Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan pembelian yang dilakukan oleh konsumen tidak semata-mataberdasarkan pertimbangan rasional semata. Aspek emosional turut berpengaruh dalampengambilan keputusan. Dalam kondisi ketidakpastian (uncertainty) konsumen akanmemutuskan pembelian berdasarkan pertimbangan untung (gain) dan rugi (loss).Konsumen akan menghindari resiko (risk-averse) jika hasil yang akan diperolehdipersepsikan untung. Sedangkan konsumen akan mencari resiko (risk-seeking) jikahasil yang akan diperoleh dipersepsikan rugi.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to increase the capacity and organizational development of Kindergartens and playgroups principals in Gresik Regency. The methods used are lectures, self-reports, and assignments. This activity was attended by 74 school principals from 45 Kindergartens and 39 playgroups. The materials given were the strategic functions and roles of leaders in organizational development, the introduction of leadership behavior that is oriented towards organizational development, the process of organizational development: theory and practice, the development of a hardiness personality to support the effectiveness of organizational development. The result of this workshop was that the principal increasingly understood his/her strategic role as a leader in school organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mental accounting on satisfaction with purchase decision, using self-regulation as a mediator. Previous studies about post-purchase have focused on decision satisfaction - despite the latter being an antecedent of satisfaction. This study attempts to view decision satisfaction through the lense of mental accounting, namely how consumers code and categorize income as well as evaluate spendings. This is a quantitative research that studies consumers who bought cars in Jakarta and Surabaya. The sample consist of 316 participants, recruited through convenient sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is a modified Decision Satisfaction Questionnaire (SWD) by Holmes-Roy, 3-item Self-Regulation Questionaire to measure Self-Regulation to buy, and 2-item Mental Budgeting Questionnaire to measure mental accounting. These are all in the form of a 5-item Likert scale. The validity of the item is done using the Rasch model. Data analysis was performed using partial least squares PLS-SEM with the use of Software SmartPLS 3. The findings indicate that self-regulation acts as a mediator between mental accounting and decision satisfaction. Decision Satisfaction as First order is affected directly by the second order, which is “Good Enough”, “Not Available”, “Move On” and “Happy with the decision”. Self-Regulation as a mediator variable positioned as First order is influenced directly by the Second order, namely “Strategy”, “Control”, “Objective”, “Evaluation”, “Progress”, and “Firmness”. Mental Accounting as First order is influenced directly by Second order, namely “Frame”, “Category”, and “Evaluation”. Keyword: decision satisfaction, mental accounting, self-regulation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh antara kecemasan sosial terhadap social media addiction pada mahasiswa psikologi angkatan 2018-2020 Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menganalisis data yang didapat dari sampel sebanyak 151 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala Social Media Addiction yang disusun berdasarkan teori dari Griffiths (2005) dan skala Kecemasan Sosial yang disusun berdasarkan teori dari LaGreca dan Lopez (2005). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh kedua variabel adalah kuesioner yang disusun dalam bentuk skala likert dan dibagikan melalui google formulir. Metode analisis statistik yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji regresi sederhana menghasilkan nilai R = 0,265 dengan taraf signifikan (p) = 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti adanya pengaruh signifikan antara variabel social media addiction terhadap kecemasan sosial. Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh social media addiction terhadap kecemasan sosial pada mahasiswa psikologi angkatan 2018-2020 Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik dimasa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine Emotion Focused Coping in fanatic K-pop fans. The approach used in this research is qualitative research with a case study type. The subjects in this study amounted to 3 K-pop fans entering early adulthood. Data collection techniques using interview methods, data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman. The data reliability techniques used are method triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that they have fanatical behavior, the three subjects both said that K-pop has a big influence on them because K-pop is a comfortable place for the subject if the subject often feels stressed or tired in real life or from work or others, K-pop can make the subject happy again through songs and others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of electronic word of mouth (e-wom) and price perceptions on buying interest through the Shopee application. This research uses a quantitative research type, with a correlational method. Respondents in this study were students in Gresik. The sampling technique with Non Probability Sampling is Incidental Sampling. A total of 120 respondents. Test the validity of the scale using content validity. Reliability test using Alpha Cornbach. Data analysis using multiple linear regression test with IBM Statistical Program For Social Science (SPSS) for windows version 26. The results of this study are that there is a simultaneous influence between electronic word of mouth and price perception on buying interest through the shopee application on students in Gresik with significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). In the regression test analysis obtained a significance value of 1.278 (p> 0.05), which means that there is an influence between electronic word of mouth on buying interest, so h2 is accepted. Regression test obtained a significance value of 0.329 (p <0.05), which means that there is no influence between price perceptions and buying interest. The results of the Square Test (R2) show a number of 0.350, which means that the electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) variable and the price perception variable contribute 35% to the buying interest variable, while the remaining 65% is influenced by other variables that were not studied in this research

Abstract

Currently, there is a lot of advanced technology and equipment in use, but it willnot be able to support the company in achieving its goals without support fromemployees. PT.X is a company that is developing and is not free from variousproblems. This study aims to determine the effect of the need for appreciationand group cohesiveness on the work motivation of PT.X employees in Gresik.This research is a type of correlational research with a quantitative approach.The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique, with a totalof 47 employees. The scale used for this study is a Likert scale with 5 answerchoices. The validity test used is content validity and for the reliability test usingCornbach's alpha analysis. The data analysis technique used is multiple linearregression test. The results of this study indicate that the significance value ofthe appreciation need variable is 0.008 > 0.05, then Ha is rejected and Ho isaccepted, which means that there is no influence of the need for appreciation onemployee work motivation. The group cohesiveness variable obtained asignificance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is acceptedand Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of group cohesiveness onemployee work motivation. The contribution of the variable to the esteem needsvariable is 8%, while the group cohesiveness variable is 80%.

