Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of digital technology in elementary school learning and analyze the supporting policies and challenges, specifically at SDN X Merangin. Digital technology utilization plays an essential role in enhancing learning quality, teacher-student interaction, and educational administration. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with four teachers and one principal as subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The results indicate that digital technology has been applied to support both online and offline learning; however, its implementation is influenced by device availability, teacher capacity, and school policy support. Key challenges include limited internet access, resistance from some teachers to innovation, and lack of intensive training. Overall, digital technology utilization has the potential to improve learning effectiveness but requires adaptive policies and continuous teacher training.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of teacher professional ethics in maintaining teaching time discipline at SDN X Merangin. Teacher professional ethics serves as a moral guideline regulating responsibility, integrity, and professional commitment in carrying out educational duties. Discipline in teaching time reflects teacher professionalism and directly affects learning quality. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with three classroom teachers and one principal as participants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that teachers at SDN X Merangin strive to maintain punctuality and teaching readiness as forms of professional responsibility and respect for students. Professional ethics is reflected in punctual attendance, lesson preparedness, and honesty in implementing schedules. However, external duties, administrative tasks, and limited supervision still affect time discipline. The study concludes that teacher professional ethics strongly supports the establishment of discipline, responsibility, and professionalism in primary education.

Abstract

The philosophy of science plays a fundamental role in forming a critical, systemic, and ethical framework for educational management. This study aims to analyze the nature and scope of the philosophy of science within the context of educational management, specifically focusing on the dimensions of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The research utilizes a literature review methodology, examining various academic sources published between 2023 and 2026 accessed via Google Scholar and Garuda. The findings indicate that the nature of the philosophy of science in educational management establishes the foundational purpose and essence of educational systems, preventing them from becoming purely mechanistic. Its scope encompasses the critical evaluation of knowledge sources (epistemology), understanding the reality of organizational structures (ontology), and applying ethical and moral values in educational leadership and policy-making (axiology). Ultimately, integrating philosophical principles enables educational managers to formulate policies grounded in scientific truth and ethical considerations, navigating dynamic social and technological transformations effectively.
