Abstract

This study is abaut the Mu’adalah Boarding School Policy and the Implementation of curriculum at the Islamic Senior High School (Madrasah Aliyah) Salafi Tremas Pacitan. The educational institution of the Islamic boarding school is an inseparable part of the nationally educational system. This changes the minset and point of view of the previous Islamic boarding school that was considered as a non-formal institution that did-not get good appreciation of its graduates. The research findings show that the mua’adah Islamic boarding shcool has been established as an institution that is equivalent to other formal educational institutions by the ministry of religious. The status of Salafiyah Islamic senior high school is stronger. Furthemore, it must be improved directly its educational quality, teacher competences, and the curriculum implementation of theIslamic Senior High School of Salafiyah Tremas Pacitan.

Abstract

This research is based on the condition of education financing management at Insan Cermat Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT), which is the main support for the sustainability of educational activities at the school. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of school-owned financial resources, the level of responsibility and transparency in financial management, minimize errors in fund management, and understand the contribution of school finance to improving the quality of learning in the classroom. The approach used is a qualitative method with a single case study type that focuses on the management of education financing at SDIT Insan Cermat. Data were collected through documentation and interviews. The results showed that SDIT Insan Cermat does not experience financial difficulties in obtaining education funds, and their use is directed for educational purposes. The principal works optimally with the treasurer, so that a number of school programs can run well. The accountability system implemented reflects the school's responsibility, while transparency is realized by displaying the report on the use of funds on the notice board so that it can be accessed by all parties. The utilization of school finances is also proven to support the improvement of the quality of learning in the classroom, marked by the fulfillment of various important facilities and infrastructure. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the management of education financing at SDIT Insan Cermat has been implemented according to good procedures.

Abstract

Effective financial management can support the quality of education. Well-managed finances are those that implement transparency and accountability. This is crucial because financing is a crucial factor and influences educational activities. This research is a field study using descriptive qualitative methods to explain the transparency and accountability model at MI Manba'ul Huda in Bandung City. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the transparency and accountability model has been implemented at the madrasah, but challenges remain in managing educational costs.

Abstract

Educational financing management is a strategic factor in ensuring the sustainability of Islamic educational institutions, particularly private madrasas integrated with the Islamic boarding school system and facing limited funding sources. Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Muqimien Tangerang, as a boarding school-based madrasah, faces complex financing challenges to sustainably support formal education and Islamic boarding school programs. This study aims to analyze the educational financing management strategies implemented and their contribution to the institution's sustainability. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, with research subjects including the madrasah principal, treasurer, teachers, and foundation managers. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and its validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the financing management strategy at Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Muqimien is implemented in a planned manner through the preparation of the Work Plan and Budget (RKAM), the utilization of various funding sources, the application of efficiency principles and priority scales, and transparent monitoring and evaluation. This strategy contributes positively to the continuity of educational programs, institutional stability, and increased public trust. Thus, effective, accountable and Islamic-value-based financing management is an important key in supporting the sustainability of Islamic boarding school-based madrasas. Keywords: Educational Financing Management, Madrasah Sustainability, Islamic Boarding Schools, Madrasah Aliyah, Islamic Education   Abstrak Manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan merupakan faktor strategis dalam menjamin keberlanjutan lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya madrasah swasta yang terintegrasi dengan sistem pesantren dan memiliki keterbatasan sumber dana. Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Muqimien Tangerang sebagai madrasah berbasis boarding school menghadapi tantangan pembiayaan yang kompleks untuk menopang program pendidikan formal dan kepesantrenan secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan yang diterapkan serta kontribusinya terhadap keberlanjutan lembaga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian meliputi kepala madrasah, bendahara, guru, dan pengelola yayasan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi manajemen pembiayaan di Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Muqimien dilaksanakan secara terencana melalui penyusunan RKAM, pemanfaatan berbagai sumber dana, penerapan prinsip efisiensi dan skala prioritas, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi yang transparan. Strategi tersebut berkontribusi positif terhadap kontinuitas program pendidikan, stabilitas kelembagaan, dan peningkatan kepercayaan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, manajemen pembiayaan yang efektif, akuntabel, dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam menjadi kunci penting dalam menunjang keberlanjutan madrasah berbasis pesantren Kata kunci: Manajemen Pembiayaan Pendidikan, Keberlanjutan Madrasah, Pesantren, Madrasah Aliyah, Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This study aims to explore the efficiency of education budget management at SD IT Al-Fitrah and identify challenges and solutions that can be applied in the context of modern education. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis related to school budget management. The data obtained were analyzed thematically to identify relevant patterns. The results show that although SD IT Al-Fitrah has tried to manage its budget well, there are some significant challenges faced, including wasteful use of funds and lack of allocation for facility development. Around 15% of the total budget is left over each year. In addition, the utilization of information technology in budget management is still limited, which hampers operational efficiency. This study recommends the implementation of a more transparent budget planning and evaluation system, increased utilization of information technology, and better collaboration with parents and communities to support education budget efficiency.

