Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat sosial dan emosional anak melalui pendampingan kegiatan seni gambar berbasis komunitas di Kelurahan Dodu. Latar belakang pengabdian ini berangkat dari keterbatasan aktivitas nonformal yang mampu memfasilitasi interaksi sosial dan ekspresi emosional anak secara aman dan partisipatif. Pengabdian dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan penguatan prinsip Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), yang menempatkan anak dan komunitas sebagai subjek aktif serta memanfaatkan aset sosial yang ada. Program diikuti oleh 20 anak usia 6–12 tahun dan dilaksanakan dalam empat kali pertemuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terstruktur, catatan reflektif pengajar, wawancara singkat dengan orang tua, serta penilaian pra dan pasca pendampingan terhadap indikator sosial-emosional anak. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada indikator interaksi sosial, kepercayaan diri, ekspresi emosi positif, dan partisipasi dalam kelompok setelah mengikuti pendampingan. Keberhasilan program dipengaruhi oleh desain kegiatan seni yang kolaboratif, pendekatan partisipatif, serta keterlibatan orang tua dan lingkungan masyarakat sebagai aset pendukung. Disimpulkan bahwa pendampingan kegiatan seni gambar berbasis PAR–ABCD efektif sebagai strategi penguatan perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak dan berpotensi direplikasi dalam program pendidikan nonformal berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the decreasing number of children's songs with educational and aesthetic value, while young children are more familiar with popular adult songs that are less relevant to their world. This condition creates a need for musical works that can foster sensitivity, appreciation of nature, and aesthetic values ​​from an early age. The purpose of this research is to create a children's song entitled "Colors of the World" as a learning medium that connects children with nature through a fun and meaningful musical experience. The research uses a creation method that emphasizes the creative process as a form of scientific and artistic exploration, through the stages of conceptual observation, musical design, lyric and melody creation, implementation, and evaluation of the work. The results show that the song "Colors of the World" successfully presents a holistic learning experience by combining educational, aesthetic, and interactive elements. Simple lyrics, cheerful rhythms, and elements of movement and handclaps can increase children's enthusiasm, strengthen language, motor, and social-emotional skills, and foster a sense of awe and gratitude for the beauty of God's creation.

Abstract

The creation of the regional song "Mbali Mbojo Ku" was motivated by the desire to express love, longing, and pride for the birthplace of Bima (Mbojo) through music as a medium of cultural expression. This song was created to maintain the existence of the language and regional cultural values ​​that are starting to be eroded by modernization, as well as to rekindle the spirit of love for local identity among the younger generation. Through a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques, this research focuses on the meaning, function, and social context of the song's creation. The results show that "Mbali Mbojo Ku" represents a deep emotional bond between the creator and his birthplace, where the poetic Mbojo lyrics and touching melody depict longing, pride, and commitment to preserving Bima culture. This song not only serves as a medium of personal expression, but also as a unifying tool for the Mbojo community and an educational tool that strengthens awareness of the importance of preserving local cultural heritage amidst the currents of globalization.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low creativity of students in Arts and Culture learning at SDN 06 Kodo, Bima City. Learning that is still centered on the teacher causes students to be given less opportunity to explore ideas and innovate in their work. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the Discovery Learning learning model on increasing the creativity of fifth grade students in Arts and Culture subjects. The type of research used is a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects were 14 fifth grade students. Data collection was carried out through practical tests and creativity tests covering aspects of refinement, flexibility, uniqueness, and idea development. Data were analyzed using normality tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results showed an increase in the average student score from 75.00 in the pretest to 90.00 in the posttest. The peered sample t-test produced a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results.
