Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived price and service quality on customer satisfaction when using an indosat card. This study uses quantitative approach, through the correlational method. The respondents of this study are residents of Cerme Subdistrict Indosat card users. In sampling through nonprobability sampling using incidental sampling technique. A total of 151 respondents. Scale validity test using content validity. Reliability test using Alpha Cornbach. Data analysis using multiple linear regression tests with IBM Statistical Program For Social Science (SPSS) for windows version 21. From this study, the results obtained are the simultaneous influence between price perceptions and service quality on customer satisfaction of Indosat card users in Cerme sub-district residents with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). In the regression analysis test, a significant value of 0.021 (p <0.05) was obtained, which means that there is no influence between price perceptions on customer satisfaction. The regression test obtained a significance value of 0.232 (p>0.05) which means that there is an effect of service quality on customer satisfaction. The R Square (R2) test results show a figure of 0.201, which means that the price perception and service quality variables contribute 21.1% to the customer satisfaction variable, while the remaining 79.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 was first discovered in the city of Wuhan in China. COVID-19 has caused a lot of impact on human life. For exposed individuals are required to carry out isolation and receive intensive treatment without visits from anyone. Therefore, family social support and positive thinking are needed. When individuals get family social support and are able to think positively, it is hoped that they can increase their resilience abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of family social support and positive thinking on resilience in survivors of Covid-19 at Perum Griya Wiharta Asri. This research uses quantitative methods. The results of the multiple linear regression test show the sig. 0.000 <0.5 means that there is a simultaneous effect of family social support and positive thinking on resilience in survivors of Covid-19 at Perum Griya Wiharta Asri. Family social support and positive thinking variables contributed 58.6% to the resilience variable. Future researchers are expected to be able to examine using other variables that might affect resilience and also expand the criteria and broader subject.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' academic resilience with individual counseling with goal setting techniques. A sample of 5 students as subjects were given treatment, namely counseling and observed after being given treatment. From the results of the pre-test, the results showed that the level of resilience of the subject was sufficient, between the ranges of 90-115. Furthermore, observations were made which showed significant behavioral changes. This means that counseling treatment with goal setting techniques can increase the subject's academic resilience. This finding is in line with previous research which shows that group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques can increase students' academic resilience. By providing significant results but in this study there were no results from the post-test or comparison between groups.  The findings of this study can be a foundation for students that goal setting techniques can be applied to individual counseling to increase academic resilience. In the future, students can use research methods that compare between groups and can show significant results.

Abstract

Konsumen yang sering terpapar promosi di TikTok mungkin membeli produk karena pengaruh kelompok sosial atau tren, bukan karena kebutuhan pribadi. Hal ini bisa menyebabkan ketergantungan pada opini eksternal dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian. Karena konsumen yang sering terpapar promosi di TikTok mungkin membeli produk karena pengaruh kelompok sosial atau tren, bukan karena kebutuhan pribadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh content marketing dan self-monitoring terhadap minat beli pada akun TikTok @jiniso.id. Metode kuantitatif digunakan, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 281 perempuan berusia 18-15 tahun yang berdomisili di Gerbangkertosusila sebagai responden. Menggunakan regresi berganda untuk analisis data, dengan hasil bahwa content marketing dan self-monitoring memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap minat pelanggan untuk melakukan pembelian melalui akun TikTok @jiniso.id. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui content marketing dan self-monitoring dapat mempengaruhi minat beli seseorang. Peningkatan dalam kedua variabel tersebut akan diikuti dengan peningkatan minat beli. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa content marketing yang efektif, yang disesuaikan dengan preferensi konsumen, dan kemampuan konsumen untuk memantau dan menyesuaikan perilaku mereka, berperan penting dalam mendorong minat beli pada akun tiktok @jiniso.id. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi baru dalam pemahaman mengenai pengaruh self-monitoring terhadap minat beli, yang sebelumnya belum banyak diteliti. Abstract

