Abstract

Islamic banks as one of the MSME stakeholders, must participate in helping and resurrecting MSMEs so that they can grow and develop like their normal conditions. This research uses a descriptive approach by using secondary data from Islamic banking statistics during the COVID-19 period (March 2020 to February 2022). Data analysis used reduction, display, and descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the role of Islamic banks during the COVID-19 pandemic was manifested in three ways, namely 1) as a distributor of assistance from the government, 2) providing financing restructuring, and 3) encouraging increased financing for MSMEs. The development of Islamic bank financing during the COVID-19 pandemic was relatively stable and even had an average increase compared to the pre-covid-19 period. The increase in working capital financing was by 21%, while the average investment financing increased by 31.72%. The NPF ratio of Islamic banks during the COVID-19 pandemic on a monthly average was above the maximum standard set by Bank Indonesia for this type of working capital financing, which was 5.05%. On the other hand, the NPF ratio of working capital financing above 5% also occurred 15 times in 24 months of observation. Meanwhile, the NPF ratio for investment financing during the COVID-19 period was, on average, below Bank Indonesia's standard of 4.05%. However, in certain months it shows that the NPF ratio for investment financing is still above 5%. This must be a concern because Islamic banks are considered not to apply the principle of prudence in providing financing. Keywords: Covid-19, Islamic Banks, Productive Financing, Capital, SMEs

Abstract

Pemanfaatan kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang keuangan semakin berkembang pesat. Inovasi teknologi mendatangkan proses transaksi keuangan yang lebih praktis, salah satunya diaplikasikan pada pinjaman online. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilatarbelakangi maraknya pinjaman online yang ditawarkan kepada masyarakat tetapi tidak diimbangi dengan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap pinjaman online itu sendiri. Sehinngga menyebabkan beberapa diantara anggota Ibu-Ibu PKK terjebak pada permasalahan pinjaman online. Tujuan kegiatan PkM adalah memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat seputar keuangan digital yang terfokus pada materi pinjaman online. Pelaksanaan pada kegiatan PkM dilakukan secara langsung pada hari Sabtu, 13 Agustus 2022 bertempat di kediaman Ibu Ketua PKK di Desa Jebol Kecamatan Mayong Kabupaten Jepara. Hasil kegiatan PkM ini menjelaskan bawa pemahaman literasi seputar keuangan digital khususnya pada pinjaman online sangat bermanfaat untuk kelompok Ibu-Ibu PKK, hal terlihat dari hasil survei tingkat kepuasan peserta sebesar 83% menyatakan sangat puas atas terselenggaranya kegiatan PkM ini. The use of technological advances in the financial sector is overgrowing. Technological innovations bring about a more practical financial transaction process, one of which is applied to online loans. The implementation of community service activities (PkM) is motivated by the rise of online loans being offered to the public but not balanced with the public's knowledge of online loans. So that caused some of the PKK members to get stuck in online loan problems. The purpose of community service activities (PkM) is to educate the public about digital finance, which focuses on online material loans. The implementation of PkM activities is carried out through 3 stages: introduction, implementation and evaluation. The results of this PKM activity explain that understanding digital finance literacy benefits groups of PKK mothers, especially online loans. This can be seen from the survey results; satisfaction level of participants of 83% stated that they were very satisfied with implementing this PkM activity.

Abstract

Investasi merupakan suatu kegiatan penempatan sebagian kekayaan seseorang untuk mendapatlan keuntungan di masa yang akan datang. Salah satu instrumen investasi yang banyak diminati masyarakat adalah investasi emas karena cenderung aman dan menguntungkan. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) meluncurkan produk untuk menghadapai hal tersebut yaitu Produk Cicil Emas. Produk Cicil Emas merupakan salah satu investasi jangka panjang yang ditawarkan oleh Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) dan ditujukan kepada nasabah yang membutuhkan investasi jangka panjang tersebut. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peluang investasi emas melalui Produk Cicil Emas pada Bank Syariah Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yang bersifat deskriptif analisis dalam menganalisa data sekunder yang berkaitan dengan masalah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa peluang investasi emas melalui produk ini adalah terdapat pada sisi kebutuhan nasabah, keuntungan yang didapatkan dari hasil investasi emas, kemudahan yang dilakukan dalam jual beli logam mulia emas pada BSI, peluang kenaikan harga emas yang terus mengalami kenaikan  setiap tahunnya serta peluang persaingan pada produk tersebut masih rendah.

Abstract

Ibu rumah tangga memiliki potensi lebih untuk meningkatkan perekonomian rumah tangga. Ibu rumah tangga dapat melakukan aktivitas bisnis dari rumah disamping masih tetap menjalankan aktivitas kerumahtanggaan. Kecanggihan teknologi sangat membantu untuk memanfaatkan potensi tersebut. Aplikasi social media tidak hanya terbatas pada fungsi interaksi sosial semata. Media sosial juga dapat digunakan untuk aktivitas bisnis sehingga familiar disebut dengan social commerce. Secara metodologis ilmiah, kegiatan dilakukan dengan pendekatan service learning. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui webinar. Tahapan kegiatan secara garis besar dibagi menjadi tiga yaitu pra kegiatan, kegiatan utama dan evaluasi. Pra kegiatan terdiri dari pembuatan materi, penentuan jadwal, dan publikasi peserta. Sementara kegiatan utama meliputi pembukaan, pemaparan materi, diskusi dan praktik pemanfaatan social commerce. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengukur (mengoreksi) tingkat keberhasilan peserta dalam membuat contoh pemanfaatan social commerce. Substansi materi secara garis besar memaparkan strategi memanfaatkan media sosial untuk kegiatan bisnis (komersil). Ada tiga strategi yang dapat dilaksanakan yaitu pengenalan terhadap target audiens, pembuatan konten yang menarik, keaktifan interaksi dengan audiens. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 100% peserta dapat mempraktikkan dalam membuat contoh memanfaatkan social commerce melalui akun social media masing-masing. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan kontribusi pelatihan (pengabdian) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta dalam mengoptimalkan social commerce dalam bianis yang telah atau akan dijalani.

