Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kepribadian wirausaha memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa Kelas XII Jurusan Tata Busana SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Jurusan Tata Busana SMK Negeri 6 Padang yang berjumlah 122 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil secara proportional random sampling sehingga berjumlah 92 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner berupa angket penelitian. Uji coba angket kepada 30 orang anggota populasi yang tidak termasuk sampel dalam penelitian. Teknik analisis angket penelitian menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Uji persyaratan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji multikolinearitas. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan Fhitung > Ftabel (10,901 > 2,000) sehingga  Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti kepribadian wirausaha berpengaruh terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa Tata Busana SMKN 6 Padang.Kata Kunci: Kepribadian Wirausaha, Minat Berwirausaha, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

Abstract

This study aim to compare learning outcomes in Class XI SMAN 1 Pantai Cermin using the Quizizz Aplication-assisted Discovery Learning learning model versus the Conventional learning model. A quasi-experimental design, purposive sampling technique, instrument testing, gain score, validity, reliability, different test questions, and level of difficulty were all used in the study. Data collection and documentation, as well as learning outcomes tests This study's population was class XI IPS SMA N 1 Pantai Cermin, with samples XI IPS 3 for the experimental class and XI IPS 2 for the control class. The paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test analysis methods were used. The study found that there are differences in student learning outcomes when using the Quizizz Aplication assisted Discovery Learning learning model versus traditional methods.

Abstract

The industry produces synthetic dye waste that has the potential to damage the environment, so that more environmentally friendly natural dye alternatives are needed. One of the plants that has the potential to be used as a source of natural dyes is the sicerek leaf (Clausena excavata Burm. F), because sicerek leaves contain flavonoid compounds that can produce color. This study aims to analyze the color names and color fastness to washing on Roberto Cavali's fabrics whose writings use sicerek leaf extract at various dyeing temperatures. The method used is the experimental method. Identification of color names was carried out by involving 18 panelists as respondents and supported by the use of the Colorblind Assistant application to assist in color determination. Meanwhile, color fastness to washing was tested using a gray scale and a staining scale according to SNI ISO standards. Data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression tests. The results of the study show (1) Differences in dyeing temperatures produce different color names, RGB values ??and hexadecimal codes at various dyeing temperatures. (2) The dyeing temperature does not have a significant effect on color fastness based on gray scale testing as proven by a simple linear regression test with a Sig. value. 0.351 > 0.05 which indicates that there is no difference or is not significant. Meanwhile, testing using a coloring scale at temperatures of 30?C, 60?C and 90?C shows a value of 4-5 with a good category for various types of multifiber including wool, acrylic, polyester, nylon, cotton and acetate. (3) The dyeing temperature of 90?C is the most optimal temperature in producing color and color fastness.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of video tutorials in enhancing students’ cognitive understanding and psychomotor skills in Flat Pattern Design learning. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest design was employed involving 30 fashion design students selected through purposive sampling. The instructional intervention utilized video tutorials that demonstrated each stage of the flat pattern design process, enabling students to review learning materials repeatedly and practice independently. Data were collected through cognitive achievement tests and psychomotor performance assessments and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed statistically significant improvements in students’ learning outcomes following the intervention (p < 0.05). Cognitive achievement scores increased from pretest to posttest, accompanied by substantial gains in psychomotor performance. Classroom observations also indicated high levels of participation and engagement throughout the learning activities. These results suggest that video tutorials provide effective support for procedural learning by facilitating visual demonstration, self-paced practice, and skill mastery. The study contributes to the growing body of research on digital learning in vocational education by demonstrating the potential of video-based instruction to strengthen both conceptual understanding and practical competencies in fashion design courses

