengabdian masyarakat yang akan dipublikasikan di Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat. Tujuan akhir dari dilakukannya pengabdian masayarakat ini adalah membantu masyarakat khususnya penderita penyakit Hipertensi dan DM agar kesadaran dalam menjalani perawatan dengan teratur dapat meningkat sehingga dapat memperlampat kerusakan ginjal

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Diabetes melitus, suatu kondisi di mana tubuh tidak mampu mengelola glukosa dengan baik, telah menjadi masalah kesehatan global yang serius. Kondisi ini disebabkan oleh produksi insulin yang tidak adekuat oleh pankreas. Sekitar 422 juta orang di seluruh dunia hidup dengan diabetes, sebagian besar di negara berpenghasilan rendah dan menengah. Penyakit ini berkontribusi pada 1,5 juta kematian setiap tahunnya. Peningkatan prevalensi diabetes ini dikaitkan dengan pertumbuhan populasi dan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi korelasi antara dukungan keluarga dan kepatuhan diet pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional digunakan dalam studi ini. Data dikumpulkan dari 89 pasien yang dipilih secara acak dari populasi sebanyak 811 pasien diabetes mellitus. Penelitian ini dilakukan tanggal 23 Juni sampai 12 Juli 2023. Instrumen yang digunakan family support scale dan penilaian kepatuhan diet. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dan kepatuhan diet pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 (p < 0,011). Kesimpulan: Dukungan keluarga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan diet pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2.
