Abstract

PT. MOD Indo Pringapus is one of the garment industry players located in Pringapus District, their business activity is the manufacture of apparel with a market share of 100% exports to America. PT. MOD Indo is located on Jalan Raya Pringapus Candirejo in the Bumi Wahyu Warehousing Complex, Kali Kuning neighborhood, Pringapus Village, Pringapus District, Semarang Regency. PT. MOD Indo has an area of 21,117 m2, a total building area of 15,296 m2, and a total area of 5,821, m2 of open land. With number of employees reaching 1250 employees, the need for parking spaces for employees, raw material vehicles, and production transportation vehicles needs to be provided with a suitable place & adequate. The current condition based on the author's observations, there are still many parking arrangements that are not in place due to the very limited condition of the land and parking buildings. Seeing these conditions, it is necessary to plan for the provision of parking facilities. From the results of the survey on the availability of parking at the location, the parking capacity that is owned can accommodate 25 car parking lots and 800 motorbike parking lots. The parking area used is approximately 1500 m2. The parking requirements that need to be provided are 50 SRP for Cars, 192 SRP for Motorcycles and 10 SRP for Trucks, while the required land area includes circulation of 1,674.4 m2. Based on the results of the analysis above and the description of the next few years where the rate of vehicle development is estimated at around 10% per year, the authors can conclude that the performance of parking spaces for current conditions does not meet the needs of existing users so that there needs to be improvements in parking space arrangements including the addition of new parking spaces.

Abstract

Semarang–Demak Toll Road Construction with length ± 27 km, built for reduce traffic jam in Semarang. Due to road construction must pass area with very soft soil conditions/swamp land. Where type soil this is known have power support very low. For resolve problem the so structure Street use structure Slab on Pile. Structure Slab on Pile consist from slab, pile head and Pile Foundation               In analyzing the carrying capacity of piles analytically in this study, we used several methods such as the Meyerhof method, the Luciano Decourt method and the Schmertman method. Meanwhile, in our calendaring test, we used the Hilley method. On the Semarang–Demak Toll Road Development Project searching for comparison score power support ultimate Pile Foundation single by analytical with Calendaring data and PDA. Based on results calculation of value SPT data power support ultimate pile single on 44 m depth with method Mayerhof obtained 149.72 tons, for Luciano Decourt's method 210.0451 tons, Schmertman method 185,888 tons based on calculation Calendaring method Hilley 145,0251 tons and PDA obtained 148.73 tons.

Abstract

This study evaluates the comparison of compressive strength between conventional concrete and concrete mix with used tire aggregate, focusing on its influence on compressive strength and concrete weight. The testing used cylindrical specimens with variations of used tire addition at 3%, 6%, 9%, and 12% of the coarse aggregate volume. The targeted concrete design strength is fc' 20 MPa at 28 days. Experimental methods were employed to compare their mechanical properties, measuring compressive strength and concrete weight across different mix compositions. The results for normal concrete yielded an average of 30.96 MPa, while for 3% tire mix yielded an average of 30.12 MPa, 6% tire mix yielded an average of 25.51 MPa, 9% tire mix yielded an average of 22.51 MPa, and 12% tire mix yielded an average of 21.54 MPa. The reduction in concrete weight for 3% tire mix was 0.035 kg from normal concrete, for 6% tire mix was 0.04 kg from normal concrete, for 9% tire mix was 0.23 kg from normal concrete, and for 12% tire mix was 0.35 kg from normal concrete. The study findings indicate that concrete mix with used tire aggregate exhibits competitive compressive strength with conventional concrete, while showing a tendency towards lower weight. The implication is that concrete mix with used tire aggregate has the potential to be a lighter and mechanically strong alternative. This study provides important insights for the construction industry in seeking more sustainable and cost-efficient solutions, while reducing the environmental impact of used tire waste.
