Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement of the science of process skill and scientific attitude of students through the implementtation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL).  This research used in this study is Classroom action research using the Kemmis & Mc Taggart model which consist of two cycles each cycle through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of this study shows that the implementation of learning in cycle II was more increased compared to the learning process in cycle I. this is indicated by the value of N-Gain Sciences process skills in the first cycle of 0.432 while in the second cycle increased to 0.70; and N-Gain for scientific attitudes in cycle I was 0.252 while in cycle II it increased to 0.392

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of developing character-based phisic based character inquiry models for junior high school students. This research used the type of Research and Development (R&D) with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results show: worksheet light and optical instruments based on inquiry models are included in the criteria are very suitable to be used as a study guide for students of class VIII SMP witha presentation on the feasibilityof the worksheet 96,87%; There is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the Science worksheet light and optical inquiry model character and students who do not use Science worksheet light and optical inquiry model character; The application of the Natural Science worksheet light and optical characterized by the inquiry model can improve students' understanding of the subject matter of light and optical devices. Improved learning outcomes cognitive aspects including the criteria are; and The use of science worksheets light and optical characterized by inquiry models can develop student character that is within the criteria of culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of interactive multimedia as a learning medium in improving physics learning achievement. This type of research is an experimental design one group pre-test post-test with a quantitative approach. The population in the study were all students of class X semester 2 of SMK Negeri 2 Ende which consisted of 13 classes in 5 skill programs totaling 421 people and the sample of the research was 26 students of TKJ class XC as many as 26 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study are achievement test techniques. Data were analyzed by t test. The results showed that the use of interactive multimedia (MMI) as a learning medium can improve physics learning achievement. This is evidenced by the value of t count ˃ t table or 3.491> 1.708 with the degree of freedom to list the distribution t is dk = N-1 = 26-1 = 25, and the significance level is 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) whether there is an effectiveness of the STAD learning model for solving science problems (Physics); (2) is there an effectiveness of the Jigsaw learning model for problem solving in Natural Sciences (Physics); and (3) whether there is an effectiveness of the STAD and Jigsaw learning models in solving science (Physics) problems. This research is a quantitative study using quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of students in class VIIIa and VIIIb of SMP Negeri 2 Ende, while the object of this study was the influence of STAD learning, the influence of Jigsaw learning, and the problem-solving ability of students. Data collection is done through tests and observations. The research instrument consists of objective tests for problem solving skills. Data analysis using one sample test and different test. The results showed that the problem-solving ability of students at SMPN 2 Ende experienced differences between the three learning above. Can be seen in the total difference in the STAD method of 7552,000; for the Jigsaw 8438,000 method; and for the conventional model of 4405,000. This proves that the Jigsaw type cooperative model is more effective than the STAD type cooperative model and conventional learning model, while the STAD type cooperative model is more effective than conventional.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the student learning motivation in terms of DiSTAD learning model. This study is a quantitative research using a quasi experimental design. The population in this research were all VIII grade students of Satap Pong Meleng Manggarai Junior High School which consisted of two class. The sample taken by sampling saturated, because all population were taken (summary not exceed 30 people per class.  The data analysis used the descriptive analysis and inferensial analysis. The results show that: the implementation of DiSTAD learning model gives a significantly positive effect to the student learning motivation, and it is shown by the output value of the t-test (5,531) at the significance level of 0.00 (significance < 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh pembelajaran STAD terhadap: (1)kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, (2) sikap ilmiah peserta didik, (3) kemampuanberpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatifdengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih signifikandan positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dibandingkan denganpembelajaran konvensional, dan hal ini ditunjukkan dengan output nilai t sebesar 5,83 dan2,71 pada taraf signifikansi 0,00 (signifikansi < 0,05); (2) penerapan pembelajaran kooperatiftipe STAD mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih signifikan dan positif terhadap sikap ilmiahpeserta didik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan hal ini ditunjukkandengan output nilai t sebesar 7,47 dan 4,85 pada taraf signifikansi 0,00 (signifikansi < 0,05);(3) penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mempunyai pengaruh yang lebihsignifikan dan positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah peserta didikdibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional, dan hal ini ditunjukkan dengan outputnilai F sebesar 4,184 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,00 (signifikansi < 0,05)

