Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement of the science of process skill and scientific attitude of students through the implementtation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL).  This research used in this study is Classroom action research using the Kemmis Mc Taggart model which consist of two cycles each cycle through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of this study shows that the implementation of learning in cycle II was more increased compared to the learning process in cycle I. this is indicated by the value of N-Gain Sciences process skills in the first cycle of 0.432 while in the second cycle increased to 0.70; and N-Gain for scientific attitudes in cycle I was 0.252 while in cycle II it increased to 0.392

Abstract

The study aimed to find out the effect of online learning using Smansa Ende online on motivation to learn physics and the effect of online learning using Smansa Ende online on physics learning outcomes, to students in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Ende for the academic year 2020/2021. Quantitative research was used to examine the causal relationships that were not treated by researchers and the occurred activities. The data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation. The population was 71 students of class XI MIPA 4 and XI MIPA 5 at SMAN 1 Ende, with a research sample of 36 students of class XI MIPA 5. The hypothesis testing using linear regression t-test showed that H1 and H2 were accepted, with a significance value of H1 being less than 0.05 (0.026 0.050). Then, there was an effect of online learning using Smansa Ende Online on learning motivation. Meanwhile, the significant value of H2 was less than 0.05 (0.007 0.050). Then, there was an effect of online learning using Smansa Ende Online on learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and practicality of the solar system practicum module using augmented reality-based paper merge cube. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of this study were 3 validators consisting of 1 lecturer as a media expert and 2 subject teachers as material experts, as well as 20 students. The data obtained were expert validation and a questionnaire sheet for students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the development of the solar system practicum module using a paper merge cube based on augmented reality had a very feasible category (82.3%) for content feasibility, a decent category (79.16) for language eligibility, and a very feasible category (87.5) for the feasibility of presentation, while the practicality of the module is in the very practical category (87.2%).

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pembelajaran fisika selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di SMA Negeri 1 Kuwus. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan naturalistik dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi dalam pengumpulan data penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru fisika, dan siswa kelas XI IPA tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Objek penelitian pembelajaran fisika di SMA Negeri 1 kuwus selama masa pandemi Covid-19.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Kuwus, Pembelajaran fisika di SMA Negeri 1 Kuwus, dilaksankan secara daring dan luring. Pembelajaran secara daring, tidak dilaksanakan sepenuhnya karena adanya kendala fasilitas yang menunjang pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran secara luring dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode shift. Keaktifan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran fisika belum maksimal. Pembelajaran fisika selama pandemi Covid-19 ini, siswa kesulitan dalam ketersediaan fasilitas yang menunjang pembelajaran daring, kesulitan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran, dan kurang aktifnya siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan guru kesulitan dalam hal penyampaian materi dan untuk mengetahui motivasi dan minat belajar fisika siswa.Hasil belajar siswa kelas X tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 di masa pandemi Covid-19 mencapai KKM. Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of describing the use of physics laboratory facilities in terms of the availability of facilities and the use of physics laboratories in learning. The type of research used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis. The data analysis techniques used were documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data collected was then analyzed using 3 activity lines, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the data analysis, the following conclusions were found. First, the availability of physical laboratory facilities is sufficient. Second, the use of physics laboratories in physics learning is currently effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the steps of applying the discovery learning model in physics learning. This type of research is qualitative with the type of case study. The subjects in this study were physics teachers and students of class X SMKN 2 Ende, totaling 33 students. The object of this research is the application of the discovery learning model. Data collection instruments using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the discovery learning model in physics learning for class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Ende was in accordance with the syntax. The syntax of the discovery learning model consists of stimulation, problems, data collection, data processing, verification, generalization.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of developing character-based phisic based character inquiry models for junior high school students. This research used the type of Research and Development (R&D) with Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results show: worksheet light and optical instruments based on inquiry models are included in the criteria are very suitable to be used as a study guide for students of class VIII SMP witha presentation on the feasibilityof the worksheet 96,87%; There is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the Science worksheet light and optical inquiry model character and students who do not use Science worksheet light and optical inquiry model character; The application of the Natural Science worksheet light and optical characterized by the inquiry model can improve students' understanding of the subject matter of light and optical devices. Improved learning outcomes cognitive aspects including the criteria are; and The use of science worksheets light and optical characterized by inquiry models can develop student character that is within the criteria of culture.

Abstract

Termodinamika adalah cabang ilmu fisika yang mempelajari perubahan energi, panas, dan kerja dalam suatu sistem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dimana yang dikembangkan adalah modul ajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 3D+1I (Defining, Designing, Developing, and Implementation). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan sangat valid dengan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 85% dan praktis untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Critical Thinking (CR) is one of the most important thinking skills and is a widely recognized measure of the quality of student learning. The literature reviewed shows the importance of integrating critical thinking (CR) into curriculum content and teaching methods in a tiered manner. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, to map where CT is taught, which countries have research trends on CT, how to teach and assess CT, and the influence of technology on CT. Documents were analyzed comprehensively in the Scopus database for the 2018-2023 period. There are five stages of SLR research, namely determining keywords, searching for data, selecting documents, validating data, and analyzing data. Only documents in the form of articles published in the journals used were analyzed. The results of the study indicate that critical thinking skills must be taught and trained at the school level, both in elementary schools, secondary schools, and in certain courses. CT teaching is carried out by choosing the right model or strategy, for example using a modified inquiry model or STEM approach strategy. Assessment is carried out using instruments such as critical thinking skills tests or observation rubrics that have been standardized or modified to obtain accurate results.
