Abstract

Socialization of Tourism Awareness as an Effort to Develop Community-Based Rural Tourism in Fatukoto Village. Rural Tourism Development is a government program to build a village tourism system and improve community welfare. In 2019, the Ministry of Tourism collaborates with universities to build tourist villages in East Nusa Tenggara Province. One of the villages is Fatukoto Village as a pilot rural tourism that has natural potential in the form of Pine Forest, Kaenka Lake, and Fatunausus Marble Cliffs. This community service seeks to increase tourism awareness for the people of Fatukoto Village through the SAPTA PESONA approach. The method chosen in implementing this community service is community education in which there are observations, interviews, documentation, focus group discussions, and socialization. The number of participants who took part in this service activity was 30 people aged 17-50 years. The result of this community service is the formation of a tourism awareness group in Fatukoto Village and a tourism work program in Fatukoto Village such as plans for cultural activities, regulations on the cleanliness of tourist attractions, and commitment to building Fatukoto tourism villages.

Abstract

Perkembangan pariwisata di Nusa Tenggara Timur tidak terlepas dari dukungan industri ekonomi kreatif yang secara aktif memasarkan produk-produk unggulan lokal salah satunya tenun ikat yang diproduksi di Kampoeng Tenun Alor Kota Kupang. Industri kreatif ini telah berjalan sejak tahun 2014 dengan dikelola oleh kelompok pengrajin perempuan bernama Ternate yang mencintai tenun ikat dan memiliki visi untuk memperkenalkan kain tenun ikat NTT menjadi produk yang mendunia. Namun, visi yang optimis tersebut belum didukung oleh kemampuan yang optimal dalam mengelola manajemen usaha dalam bidang kreasi tenun. Masalah ini dipersulit dengan datangnya pandemic yang menyebabkan kelompok Ternate di Kampoeng Tenun Alor menghadapi kesulitan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja, menambah diversifikasi produk tenun, mengelola keuangan usaha, dan kesulitan dalam pelaporan pajak. Pelatihan ini merupakan sebuah upaya untuk mengoptimalkan tata kelola manajemen usaha di Kampung Tenun Alor. Pelatihan manajemen usaha UKM berisi materi mengenai kewirausahaan, keuangan, dan perpajakan bagi industri kreatif. Melalui metode pendidikan masyarakat, peserta pelatihan berjumlah 10 orang dari kelompok pengrajin Mmendapatkan pelatihan manajemen usaha dan terampil mengelola manajemen usaha untuk meningkatkan produktivitas industri ekonomi kreatif dalam mendukung kebangkitan pariwisata di Nusa Tenggara Timur Small Medium Enterprise Business Management Training for Women's Group of Ikat Weaving Craftsmen in Kampoeng Tenun Alor, Kupang City The development of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara is inseparable from the support of the creative economy industry which is actively marketing superior local products, for example, Ikat weaving produced by a group of women in Kampoeng Tenun Alor, Kupang City. This creative industry has been running since 2014, managed by a group of women craftsmen named Ternate who loves ikat weaving and has the vision to introduce NTT woven cloth into a global product. However, this optimistic vision has not been supported by optimal abilities in managing business management in the field of weaving creations. This problem was exacerbated by the arrival of the pandemic which caused the Ternate group in Kampoeng Tenun Alor to face difficulties in increasing work productivity, increasing diversification of woven products, managing business finances, and difficulties in tax reporting. This training is an effort to optimize business management governance in Kampung Tenun Alor. SME business management training contains material on entrepreneurship, finance, and taxation for the creative industry. Through the community education method, 10 training participants from the craftsmen group received business management training and were skilled in managing business management to increase the productivity of the creative economy industry in supporting the revival of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara.
