<![CDATA[The creation of the regional song "Mbali Mbojo Ku" was motivated by the desire to express love, longing, and pride for the birthplace of Bima (Mbojo) through music as a medium of cultural expression. This song was created to maintain the existence of the language and regional cultural values that are starting to be eroded by modernization, as well as to rekindle the spirit of love for local identity among the younger generation. Through a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, this research focuses on the meaning, function, and social context of the song's creation. The results show that "Mbali Mbojo Ku" represents a deep emotional bond between the creator and his birthplace, where the poetic Mbojo lyrics and touching melody depict longing, pride, and commitment to preserving Bima culture. This song not only serves as a medium of personal expression, but also as a unifying tool for the Mbojo community and an educational tool that strengthens awareness of the importance of preserving local cultural heritage amidst the currents of globalization.]]>
