Abstract

This study aims to describe the existence of traditional games in Tamalate Sub-District of Makassar City, how the children play life today and the reasons for the community especially children to choose modern games rather than traditional games. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using qualitative description analysis with stages reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that 1) The existence of traditional games in the Tamalate Sub-district of Makassar City was getting eroded, because traditional games as an escape when saturated, the lack of parental supervision and modern games were more interesting. 2) Children's play life in Tamalate Sub-district, Makassar City, which is modern play life with many Smartphones, Children are starting to leave traditional games. 3) The reason people especially children choose modern games, namely the existence of shame and prestige, environmental factors, lack of playing ground for children.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan konstruktivisme, yakni memahami (verstehen) proses makna dan efek dari penguasaan reproduksi ruang. Dalam pengumpulan datanya, peneliti mengumpulkan data wawancara dimana peneliti bertindak selaku instrumen penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penduduk lokal hampir sebagian besarnya telah mengadopsi trend yang dilakukan oleh penduduk pendatang (warga masyarakat kota). Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari perkembangan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan warga masyarakat lokal yang cenderung mengalami perubahan. Penguasaan reproduksi ruang tidak hanya berasal dari bagian yang lebih jauh dari lahan kekotaan terbangun saja, namun banyak juga yang datang dari bagian dalam kota. Sebab-sebab tertentu tersebut merupakan kekuatan-kekuatan penentu penyebab terjadinya mobilitas tempat tinggal (residential mobility) dan mobilitas fungsi-fungsi (functional mobility).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of interaction between travel agents in developing tourism travel products in North Toraja Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the tourism potential in North Toraja Regency is very high, judging from the list of various attractions and the unique and distinctive characteristics that can only be found in North Toraja Regency. Existing tourism products are common tourism products and are a legacy from the design of existing tourism products since the opening of Toraja as a tourist destination. The tourism product produced by the travel agency is an arrangement of potential components in all regions in North Toraja Regency which are under the guidance of the Culture and Tourism Office as the government's representative. As for the forms of service and tourism cultural interaction with travel agents through Economic and Business Motivated Interaction, Culturally Motivated Interaction and Symbolic Interaction.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegtahui bentuk interaksi biro perjalanan wisata dalam mengembangkan produk perjalanan wisata di Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa potensi wisata di kabupaten Toraja Utara sangat tinggi dilihat dari daftar jumlah atraksi yang bervariasi dan karakter yang unik serta khas yang hanya bisa dijumpai di Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Produk wisata yang sudah ada merupakanproduk wisata yang umum dan menajdi warisan dari desain produk wisata yang sudah ada sejak dibukanya toraja menjadi destinasi wisata.produk wisata yang dihasilkan oleh biro perjalanan wisata adalah susunan komponen potensi disemua wilayah di Kabupaten Toraja Utara yang menjadi binaan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata sebagai wakil pemerintah. Adapun bentuk Interaksi dinas kebudayaan dan pariwisata dengan biro perjalanan wisata melalui  Interaksi Bermotif Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Interaksi Bermotif Budaya dan Interaksi Simbolis.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and describe the social interactions of out-of-school adolescents in Ombay Village Pantar Timur District, Alor Regency. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The focus of this study was adolescents who dropped out of school and their parents of adolescents who dropped out of school in Pantar Timur District, Alor Regency. The number of informants was 6 people using the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique is by using data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study was carried out through internal validation (credibility), dependability (defendability) and certainty of objectivity (confirmability). The results showed that the social interaction of dropout adolescents in Ombay Village Pantar Timur District, Alor Regency, namely the lack of interaction between children and their family and social environment, so that the interaction between parents and children was less than optimal, another reason for dropping out of school was joining in with their playmates. who is a school dropout, so the child is suggested by the condition of his friends.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial remaja putus sekolah di Desa Ombay Kecamatan Pantar Timur Kabupaten Alor. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Fokus penelitian ini adalah remaja putus sekolah dan orang tua remaja putus sekolah di Kecamatan Pantar Timur Kabupaten Alor.Jumlah informan berjumlah 6 orang dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui validasi internal (credibility), Kebergantungan (defendability) dan kepastian objektivitas (confirmability).Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwainteraksi sosial remaja putus sekolah di Kecamatan Pantar Timur Kabupaten Alor yaitu kurang terjalin interaksi antara anak dengan lingkungan keluarga dan sosialnya, sehingga interaksi antara orang tua dan anak yang kurang maksimal, penyebab lainnya anak putus sekolah adalah ikut-ikutan bersama teman bermainnya yang merupakan anak putus sekolah, sehingga anak tersugesti dengan keadaan temannya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the success of empowering fishing communities in the coastal area of Marusu District, Maros Regency. The results showed that the implementation of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency was by creating instruments that regulate the empowerment of coastal fishing communities in order to optimize the quality of the coastal environment covering social, economic and cultural aspects as well as being able to create a conducive atmosphere for the implementation of development in in order to provide access to various interests of fishing communities to optimize development in coastal areas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi  pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros adalah dengan cara membuat instrument yang mengatur pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan wilayah pesisir agar dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas lingkungan pesisir melingkupi aspek sosial, ekonomi  dan budaya serta mampu menciptakan suasana yang kondusif bagi pelaksanaan pembangunan dalam rangka memberikan akses berbagai kepentingan masyarakat nelayan untuk mengoptimalkan pembangunan di wilayah pesisir.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the power relations of prospective members of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) ahead of the 2024 General Election in Maros Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection process was obtained through direct observation in the field (observation) and in-depth interviews with various sources of research informants. The rationale is to use the theory of political representation which aims to identify and analyze the power relations of prospective DPRD members. The results of the research are that the power relations of DPRD member candidates ahead of the 2024 General Election in Maros Regency have a reciprocal influence in accessing power and generating support. Access to power is demonstrated through a network of top-level, middle-level and lowest-level authorities. Apart from that, the public space is also open for the collaboration process carried out with prospective DPRD members and their sympathizers in the political arena through access to power relations.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis relasi kuasa calon anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) jelang Pemilihan Umum 2024 di Kabupaten Maros. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan  adalah deskripstif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan datanya diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung dilapangan (observasi) dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dengan berbagai sumber informan penelitian. Adapun landasan pemikiran adalah menggunakan teori perwakilan politik yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis relasi kuasa calon anggota DPRD. Hasil penelitian adalah relasi kuasa calon anggota DPRD jelang Pemilihan Umum 2024 di Kabupaten Maros memiliki pengaruh secara resiprokal dalam mengakses kekuasaan dalam menghasilkan dukungan. Akses kekuasaan tersebut ditunjukkan melalui jaringan penguasa level atas, level menengah dan level terendah. Selain itu juga terbukanya ruang publik bagi proses kerjasama yang dilakukan bersama calon anggota DPRD dengan simpatisannya dalam arena politik melalui akses relasi kuasa.