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pemanfaatan sifat rugi lengkungan pada seratoptik ragam tunggal maupun ragam jamak sebagai sensor. Deskripsifisik dan sifat penjalaran cahaya untuk kedua jenis serat tersebutdibahas beserta formulasi rugi lengkungannya. Pengukuran rugilengkungan untuk serat ragam tunggal dan ragam jamak dilakukandengan cara melewatkan cahaya pada serat yang dilengkungkan padabermacam diameter lengkungan dan cahaya luarannya diukurmenggunakan power meter. Untuk serat ragam tunggal digunakansumber cahaya laser diode dan variasi diameter lengkungan dari 18hingga 6 mm; sedangkan untuk serat ragam jamak digunakan sumbercahaya LED dengan variasi diameter lengkungan dari 50 hingga 5 mm

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan menggunakan uji anova (anova dua jalur). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research), dimana menekankan pada elaborasi interpretasi tanpa bergantung pada pengukuran secara numerik. RAL merupakan rancangan yang paling sederhana diantara rancangan percobaan yang baku. Keuntungan menggunakan RAL antara lain: perancangan dan pelaksanaannya mudah; analisi data relatif mudah; fleksibel dalam hal jumlah perlakuan; terdapat alternatif analisis nonparametrik yang sesuai. RAL juga memiliki beberapa kekurangan yaitu: tingkat presisi percobaan mungkin tidak memuaskan kecuali unit percobaan homogen; hanya sesuai untuk jumlah perlakuan yang tidak terlalu banyak; pengulangan percobaan mungkin tidak konsisten (lemah) apabila unit percobaan tidak homogen. ANOVA sebenarnya sebuah bentuk yang lebih umum dari t-test yang sesuai digunakan dengan tiga atau lebih kelompok (juga dapat digunakan dengan dua kelompok). Tujuan dan pengujian anova dua arah ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari berbagai kriteria yang diuji terhadap hasil yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Persepsi siswa terhadap Google Classroom pada pembelajaran selama masa pandemi Covid-19 kelas IX SMPN 1 Ende tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. (2) Motivasi belajar IPA siswa selama masa pandemi Covid-19 kelas IX SMPN 1 Ende tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas IX yang berjumlah 210 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 115 siswa yang diperoleh dengan cara menggunakan rumus slovin. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket penggunaan Google Classroom dan angket motivasi belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif statistik kuantitatif. Berdasarkan perhitungan SPSS, dengan jumlah siswa 115 orang dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Persepsi belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan Google Classroom dikategorikan tinggi dimana, terdapat 2% siswa dengan kategori sangat tinggi, 59% siswa dengan kategori tinggi, 39% siswa dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan tidak ada siswa yang mendapat kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. (2) Tingkat motivasi Belajar IPA di masa pandemi Covid-19 dikategorikan sedang dimana, terdapat 3% siswa tingkat motivasi sangat tinggi, 53% siswa memiliki tingkat motivasi tinggi, 44% siswa memiliki tingkat motivasi sedang, sedangkan tidak ada siswa yang mendapat motivasi rendah dan sangat rendah

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether digitizing 3T schools in the era of the covid 19 virus pandemic. The type of research used is survey research using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research design is Ex-Post Facto. The subjects in this study are schools included in the 3T region (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped) in Indonesia, especially in the East Nusa Tenggara region. The object of this study was 40 3T school teachers in four districts on the island of Flores (Nagakeo Regency, East Manggarai Regency, Manggarai Regency, and West Manggarai). The results showed that the number of respondents who answered in the agree category got the highest number, namely 19 people with a percentage of 47%. In the strongly agree category, there were 16 people with a percentage of 40%, the category did not agree. Five people with a percentage of 13%, and none. Who chose the category strongly disagree (percentage 0%). From this, it can be concluded that school digitization has a positive effect during the COVID-19 pandemic; this can be seen from the number of teachers in the 3T region who chose the agreed category, namely 19 people (47%)
