Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of applying Quantum Teaching methods based on neuropedagogy in enhancing student learning outcomes. Quantum Teaching is a pedagogical approach that integrated social, emotional, and cognitive elements within the learning process, while neuropedagogy focuses on understanding how the brain learned optimally. By integrating these two approaches, this study explored how a holistically designed learning environment facilitated the enhancement of students’ understanding and knowledge. The study conducted a mixed-method approach, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative methods to measure the impact of Quantum Teaching methods based on neuropedagogy on students’ academic performance. The findings indicated that students engaged in Quantum Teaching-based learning with a neuropedagogical approach experienced significant improvements in their learning outcomes compared to those following conventional teaching methods. Additionally, this study found that this approach positively affected students’ motivation, engagement, and the development of critical thinking skills. These findings contributed significantly to the field of education, particularly in the context of implementing innovative methods to enhance the quality of learning in the 21st century. The practical implications of this study included recommendations for developing more effective curricula and teaching strategies that educators could apply to achieve better and more holistic learning outcomes.

Abstract

The book Ta’lim al-Muta’allim by Az-Zarnuji remains a foundational text in the realm of Islamic education. This classical work offers a comprehensive discussion of ethical, spiritual, and methodological aspects of the learning process in Islam. The present study is motivated by the need for Islamic pedagogical models that go beyond cognitive development and also emphasize character formation and proper student conduct. The objective of this research is to explore the educational methods presented in Ta’lim al-Muta’allim and analyze their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were gathered through an in-depth textual analysis of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim and supported by classical and modern Islamic educational literature. The data were analyzed thematically to identify the core values, learning strategies, and pedagogical principles emphasized by Az-Zarnuji. The findings reveal that Ta’lim al-Muta’allim promotes learning methods that begin with sincere intention, the careful selection of teachers and companions, and the cultivation of proper etiquette toward knowledge, teachers, and peers. Its learning strategies—such as i’adah (repetition), tikrar (intensive review), taammul (deep reflection), and munazharah (discussion)—show strong alignment with modern pedagogical approaches. Moreover, personal virtues such as patience, humility (tawadhu’), piety (wara’), and trust in God (tawakkul) are deemed essential for student development. This study concludes that Az-Zarnuji’s educational philosophy remains highly relevant for character-based and spiritual education in modern Islamic learning environments.

Abstract

Instructional leadership plays a crucial role in the management of educational institutions with the primary goal of enhancing the standards and effectiveness of teaching methods and student academic achievement. This study is designed to explore how principals implement instructional leadership strategies and their impact on the success of the learning process within the school environment. The study suggests that for effective learning to be achieved, it is important for principals to adopt and consistently implement instructional leadership practices. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using private methods in improving students' reading skills at Madrasah Diniyah TPA/TPQ "HIDAYATUSH SHIBYAN". This research uses a systematic and scientific quantitative approach to explore the relationship between the use of private methods and the ability to read iqra'. This research method is included in the exploratory category, with a survey approach carried out in the field. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that reading mastery is the main focus in the learning process at Madrasah Diniyah TPA/TPQ "HIDAYATUSH SHIBYAN". Even though there is only one teacher teaching in each class, all students receive equal attention and the material is taught with variety to keep students interested. The application of private methods allows more intense interaction between teachers and students, facilitating better understanding of learning material. However, the success of this method depends on the balance between the number of teachers and students and the availability of sufficient time. This research concludes that learning methods that focus on individual interactions between teachers and students, such as private methods, are effective in improving students' reading abilities and comprehension at Madrasah Diniyah TPA/TPQ "HIDAYATUSH SHIBYAN". The research results provide valuable insights for educational practitioners in improving the quality of learning in non-formal educational institutions and confirm the importance of focusing on reading mastery in the educational process.