Abstract

In recent years, several prominent figures in Islamic Economics have called for a reform of the financial system from the concept of fiat money to return to the gold standard system (dinar dirham). The main reason for financial system reform is the perspective that fiat money is considered not resistant to inflation. However, the gold standard system is considered to have various weaknesses namely; physical size is relatively heavy, is not proven to be anti-inflation based on historical records, high production costs, inefficient utilization of production resources, only benefits certain groups, and is vulnerable to payment deficits. In theory, the problem of inflation is caused by the imbalance between supply and demand for money itself. If the money supply is greater than the demand, it will cause inflation. Conversely, if the money supply is less than the demand, then the economic activity will not be smooth. Therefore, this article believes that inflation is not due to the physical form of money (paper or gold ), but is caused by effective money supply and demand management. Therefore, government policies are needed including (a) deregulation of the banking system by nationalizing all banks, (b) playing an active role in intervening in the surge in prices of goods and services (c) promoting Ziswaf institutions.

Abstract

Purpose - This research aims to identify the application of sustainable finance in sharia banks and conventional banks and identify obstacles in the application of sustainable finance.Method - The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive design. The type of descriptive design method used is a comparative study.Result - The research results show that the implementation of sustainable finance as represented by the allocation of financing at conventional banks (BRI) reached 65.5%, higher than sharia banks (BSI) which only reached 26.95%. the establishment of rules and regulations that are not yet comprehensive in the financial sector, low financial inclusion, low sustainable finance literacy, lack of common perception in financial institutions, the difficulty of balancing economic, social and environmental aspects and low market potential in lending to environmentally sound companies.    Implication - This research was conducted to provide an explanation of the implementation of sustainable distribution of funds in Sharia banks and conventional banks and its challenges.  Originality - Several previous studies have discussed sustainable finance in banking. However, there are still few discussing the comparison of the implementation of sustainable finance and the risks involved.

Abstract

Rumah tangga muslim milenial memiliki berbagai persoalan rumah tangga diantaranya adalah masalah keuangan. Persoalan ini dikarenakan pemikiran pasangan rumah tangga muda belum pada tingkat yang matang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masayarakat menggunakan metode service learning. Kegitan dibagi dalam tiga tahapan yaitu persipan, layanan dan refleksi. Tahapan persiapan diurai dalam empat aktivitas yaitu penetapan jadwal, pembuatan materi, publikasi peserta, dan pembuatan rundown penyuluhan. Tahapan layanan memaparkan dua materi besar yaitu penyebab kesehatan fakror-faktor yang mengganggu persoaalan kesehatan keuangan rumah tangga serta indikator kesehatan keuangan rumah tangga. Ada lima hal yang menyebabkan kesehatan keuangan rumah tangga bermasalah yaitu 1) perbedaan gaya hidup (perilaku konsumsi); 2) ketimpangan penghasilan; 3) kepemilikan pinjaman tersembunyi, 4) tidak memiliki perencanaan keuangan, 5) kepemilikan tabungan rahasia. Sementara, terdapat lima indikator kesehatan keuangan rumah tangga yaitu a) kelancaran arus kas periode tertentu, b) besaran kepamilikan tabungan rumah tangga, c) batasan angsuran pinjaman yang diperbolehkan, d) kepemilikan asuransi kesehatan, serta e) kepemilikan investasi. Tahapan refleksi menyampaikan tingkat pemahan peserta atas materi yang sudah disampaikan, 70% peserta merasa sangat paham, 23% peserta merasa paham sedangkan 7% peserta merasa kurang paham.

Abstract

Covid 19 has had an impact on various changes, especially with the revolution towards a digital base, one of which is the banking system. This study aims to analyze the role of the digital banking industry in consumer behavior during Covid 19. The general objective of this research is to assist the government in determining appropriate policies regarding the digital banking industry. Referring to the formulation of the problem, this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Descriptive method is a method that describes an objective event or certain events based on visible or proper facts which are then accompanied by efforts to make general conclusions based on these historical facts. The Covid 19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the Indonesian economy due to a policy implemented by the government which prohibits people from gathering in large numbers. This policy makes people get used to utilizing various financial technologies to carry out their lives. Therefore, banks must accelerate the use of digital banking services. The implementation of digital banking can accelerate public acceptance of digital transformation. The banking industry needs to take advantage of the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic to accelerate digital investment and further increase efficiency. Basically, banking has been carrying out digital innovations for a long time, including in the development of mobile banking and a number of other applications and platforms. This research will provide policy benefits in strengthening government institutions, especially the banking industry to control the implementation of digital banking in Indonesia so that it has a positive impact on consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education in shaping children's character in the digital era. The research involves a literature review to examine relevant studies and articles, and identify Implications for the educational world. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education plays a crucial role in character development for children  in the digital age. In addition to teaching religious values, Islamic Religious Education also includes ethical and moral learning essential for children. The study reveals that Islamic Religious Education is effective in imparting moral values, developing digital ethics, and fostering spiritual awareness in technology use. The implications of this research include aspects of ethics and morals in technology use, the development of digital ethics, and the importance of parental involvement in shaping children's character in the digital era. This research is important for parents and teachers to understand in order to develop effective strategies for nurturing responsible, ethical, and integrity-driven character in children's digital lives. In this interconnected era, integrating Islamic moral and ethical values in education is cructal to ensure that children use technology wisely and responsibly.