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the difficulties experienced by grade XI students majoring in Fashion Design and Production at SMKN 1 Tebo in understanding how to create patterns for women’s pants in the Vocational Competency course, particularly due to the limited availability of learning materials that would allow students to learn independently. This study aims to develop valid and practical instructional media in the form of a video tutorial on creating women’s pants patterns using the Soekarno system. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model, which includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages; however, this study is limited to the Develop stage. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and assessment sheets. Validity testing was conducted by five validators—comprising three subject matter experts and two media experts—while practicality testing was carried out by one subject teacher and grade XI students through small-group testing involving 9 students and large-group testing involving 28 students. The results showed a content validity rate of 96.44% and a media validity rate of 95%, with an average validity of 95.72% in the highly valid category. The results of the practicality test conducted by teachers showed that 96.44% of the videos were rated as highly practical, while the student test yielded 87.65% in the small group and 91.07% in the large group, with an average of 91.72% rated as highly practical. Thus, the tutorial videos developed were deemed suitable for use as a learning medium. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa kelas XI jurusan Desain dan Produksi Busana di SMKN 1 Tebo dalam memahami pembuatan pola celana wanita pada mata pelajaran Kompetensi Kejuruan, khususnya karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video tutorial pembuatan pola celana wanita sistem Soekarno yang valid dan praktis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4-D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate, namun penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai tahap Develop. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan lembar penilaian. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh lima validator yang terdiri dari 3 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media, sedangkan uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh 1 orang guru mata pelajaran serta siswa kelas XI melalui uji kelompok kecil oleh 9 orang siswa dan kelompok besar oleh 28 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat validitas materi sebesar 96,44% dan validitas media sebesar 95%, dengan rata-rata validitas 95,72% kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru mencapai 96,44% kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan uji siswa memperoleh 87,65% pada kelompok kecil dan 91,07% pada kelompok besar dengan rata-rata 91,72% kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, video tutorial yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low achievement of learning objectives in the Textile Experiment and Decorative Design subject, particularly the fantasy embroidery component, among eleventh-grade Fashion Design students at SMK Negeri 3 Sungai Penuh. The problem was attributed to the limited learning media available to support students' independent practical learning. This study aimed to develop a valid and practical fantasy embroidery e-module as a learning medium. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) model, consisting of the define, design, and develop stages. The research subjects included 22 eleventh-grade Fashion Design students, five validators consisting of media and subject-matter experts, and one subject teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and validity and practicality questionnaires and were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the fantasy embroidery e-module was successfully developed as an interactive electronic learning medium containing instructional materials, images, videos, and learning activities across four instructional units. The validity test yielded an average score of 87.31%, indicating a very valid category. Meanwhile, the practicality test resulted in scores of 96.44% from the teacher, 91.73% from the small-group trial, and 85.76% from the large-group trial, all of which were categorized as very practical. These findings indicate that the developed fantasy embroidery e-module is feasible for use as an independent learning medium and has the potential to support more effective learning in the vocational school. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul sulaman fantasi yang valid dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaran bagi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model Four-D (4D) yang meliputi tahap define, design, dan develop. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 22 siswa kelas XI Tata Busana, lima validator yang terdiri atas ahli media dan ahli materi, serta seorang guru mata pelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta angket validitas dan praktikalitas, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul sulaman fantasi berhasil dikembangkan dalam bentuk media pembelajaran elektronik interaktif yang memuat materi, gambar, video pembelajaran, dan latihan pada empat kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil uji validitas memperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 87,31% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sementara itu, hasil uji praktikalitas memperoleh skor sebesar 96,44% oleh guru, 91,73% pada uji kelompok kecil, dan 85,76% pada uji kelompok besar, yang seluruhnya berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa e-modul sulaman fantasi memenuhi kriteria kelayakan untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran mandiri sehingga dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif pada elemen eksperimen tekstil dan desain hiasan di SMK.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Fabric selection is an important factor influencing the quality of garment construction, particularly in cowl neckline designs that require materials with excellent drapeability to produce smooth, even, proportional, and well-defined folds. This study aimed to describe the construction quality of flat-technique cowl necklines on blouses made from Maxmara satin and Roberto Cavalli satin and to analyze the differences between the two materials. The study employed an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The research objects were blouse cowl necklines produced using the two types of satin fabrics. Evaluation was conducted by 18 panelists consisting of 3 expert panelists and 15 trained panelists using a Likert-scale questionnaire based on four assessment aspects: fold flexibility, surface evenness, spacing between folds, and fold accuracy. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages and inferential statistics through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent sample t-test. The results showed that Maxmara satin achieved an overall score of 88.1% (highly appropriate category), while Roberto Cavalli satin obtained 79.01% (appropriate category). The independent sample t-test yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two fabric types. Therefore, Maxmara satin produced superior cowl neckline results compared with Roberto Cavalli satin and is recommended for blouse construction using the flat cowl neckline technique. ABSTRAK Pemilihan jenis bahan merupakan faktor penting yang menentukan kualitas hasil jadi busana, khususnya pada model cowl neckline yang membutuhkan kain dengan karakteristik daya jatuh (drapeability) yang baik agar menghasilkan gelombang yang luwes, rata, proporsional, dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hasil jadi model cowl neckline dengan teknik flat pada blus menggunakan bahan satin maxmara dan satin roberto cavali serta menganalisis perbedaan hasil keduanya. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Objek penelitian berupa hasil jadi cowl neckline pada blus yang dibuat menggunakan kedua jenis bahan tersebut. Penilaian dilakukan oleh 18 panelis yang terdiri atas 3 panelis ahli dan 15 panelis terlatih menggunakan angket skala Likert berdasarkan aspek keluwesan gelombang, kerataan permukaan, jarak antar gelombang, dan ketepatan bentuk gelombang. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa persentase serta statistik inferensial melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa satin maxmara memperoleh persentase penilaian sebesar 88,1% dengan kategori sangat sesuai, sedangkan satin roberto cavali memperoleh persentase sebesar 79,01% dengan kategori sesuai. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), yang mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua jenis bahan. Dengan demikian, satin maxmara memberikan hasil cowl neckline yang lebih baik dibandingkan satin roberto cavali sehingga lebih direkomendasikan untuk pembuatan blus dengan model cowl neckline menggunakan teknik flat.

