Abstract

Abstract This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is done in 2 cycles. The aim of this research is to know the application of cooperative learning model type STAD with macromedia flash in learning material about human blood circulation system to improve students’ learning result. Method in this research is qualitative method. The result of research shows that in teaching and learning activity, the activity of teacher in cycle I showed good and very good criteria with percentage 96.15% and the students’ activity showed good and very good criteria with percentage 73%. In the cycle II both of the teacher’s activity and the students’ activity got good and very good criteria with percentage 100%. The learning result in the cycle I, 57.89% of students got point under 70, in the cycle II got increase become 89.47% for the students’ who can pass the activity. Thereby, it can be concluded that by using cooperative learning model type STAD with macromedia flash can improve the students’ learning result in learning material about human blood circulation system. Abstract

This study aims to identify the presence of dermatophyte fungi between the Meat Seller's toes with tinea pedis at terminal 42 traditional market Gorontalo City. The type of research used in this study is observational descriptive with a qualitative approach. The sample in this study is all butchers at Terminal 42 Market Gorontalo City which is about 15 samples. The sampling technique used is total sampling technique. Sources of data in this study obtained by data collection techniques, through interviews and examination of fungal culture in the laboratory. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively, which describes the morphological characteristics of dermatophyte fungi based on macroscopic and microscopic observations, and continued with identification activities. Fungal identification is done by match the characteristics of the fungus obtained from the observations with reference to the identification book. The results of the study show based on macroscopic and microscopic examination between the toes of a meat seller with tinea pedis at Terminal 42 Traditional Market Gorontalo City, 53.3% Dermatophytes fungi were found of the samples, namely Trichophyton rubrum. Other than that, 46,7% Non Dermatophyte were also found, such as Aspergillus sp, Rhizopus sp, Candida albicans and species of Metarhizium anisopliaea. Abstract

Tinea Pedis is a dermatomycosis of the feet that often occurs between the fingers and soles of the feet. Generally, tinea pedis occurs in people who are often in humid places such as rice farmers. This study aims to identify the fungus that causes Tinea Pedis in rice farmers in Jatimulya Village, Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This research method is qualitative research and the data is analyzed descriptively. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method with a total sample of 8 people. Samples of skin scrapings near the lesion were taken aseptically and then cultured on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar media at room temperature for 12 days. Observations were made macroscopically and microscopically. The results showed that from skin scraping samples from Tinea pedis patients, 62.5% of dermatophytes were identified, namely the genus Trichophyton. In addition, non-dermatophyte fungi were also found, namely the genus Aspergillus and Metarhizium. Keyword: Identification, Tinea Pedis, Farmer, Fungi
