Abstract

Student work readiness in facing the world of digital entrepreneurship is still an obstacle that requires a more effective learning approach. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of project-based learning model on students' work readiness in digital era entrepreneurship. By using pre-test and post-test design, 40 students were prepared to be tested at the beginning and at the end who were taught using a project-based learning model. Students participated in the learning process for one semester with real-world projects relevant to the digital fashion industry. The t-test results indicate a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (t-calculated = 38.561 > t-table = 1.990; sig. < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in digital work readiness. This improvement includes technical skills, creativity, digital literacy, collaboration, and business management skills based on technology. Additionally, project-based learning was proven to enhance students' motivation and engagement in the learning process. These findings reinforce the effectiveness of PjBL as an approach responsive to the demands of Industry 4.0. This study concludes that the project-based learning model is effective in preparing competent graduates in digital entrepreneurship and can be adopted as an adaptive and applicable vocational learning strategy in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

The industry produces synthetic dye waste that has the potential to damage the environment, so that more environmentally friendly natural dye alternatives are needed. One of the plants that has the potential to be used as a source of natural dyes is the sicerek leaf (Clausena excavata Burm. F), because sicerek leaves contain flavonoid compounds that can produce color. This study aims to analyze the color names and color fastness to washing on Roberto Cavali's fabrics whose writings use sicerek leaf extract at various dyeing temperatures. The method used is the experimental method. Identification of color names was carried out by involving 18 panelists as respondents and supported by the use of the Colorblind Assistant application to assist in color determination. Meanwhile, color fastness to washing was tested using a gray scale and a staining scale according to SNI ISO standards. Data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression tests. The results of the study show (1) Differences in dyeing temperatures produce different color names, RGB values ??and hexadecimal codes at various dyeing temperatures. (2) The dyeing temperature does not have a significant effect on color fastness based on gray scale testing as proven by a simple linear regression test with a Sig. value. 0.351 > 0.05 which indicates that there is no difference or is not significant. Meanwhile, testing using a coloring scale at temperatures of 30?C, 60?C and 90?C shows a value of 4-5 with a good category for various types of multifiber including wool, acrylic, polyester, nylon, cotton and acetate. (3) The dyeing temperature of 90?C is the most optimal temperature in producing color and color fastness.

Abstract

  ABSTRACT The practical learning of trouser sewing in the Fashion Expertise subject for Grade XI students of the Fashion Design and Production Department at SMKN 4 Pariaman is still predominantly conducted through teacher demonstrations, making it difficult for students to independently review sewing procedures, particularly techniques requiring high precision. This condition highlights the need for learning media that support flexible and independent learning. This study aimed to develop a video tutorial on trouser sewing techniques and to determine its validity and practicality. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, implemented up to the implementation stage. The research participants consisted of five validators (two media experts and three subject-matter experts), nine Grade XI Fashion Design and Production students, and one subject teacher. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using percentage analysis. The results showed that the developed video tutorial achieved an overall validity score of 88.46%, categorized as highly valid, based on media expert validation of 85.81% and material expert validation of 91.11%. Practicality testing yielded scores of 96.36% from the teacher, 92.73% from the small-group trial, and 90.30% from the field trial, all classified as highly practical. Therefore, the developed video tutorial is considered valid and practical for supporting practical trouser sewing instruction in vocational high school Fashion Expertise programs. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran praktik menjahit pantalon pada mata pelajaran Kompetensi Keahlian Busana di kelas XI Jurusan Desain dan Produksi Busana SMKN 4 Pariaman masih didominasi metode demonstrasi guru sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan mempelajari kembali tahapan menjahit secara mandiri, terutama pada teknik yang memerlukan ketelitian tinggi. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya media pembelajaran yang mampu mendukung proses belajar secara fleksibel dan mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media video tutorial teknik menjahit pantalon serta mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas dan praktikalitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dilaksanakan hingga tahap implementation. Subjek penelitian meliputi lima validator yang terdiri atas dua ahli media dan tiga ahli materi, sembilan siswa kelas XI Desain dan Produksi Busana, serta satu guru mata pelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket menggunakan skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video tutorial memperoleh tingkat validitas sebesar 88,46% dengan kategori sangat layak, berdasarkan penilaian ahli media sebesar 85,81% dan ahli materi sebesar 91,11%. Hasil uji praktikalitas menunjukkan penilaian guru sebesar 96,36%, kelompok kecil sebesar 92,73%, dan uji lapangan sebesar 90,30%, yang seluruhnya berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, media video tutorial teknik menjahit pantalon dinyatakan valid dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mendukung pembelajaran praktik menjahit di kelas XI Kompetensi Keahlian Busana SMK.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the development process, (2) determine the validity, and (3) determine the practicality of a makrame-bag-making tutorial video for the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship subject among eleventh-grade Fashion Design and Production students at SMK Negeri 1 Bungo. The problem addressed is that the video tutorials teachers currently use are general, not designed according to the curriculum and lesson plan, and do not present the knot-tying steps in a detailed and systematic manner, so students still struggle to follow the practice independently. This research and development (R&D) study adapted the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) by Thiagarajan, limited to the Define, Design, and Develop stages. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and validation and practicality questionnaires administered to media, material, and language experts, one subject teacher, and students in small- and large-group trials. The results show that the developed video tutorial obtained an average validity score of 95% (Very Valid), consisting of 97% from the media expert, 91% from the material expert, and 97% from the language expert. The practicality test results reached 98% from the teacher, 89% from the small-group trial, and 91% from the large-group trial, all in the Very Practical category. These findings indicate that the video tutorial is valid and practical for use as a learning medium in the Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship subject.