Making decisions about further education is a critical phase for students, particularly during the transition from adolescence to adulthood. This process not only defines their educational direction but also impacts their career prospects and future life. This study aims to examine the influence of parenting styles and self-efficacy on further education decision-making among 11th-grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Gresik. The research employed a quantitative design using multiple linear regression. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using classical assumption tests, multiple regression. The results show that democratic parenting and self-efficacy have a significant positive influence on students’ educational decision-making abilities. In contrast, authoritarian parenting has a significant negative influence, while permissive parenting shows no significant effect. The implications of this study highlight the importance of supportive parenting and the development of students' self-efficacy to help them make informed educational decisions. Schools are also expected to provide psycho-pedagogical support to foster students’ independence and confidence in planning their educational futures.Pengambilan keputusan pendidikan lanjutan merupakan fase krusial yang dihadapi siswa, khususnya pada masa transisi dari remaja menuju dewasa. Proses ini tidak hanya menentukan arah pendidikan, tetapi juga memengaruhi prospek karier dan kehidupan masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh dan self-efficacy terhadap pengambilan keputusan pendidikan lanjutan pada siswa kelas XI di SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Gresik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi linear berganda. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis dan self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam mengambil keputusan pendidikan. Sementara itu, pola asuh otoriter menunjukkan pengaruh negatif signifikan, dan pola asuh permisif tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam memberikan pola asuh yang mendukung serta penguatan self-efficacy siswa untuk membantu mereka membuat keputusan pendidikan yang tepat. Sekolah juga diharapkan mampu menyediakan dukungan psikopedagogis yang mendorong kemandirian dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam menentukan masa depan pendidikannya.

Abstract

The 21st century requires every individual to possess creative thinking skills to face increasingly complex challenges. This skill can be developed through learning mathematics. This study aimed to determine the quality of challenge-based learning assisted by virtual reality STEAM Trails in the context of the Pekalongan Batik Museum to improve mathematical creative thinking skills. The method used in this study was design research. The participants of this study were 30 ninth-grade students at a junior high school in Pekalongan, Indonesia. The data collection techniques included validation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Qualitative data analysis techniques were used to analyse the students' responses after learning. Quantitative data analysis techniques were used to analyse mathematical creative thinking skills based on the pretest and posttest results. Validity was analysed based on the validation results by three validators, and practicality was analysed based on the results of the practicality questionnaire by five students from the experimental group. The results of this study showed a significant increase in the pre- and post-test results. Additionally, the results of the student response questionnaire indicated high satisfaction with the learning process. Further research is needed to develop VR for other contexts.

Abstract

Amid concerns over declining academic performance, as indicated by metrics like PISA scores, student academic engagement has become a critical issue. The proliferation of digital technology has introduced new challenges, with social media addiction emerging as a significant potential detriment to students’ focus and motivation. Concurrently, psychological factors such as self-esteem are crucial in shaping students’ academic attitudes and behaviors. This study aims to determine the influence of social media addiction on the academic engagement of high school students, and to examine the mediating role of self-esteem in this relationship. A quantitative research design using a survey method was employed. The sample consisted of 146 high school students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using three validated instruments: the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-Student Survey (UWES-SS) for academic engagement, a scale adapted from the Young Internet Addiction Test for social media addiction, and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed a significant negative influence of social media addiction on academic engagement (p < 0.05). Conversely, self-esteem was found to have a significant positive influence on academic engagement (p < 0.05). The simultaneous analysis confirmed that social media addiction and self-esteem together have a significant effect on students’ academic engagement.

Abstract

This report discusses the mental workload of employees in the Human Resources (HR) Department of PT X in Gresik, which is an important concern in the context of employee productivity and well-being. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence mental workload and provide recommendations for improvement. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to all HR employees, with the NASA TLX approach to measure the level of mental workload. The research sample consists of eight employees selected based on the questionnaire results. The data analysis technique was carried out by identifying factors that influence mental workload and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions through counseling sessions. The research results show that mental workload is influenced by high job demands, lack of team support, and poor communication. The counseling sessions conducted had a positive impact on employee stress management. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on mental workload within the organizational context, as well as recommendations for more humane policies. The implications of this research highlight the importance of paying attention to employees' mental well-being to enhance productivity and create a healthier work environment. This research is expected to serve as a reference for management in designing strategies that support employee well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh Regulasi Emosi Terhadap Resiliensi Atlet Pencak Silat Tapak Suci Gresik. Regulasi emosi adalah cara atlet dalam mengelola emosi dan menyeimbangkan dengan keadaan yang sulit sehingga atlet mampu merubah emosi negatif menjadi lebih positif. Resiliensi adalah kemampuan atlet dalam beradaptasi dari situasi atau masalah yang sedang dialami, kemampuan untuk bertahan, tidak mudah menyerah dan kemampuan untuk bangkit menyelesaikan permasalahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel terdiri dari 41 atlet. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik insidental. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Rsquare atau koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,189 dari regulasi emosi. Nilai Rsquare 0,189 menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh variabel regulasi emosi terhadap variabel resiliensi sebesar 18,9% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap resiliensi atlet Pencak Silat Tapak Suci Gresik.
