Abstract

Sexual violence in early childhood continues to increase and is a phenomenon that hurts the Indonesian generation. Sexual violence experienced in early childhood has a serious impact on their growth and development, such as physical damage, trauma, stress, depression to loss of opportunities to continue life because they are victims of murder. Community Service (PKM) aims to mitigate through information services and Group Guidance to improve the skills of early childhood children to avoid sexual violence through parents. The target group is mothers who have early childhood. PKM activities are carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning includes need assessment activities at the service location, including surveying the place of activity, coordinating with community leaders, namely RW and RT, and managing administration up to the RT level. Implementation activities start from perception, providing information services on mitigating sexual violence against early childhood, and conducting Group Guidance to explore the problems of target groups. The last activity is to conduct qualitative evaluations and conclude results thematically. The results of the final interview showed that the target group was satisfied because the service material was by the problems and anxieties they experienced. Target groups reveal the information provided is very useful in preventing their children from sexually violent behavior both from outside and from the family environment.

Abstract

Efforts to minimize the impact of landslides could be conducted by figuring out the mechanism of landslides so that mitigation could be prevented. Focusing on detailed mapping which potentially causes landslides should be increased continuously and entered into a database that is used for information on village profiles where it is usefully built up in the future. Mapping of landslides involved communities participating who are represented by the Community of Disaster Response (MASTANA) that needed to be developed in villages with huge landslides potentially. Landslide mapping is most important due to the source of maps that had been issued by the Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG) ESDM has a small scale to reach village territory. The result shows that only MASTANA members prepared when a landslide occurred when it could be predicted based on a visual observation. Initial detection of landslides potential and notes on Geographic Information System are used to an information about landslides spread out.

Abstract

Exchange rate data is a collection of information about the exchange rate the foreign currency which collected by time. Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) is a well-known time series analysis. Several assumptions that need to be checked before running the ARIMA model are stationarity, normality, and white noise. B-spline regression is a method of modeling time series data without considering assumptions. This research aims to create a forecasting model for Rupiah exchange rate against US Dollar using B-spline regression. The B-spline regression model was generated with a combination of degrees two to four and a maximum of four knots. After that, the optimal model is selected using the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) score. The performance of the selected model is validated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) values. The optimal degree is 3 (quadratic) and the optimal number of knot points is two-knot points with an AIC value of 857.8322 and a MAPE value of 0.0148376. The best model is:

Abstract

In recent years, the popularity of e-cigarettes has increased rapidly, especially among teenagers and young adults who consider them a safe alternative to tobacco cigarettes. However, these products still contain harmful substances, while many products on the market do not list adequate health warnings. This indicates potential violations of consumer protection and underscores loopholes in legal oversight that allow business actors to ignore these obligations. The lack of clarity of labels and misleading advertisements poses health risks that consumers are not aware of, especially for the younger generation who are vulnerable to these promotions. This study examines the legal responsibility of business actors in fulfilling health labeling obligations in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and Government Regulations related to addictive substances. With a normative juridical method, this study assesses the regulation of labeling e-cigarette products and the need for stricter policies. The results of the study are expected to provide policy recommendations to improve regulations and increase supervision, so that consumers' rights to health information are fulfilled and the e-cigarette industry is more responsible in prioritizing public health.

Abstract

Legal protection concerning information security and personal data in Indonesia continues to evolve. While regulations such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and Personal Data Protection regulations exist, their enforcement and effectiveness are still limited. Weak law enforcement, coupled with low public awareness, pose significant challenges to protecting e-commerce consumers. Additionally, the rapid advancement of technology often outpaces regulatory adjustments, creating a gap in ensuring comprehensive information security. This study employs a normative legal method, utilizing secondary data analysis from legal documents and relevant literature. The findings indicate that while a solid legal framework is in place, the implementation remains insufficient. To address this, adaptive regulatory updates, increased supervision, and enhanced law enforcement are imperative. Furthermore, collaboration between the government, industry stakeholders, civil society, and educational initiatives are crucial in promoting consumer awareness and safeguarding personal data. This holistic approach aims to strengthen legal protection for information security in the e-commerce sector, fostering a safer and more secure digital environment.

Abstract

The study investigates the communication strategy of the Regional Liaison Agency (BPD) of Banten Province in implementing Public Information Disclosure (KIP) policies, motivated by its classification as an "informative" institution in 2021. Using Harold Lasswell's communication theory, this descriptive qualitative research employs observation, interviews, and documentation analysis, analyzed through Miles and Huberman's interactive techniques. The findings reveal that BPD's strategy involves appointing Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID) as communicators, segmenting messages according to KIP Law requirements, and tailoring media use to audience characteristics. BPD utilizes websites, social media, brochures, and public information desks to disseminate information, achieving effective outreach and audience engagement. Challenges include limited budget allocation, insufficient human resources, misperceptions about BPD's role, and the agency's location outside the Banten Province, which hinder communication efforts. The study concludes that while the implemented strategies are effective, addressing these barriers is essential for optimizing public service delivery and enhancing institutional accountability. This research contributes to the literature on policy communication, emphasizing the critical role of strategic communication in governance.

Abstract

The school administration system manages several things, such as the management, storage, and use of facilities and infrastructure items, which have been done traditionally. In contrast, the management must be well structured so that integration with information technology is needed. In previous studies, there were many areas for improvement in the asset information system, one of which was the use of traditional methods such as waterfall which had weaknesses in user flexibility and took a long time to process. Therefore, that a more relevant and accurate method is needed in its completion. SD Khaijah Surabaya built a facilities and infrastructure asset information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which offers a more adaptive and interactive solution because it allows the development of rapid prototypes and continuous evaluation of the system. The results of this study show that building an asset management information system can simplify the process of managing infrastructure assets, improve data accuracy, and assist in making decisions related to asset management. The implementation of this system is expected to significantly improve organizational performance in terms of asset management, while system testing using the Black Box method shows accurate results and using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method manages to get a precise score of 80. The average person gives a score of 5 on the assessment of the questionnaire distributed to stakeholders.