Abstract

One persistent challenge in Indonesian education is the insufficient internalization of character values among students, which can affect the overall quality of graduates. This study aims to explore the management of character education in enhancing graduate quality at Al-Ittihad Senior High School Cianjur and Ciranjang 1 Public Senior High School. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a multi-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of character education practices in both institutions. The findings indicate that both schools emphasize the development of strong academic character and religious or moral awareness, although through different approaches. Al-Ittihad Senior High School integrates the national curriculum with Islamic boarding school values through boarding programs, structured worship routines, and daily religious habits. In contrast, Ciranjang 1 Public Senior High School implements character education based on its BIJAK’S vision, which is embedded in intracurricular and extracurricular activities as well as positive daily habits. Organizationally, Al-Ittihad involves close collaboration between the principal, teachers, and boarding school supervisors, while Ciranjang 1 relies more on a formal public school structure, with the vice principal for student affairs and supervising teachers playing key roles. Implementation at Al-Ittihad is centered on boarding school life, whereas Ciranjang 1 focuses on the BIJAK’S program emphasizing discipline, achievement, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Supervision and evaluation at Al-Ittihad are conducted intensively by teachers, dormitory supervisors, and parents, while Ciranjang 1 applies regular teacher meetings, program evaluations, and parental involvement to monitor character development.

Abstract

Abstract This study examines the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) policy in schools as a strategy to strengthen food security, improve education, and realize social justice. The study is motivated by high levels of nutritional vulnerability among school-age children, which affect learning concentration, attendance, and academic achievement. This research employs a library research and qualitative-critical analysis approach, reviewing relevant scientific journals from the last five years on MBG, food policy, education, and social development. Results indicate that MBG significantly enhances children’s access to nutritious food, promotes educational participation, and reduces social inequality through equitable and inclusive benefit distribution. Additionally, MBG supports local economic empowerment by involving local food producers and contributes to sustainable development by integrating social, economic, and environmental aspects. In conclusion, MBG is a multidimensional public policy effectively addressing nutritional, educational, and social inequality issues while supporting sustainable national development goals. Keywords: Free Nutritious Meal, Food Security, Education, Social Justice, Sustainable Development   Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas implementasi kebijakan Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) di sekolah sebagai strategi untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan, meningkatkan pendidikan, dan mewujudkan keadilan sosial. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tingginya angka kerawanan gizi pada anak usia sekolah yang berdampak pada konsentrasi belajar, kehadiran, dan prestasi akademik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis kualitatif-kritis, dengan telaah literatur jurnal ilmiah lima tahun terakhir yang relevan mengenai MBG, kebijakan pangan, pendidikan, dan pembangunan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MBG secara signifikan meningkatkan akses anak-anak terhadap makanan bergizi, mendorong partisipasi pendidikan, serta mengurangi ketimpangan sosial melalui distribusi manfaat yang merata dan inklusif. Selain itu, MBG mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal melalui keterlibatan produsen pangan setempat dan berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui integrasi aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Kesimpulannya, MBG merupakan kebijakan publik multidimensi yang efektif mengatasi isu gizi, pendidikan, dan ketimpangan sosial sekaligus mendukung tujuan pembangunan nasional yang berkelanjutan.
