Abstract

Maimoon Palace is one of the tourist attractions and cultural heritages that has high potential, both in Medan and Indonesia. However, in the digital era, Maimoon Palace does not have an Information System which can give information about its availability, while it does not provide online ticketing as well. This underlies the writer to create Web Based Tourism Information System of Maimoon Palace. This research uses direct observation method, interview with related parties, and literature studies related to the issues. Web Based Tourism Information System of Maimoon Palace is generated by PHP and HTML programming language and MySQL database. This system uses design thinking system development method. Design Thinking is the method utilized by the writer to solve the problem with user-centered approach to define the problem, thenceforth to conceptualize ideas as a solution to produce a system. This information systems can be used to give the information about Maimoon Palace availability to the visitors and can be used to book the ticket online. This system is expected to be useful as information and media promotion for tourism potential in Medan. Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of a web-based academic and non-academic achievement information system at the Student Affairs and Alumni Office of Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. The system is designed to address issues in managing student achievement data, which was previously handled manually, often resulting in data inaccuracies, delayed reporting, and a lack of convenience in accurately monitoring student achievements. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, the system development is conducted quickly and iteratively through planning, design, and prototype construction phases that allow users to test it directly. RAD was chosen because it enables results that meet user needs in a relatively short time and facilitates adjustments throughout the development process. This information system allows the student affairs office to record, process, and report student achievement data more efficiently. Additionally, the system includes features for searching and tracking achievements, assisting the university in analyzing and evaluating student accomplishments in both academic and non-academic areas. The results of this research show that the developed system can provide accurate, real-time data and contributes to the improvement of service quality at the Student Affairs and Alumni Office. It is expected that this system will enable more transparent, effective student achievement data management and support the enhancement of graduate quality.

Abstract

PT. Dian Ratna Abadi is a company engaged in human resource services. At this time, inventory data collection is still done manually using Microsoft Office applications. Data collection in this way can make it difficult for employees to collect data and produce reports, so that it is not effective and efficient. The research method used is a descriptive method using observation data collection techniques, interviews and literature studies. This research is an Applied Research. The purpose of this research is to design a goods inventory application to provide convenience in processing data to obtain the desired information. From the research conducted, it produces an inventory system that can be used without any errors or errors in the system

Abstract

Has several interesting tours, one of which is Ara Garden Tourism, a place in the form of an artificial tourist park located in Bagan Batu, Riau, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency. However, ticket purchases can only be made by buying directly on the spot when entering the tourist spot. This can make it difficult to order tickets because of the large number of visitors. So here the e-ticket application design will be made using the RAD method to analyze and design applications for online ticket booking at Ara Garden Tourism. In this design using dart and fluter programming languages as application development, using VCS (Microsoft Visual Studio Code) as a code editor in creating the application. Therefore I use a database that functions to store and manage data through SQL commands or queries, applications that have more complex data processing are postgreSQL. The Ara Garden tourist ticket application has been created and the prototype of the application was tested by sending a questionnaire to 20 respondents with an average score of 4.021 and most of the responses from potential users said that the ticket prototype was easy to understand and use. So here we will try to create an e-ticket application design. E-tickets can make it easier for buyers or visitors to get them because they don't need to come directly to the tourist attraction.

Abstract

Traditional batik as a cultural heritage contains the value of local wisdom or cultural heritage (heritage) and the art of batik is one of the cultural products known from our ancestors. The sales of batik made by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the country are still very potential, and try to expand their sales distribution abroad through export channels. In today's digital era, introducing batik to the world is quite easy. Just post it on social media, people will see it, but that doesn't mean they will understand. Therefore, to help Batik SMEs players in providing an understanding of batik, we need a system in which the system, apart from providing information about batik, can also be used for buying and selling transactions. The development of this system uses the waterfall method and system design uses UML. The result of this research is a website-based application that can be used by batik craftsmen in providing information about batik and also can make buying and selling transactions online.