Abstract

The type of research used is ethnographic research and uses a qualitative and sociological approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data in this study were obtained from two sources, namely primary data sources from 6 (six) informants and secondary data sources from relevant documents. Then the data analysis technique is carried out in three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Sayyang Pattu'du tradition is a traditional Mandar performance held to appreciate children who have memorized the Koran by parading around the village on a horse and accompanied by tambourine music and Mandar poetry (kalindaqdaq), and there is a passarung as a companion. maintain the balance of the rider and the palangi who is in charge of holding the umbrella so that the rider does not overheat. In preserving the sayyang pattu'du tradition, there is community participation. Forms of community participation include: the planning stage, the implementation stage and the utilization stage. After going through these stages, there are types of participation of the Sidorejo Village community in preserving the sayyang pattu'du tradition, including: 1) Mind participation, 2) Energy participation, 3) Money participation, and 4) Emotional participation. The preservation efforts are: 1) Carrying out the sayyang pattu'du tradition every year, 2) Not changing the procedures for implementation, and 3) Collaborating with all parties.

Abstract

The phenomenon of modern multicultural societies and diversity of identities often leads to social fragmentation. This paper emphasizes the role of religion as a mediator of social integration, a provider of shared values, and a symbolic space that unites society. This research was conducted using a reflective qualitative approach through literature study and theoretical analysis of the sociology of religion. Data collection techniques involved documentation, specifically the review of academic works, journal articles, and key books in the field of religious sociology relevant to the topics of social integration and religiosity. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques employed thematic content analysis, focusing on the interpretation of meaning, values, and the social functions of religious practices within the context of a multicultural society. The results of the analysis show that open and impactful religious practices can be a middle ground in dealing with the complexity of a fragmented society. This article recommends strengthening inclusive religiosity through education, social policies, and interfaith forums in order to build sustainable social cohesion.