Abstract

  ABSTRACT The practical learning of trouser sewing in the Fashion Expertise subject for Grade XI students of the Fashion Design and Production Department at SMKN 4 Pariaman is still predominantly conducted through teacher demonstrations, making it difficult for students to independently review sewing procedures, particularly techniques requiring high precision. This condition highlights the need for learning media that support flexible and independent learning. This study aimed to develop a video tutorial on trouser sewing techniques and to determine its validity and practicality. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, implemented up to the implementation stage. The research participants consisted of five validators (two media experts and three subject-matter experts), nine Grade XI Fashion Design and Production students, and one subject teacher. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using percentage analysis. The results showed that the developed video tutorial achieved an overall validity score of 88.46%, categorized as highly valid, based on media expert validation of 85.81% and material expert validation of 91.11%. Practicality testing yielded scores of 96.36% from the teacher, 92.73% from the small-group trial, and 90.30% from the field trial, all classified as highly practical. Therefore, the developed video tutorial is considered valid and practical for supporting practical trouser sewing instruction in vocational high school Fashion Expertise programs. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran praktik menjahit pantalon pada mata pelajaran Kompetensi Keahlian Busana di kelas XI Jurusan Desain dan Produksi Busana SMKN 4 Pariaman masih didominasi metode demonstrasi guru sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan mempelajari kembali tahapan menjahit secara mandiri, terutama pada teknik yang memerlukan ketelitian tinggi. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan perlunya media pembelajaran yang mampu mendukung proses belajar secara fleksibel dan mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media video tutorial teknik menjahit pantalon serta mendeskripsikan tingkat validitas dan praktikalitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang dilaksanakan hingga tahap implementation. Subjek penelitian meliputi lima validator yang terdiri atas dua ahli media dan tiga ahli materi, sembilan siswa kelas XI Desain dan Produksi Busana, serta satu guru mata pelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket menggunakan skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video tutorial memperoleh tingkat validitas sebesar 88,46% dengan kategori sangat layak, berdasarkan penilaian ahli media sebesar 85,81% dan ahli materi sebesar 91,11%. Hasil uji praktikalitas menunjukkan penilaian guru sebesar 96,36%, kelompok kecil sebesar 92,73%, dan uji lapangan sebesar 90,30%, yang seluruhnya berada pada kategori sangat praktis.