Abstract

Abstract: Early-age children often struggle to control their emotions, with tantrums being a common issue arising from their inability to express feelings effectively. Enhancing parental understanding regarding tantrum behavior can be achieved through conducting parenting seminars as a solution to equip parents with appropriate strategies in dealing with their children's tantrums. The method employed in this article is quantitative, involving 25 parent respondents from TK ABA 1 Gresik. Pre-Test and Post-Test questionnaires were administered before and after the seminar to assess changes in parental understanding of child tantrums. Statistical test results indicate a significant difference between the Pre-Test (19.08) and Post-Test (12.68) averages, affirming the positive impact of this seminar. Analysis highlights the effectiveness of parenting seminars in altering parental perceptions of child behavior, offering better insights into tantrums, handling strategies, and emphasizing the parental role in supporting child development. Positive responses from participants and schools demonstrate the tangible benefits of this initiative. In conclusion, parenting seminars hold significant urgency in addressing tantrum challenges in early-age children. By imparting deep understanding and concrete strategies to parents, these seminars play a crucial role in fostering optimal child development. The positive outcomes of this research confirm that parenting seminars can bring about significant changes in understanding and managing tantrums in young children in Indonesia. Abstrak: Anak usia dini sering mengalami kesulitan dalam mengendalikan emosi, salah satu permasalahannya adalah perilaku tantrum yang muncul akibat ketidakmampuan anak dalam mengekspresikan perasaan dengan baik. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pemahaman orangtua terkait perilaku tantrum dapat melalui pelaksanaan seminar parenting sebagai salah satu solusi untuk membekali orang tua dengan strategi yang tepat dalam menyikapi perilaku tantrum anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah kuantitatif dengan 25 responden orang tua di TK ABA 1 Gresik. Kuesioner Pre-Test dan Post-Test diberikan sebelum dan setelah seminar untuk menilai perubahan pemahaman orang tua terkait tantrum anak. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata Pre-Test (19,08) dan Post-Test (12,68), menegaskan dampak positif seminar ini. Analisis menyoroti bahwa seminar ilmu parenting efektif dalam mengubah persepsi orang tua tentang perilaku anak, memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang tantrum, strategi penanganan, dan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendukung perkembangan anak. Respons positif dari peserta dan pihak sekolah menunjukkan manfaat nyata dari kegiatan ini. Kesimpulannya, seminar ilmu parenting memiliki urgensi yang besar dalam mengatasi tantangan tantrum pada anak usia dini. Dengan memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam dan strategi konkret kepada orang tua, seminar ini dapat berperan penting dalam mendukung perkembangan optimal anak-anak. Hasil positif dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa seminar ilmu parenting mampu memberikan perubahan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan penanganan tantrum pada anak usia dini di Indonesia.

Abstract

Regulasi emosi tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan setiap individu. Kesadaran atau aktivitas kognitif membantu individu dalam mengelola emosi atau perasaan yang berasal dari dirinya dan mencegah emosi tersebut menjadi berlebihan, misalnya setelah atau saat mengalami stress. Salah satu cara yaitu dengan diberikannya edukasi regulasi emosi berupa seminar ini maka diharapkan mereka dapat memahami materi yang diberikan dan dapat menerapkannya di kehidupan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk siswa-siswa SMP dapat meregulasi emosi pada dirinya untuk mencegah perilaku agresif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan memberikan kuesioner (Pre-Test dan Post-Test) yang tiap tes nya berisi 10 pernyataan tentang regulasi emosi dan 5 pertanyaan terkait pengetahuan kognitifnya. Berdasarkan output dari SPSS, dapat dilihat nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,000. Karena nilai 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan ada perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil pre-test dengan post-test sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada pengaruh terhadap Regulasi Emosi Diri untuk Mencegah Perilaku Agresif pada Siswa SMP Melalui UPP Sang Surya.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of self-regulated learning and academic flow on the academic achievement of students of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Gresik. Academic achievement is measured through the Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) as an indicator of success. Internal factors such as self-regulation in learning and full involvement in academic activities are considered to play an important role in the achievement of academic achievement. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 840 active students from various study programs at the Faculty of Engineering. Data was collected through questionnaires that measured aspects of metacognition, motivation, behavior, absorption, enjoyment, and intrinsic motivation. The results of the analysis show that self-regulated learning and academic flow contribute significantly to student academic achievement, with academic flow having a greater influence.