Abstract

Background: This research makes a new contribution by proposing a framework for technology integration in Islamic education based on the values of the Quran and Hadith. The integration of technology in Islamic education presents both challenges and opportunities. Methode: The research method of this study is qualitative with a systematic literature study model. The data collected was analysed using thematic analysis techniques to identify relevant patterns and themes. Furthermore, this study developed a prototype of Islamic value-based digital implication, which was trialled in several educational institutions. Main Findings: This research reveals that technology, particularly through e-learning platforms, mobile applications, and social media, has brought about significant transformations in Islam by increasing accessibility, interactivity, and flexibility, particularly in education. Contribution:  This research makes an important contribution by proposing a framework for technology integration in Islam that is based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. The proposed framework encompasses not only technical and pedagogical dimensions, but also places significant emphasis on ethical and spiritual aspects. Conclusion: The research also offers concrete solutions to address challenges such as the digital divide and the loss of traditional values through technology-based curriculum design aligned with Islamic principles, thus providing both academic and practical benefits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kinerja waktu proyek jalan tol dari STA 6+820 hingga STA 7+168 di area Bandara Dhoho Kediri dan menganalisis dampak penerapan Building Information Modeling (BIM). Pembangunan jalan tol ini penting untuk meningkatkan konektivitas ke Bandara Dhoho Kediri. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti biaya awal implementasi dan resistensi perubahan, BIM berkontribusi positif dengan meningkatkan koordinasi dan perencanaan. Namun, masalah keterlambatan proyek belum sepenuhnya teratasi. Analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan keterlambatan proyek sebesar 31,9%, terutama karena gambar konstruksi dan pasokan material. Untuk optimalisasi penggunaan BIM, perlu perbaikan perencanaan proyek, rencana kontingensi yang komprehensif, alat manajemen proyek yang canggih, dan integrasi sistem yang efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to describe ICT-based learning media, visual intelligence, Islamic Religious Education, and innovation of ICT-based learning media towards visual intelligence in Islamic Religious Education. This article is also expected to contribute to the world of education and also to further relevant researchers. This study uses library research. Research sources are obtained from various scientific sources, namely books, journal articles, and various other sources related to research studies. The use of learning media for students must first require educators to know the characteristics of their students, including students who have visual intelligence. Educators must adjust the learning style of these students which tends to refer to the intelligence that students have. Educators can apply learning media by entering the world of students. Entering the world of students in question is that educators in delivering material adjust their teaching style to the learning style of their students. Educators can utilize Microsoft Powerpoint and Lectora Inspire which can present images and abstract materials to be more concrete in front of students, such as text represented by images on their slides. Educators can utilize videos to present moving images that are able to present actual objects with the original spatial layout of the object or duplicate the actual object, such as animated videos.

Abstract

AbstractThis study proposes a design for a Plant Anatomy course by adapting Marzano's instructional framework to develop students’ information analysis and processing skills. The focus of the Plant Anatomy course is determined because it requires complex cognitive processing to integrate knowledge about plant tissue structure with changes in plant structure based on adaptation strategies in their habitat. This study employs a quantitative method, utilising information analysis ability tests and process skills tests as its instruments. The data were analysed descriptively using an assessment rubric. The design is then tested on 106 undergraduate students in Biology Education taking the Plant Anatomy course during data collection at a university in West Java, Indonesia. The results showed that the Marzano-based plant anatomy course design could facilitate students' information analysis and processing skills due to a conducive learning environment, the utilisation of prior knowledge, the development of thinking potential, the delivery of meaningful information, contextual learning, and cooperative learning. This study further proposes using this design when studying materials with a high concept interconnection.Abstrakkerangka pembelajaran Marzano guna mengembangkan keterampilan analisis dan pemrosesan informasi mahasiswa. Fokus pada mata kuliah Anatomi Tumbuhan dipilih karena materi ini memerlukan pemrosesan kognitif yang kompleks untuk mengintegrasikan pengetahuan tentang struktur jaringan tumbuhan dengan perubahan struktur tumbuhan berdasarkan strategi adaptasi di habitatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan analisis informasi dan tes keterampilan proses. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan rubrik penilaian.  Desain ini kemudian diuji pada 106 mahasiswa program sarjana Pendidikan Biologi yang mengambil mata kuliah Anatomi Tumbuhan selama pengumpulan data di sebuah universitas di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pembelajaran Anatomi Tumbuhan berbasis Marzano dapat memfasilitasi keterampilan analisis dan pemrosesan informasi mahasiswa melalui lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, pemanfaatan pengetahuan awal, pengembangan potensi berpikir, penyampaian informasi yang bermakna, pembelajaran kontekstual, dan pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian ini lebih lanjut mengusulkan agar desain ini digunakan dalam mempelajari materi yang memiliki keterkaitan konsep yang tinggi.

Abstract

PT Kemuning Mitra Persada is a company engaged in daily savings and loan cooperatives with many branches across Java and Sumatra. The recruitment and human resource management processes are still manual, leading to inefficiencies and data errors. This study aims to design and implement a web-based HR management information system to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in recruitment, performance management, and payroll processes. The research employs observation, interviews, literature study, and system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system is tested using the Black Box Testing method. Results indicate that the system accelerates administrative processes, reduces data errors, and improves the accuracy of HR management reports.