Abstract

Abstract The Ngreco branch of the IPNU-IPPNU organization plays a crucial role in shaping individual character through a series of activities held by its management, including khataman, carnival and management meetings. Active support from the surrounding community, both in the form of direct participation and provision of facilities, is an important factor in the success of organizational activities. Continuous interaction between organizational members and the community is a strategy to maintain this support. When facing obstacles, the management and members of the organization carry out deliberations and evaluations to improve the implementation of activities in the future. Organization members, as resource persons, demonstrated the positive impact of their participation in organizational activities, including increasing self-confidence and building good character. Despite admitting a lack of experience in carrying out leadership roles, members still try to overcome obstacles, showing the development of the character of independence and cohesion within the organization. Collaboration with other organizations is also part of the strategy to strengthen friendship and collaboration in organizational activities. Overall, the roles and interactions within the Ngreco branch of the IPNU-IPPNU organization strengthen the formation of quality youth character. Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Ummi Method in improving Qur’an reading skills among mothers attending classes at Rumah Tahfidz Haromain. The research background highlights the challenges faced by adult learners, particularly low fluency, inaccurate articulation of makhraj, and inconsistent application of tajwid. The Ummi Method was selected due to its structured approach, emphasis on tartil habituation, and integration of both classical and individualized strategies. Employing a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design, the study involved 20 purposively selected participants. Data collection instruments included pre- and post-intervention reading tests, alongside observation sheets assessing participation and motivation. Data analysis utilized paired sample t-tests and descriptive statistics. Findings indicate a significant improvement, with posttest scores showing a 25% increase compared to pretest results. Enhancements were observed across fluency, makhraj accuracy, and consistent tajwid application. Qualitative data further revealed heightened motivation, active participation, and increased self-confidence among participants. These outcomes were supported by talaqqi, repetitive practice (tikrar), and personalized correction. The results demonstrate that the Ummi Method is effective not only for children but also adaptable for adult learners in nonformal institutions. The study recommends sustained implementation supported by relevant media and certified instructors to optimize long-term outcomes

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technologies has significantly influenced the way students engage with information, particularly with the widespread use of short video applications such as TikTok and Instagram Reels. These platforms, while offering entertainment and easily digestible content, also contribute to the phenomenon of "zero attention span," wherein students' ability to concentrate on lengthy, complex educational tasks diminishes. This literature review explores the pedagogical strategies that can be employed to address the challenges posed by this phenomenon in the context of modern education. By examining the intersection of digital media consumption and learning behaviors, the study identifies the potential benefits and drawbacks of integrating platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels into educational practices. The research highlights the importance of utilizing interactive and visually appealing elements within educational content to maintain student engagement and foster deeper learning. Moreover, the review stresses the need for educators to develop curricula that are both adaptive to the digital-native learning style and capable of enhancing cognitive focus and critical thinking. Strategies such as gamification, multimedia use, and interactive videos are proposed as effective tools to capture students' attention while ensuring academic rigor. The findings underscore the necessity of balancing entertainment with educational depth in the digital learning environment. Ultimately, this study provides valuable insights for educators seeking to navigate the complexities of modern attention spans and utilize technology in a manner that enhances, rather than detracts from, educational outcomes.

Abstract

The era of disruption, characterized by rapid technological development and shifts in socio-cultural patterns, requires Islamic educational institutions to reassess and adjust their management strategies to maintain relevance. This library research adopts a qualitative approach to analyze how Islamic education management can effectively respond to disruptive changes, with a particular focus on Kediri, a region known for its strong pesantren and madrasah traditions. The findings indicate persistent challenges, including limited digital integration, organizational resistance to change, and weak strategic leadership. Nevertheless, emerging initiatives such as digital-based learning, participatory governance, and value-driven innovation demonstrate promising adaptive potential. This study proposes a strategic repositioning framework rooted in Islamic principles such as amanah (trust), musyawarah (deliberation), and ihsan (excellence), integrated with contemporary management concepts. The model emphasizes three key dimensions: strengthening fundamental Islamic values, implementing adaptive technology-based management, and building external collaboration with educational, industrial, and digital communities. The integrative-adaptive approach positions Islamic educational institutions not only as preservers of tradition but also as dynamic agents of innovation. These findings contribute theoretically to the discourse on Islamic education management and provide practical insights for institutional leaders in pursuing sustainable transformation amidst global educational disruption

Abstract

Waqf is a key tool for socioeconomic development, notably in education. Waqf substantially improves educational quality and is crucial to SDG No. 4. Waqf, including scholarships, endowment funds, educational properties, and academic support, has been established in several countries to improve education. Waqf administration and allocation vary by country due to government policies, social structures, and regional conditions. This study compares waqf implementation in education across nations using a systematic literature review (SLR). This study examines 28 relevant literary sources from 2010 to 2025 using Confidence. This research aims to evaluate waqf implementation in education and find ways to improve its effectiveness in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, notably in education quality. This comparative study explores optimal waqf management in education and makes policies to improve waqf's role in inclusive and sustainable education. The findings show that waqf collection and distribution can promote education from elementary to higher education.
