Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of using an Accounting Information System in financial management at BKAD UPK Kecamatan Pringgarata Kabupaten Lombok Tengah using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) approach. A descriptive qualitative approach is applied to gain a deeper understanding of users' perceptions of the system. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis examines Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, and Behavioral Intention to Use in relation to the use of the Accounting Information System. The results indicate that although the system is easy to use, its usefulness remains low due to limitations in recording all transactions and presenting complete, accurate, and real-time integrated financial information. This affects users' overall attitude and intention toward the system, which tend to be negative, indicating that the current system is still ineffective for financial management. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need for a more modern, integrated, and real-time system to enhance financial management effectiveness at BKAD UPK Pringgarata District, Central Lombok Regency

Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of technology requires the business world to compete competitively, effectively, and efficiently. PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk, is one of the companies engaged in the banking sector that has placed technology in achieving its goals. The company uses the workflow integrated system engine (WISE) application to process home ownership financing applications. The author identifies problems or weaknesses in the WISE application related to its performance, security, reliability, and functionality. This study aims to describe data in the form of tables and graphs. To determine the maturity level criteria for the WISE application. This study uses a quantitative research type, namely research that produces findings that can be obtained using statistical methods. This study focuses on the maturity level of the WISE application using the COBIT 4.1 framework. The average maturity score of each subdomain is at level 3.5, and its maturity index is in the range of 3.51 to 4.5, namely 3.51 to 4.5 at maturity level 4 (four), namely, managed and measurable. Regarding the results of the information system control maturity level expected in this study, the author obtained a score of 4.8 with a maturity index of 4.51 - 5.00 or level 5 or Optimization. Accounting information systems have become widely used in various organizations or institutions, both private and government. Remember that banking data is very sensitive because it is related to financial data, which needs to be supported by a reliable data security system. The vulnerability of information systems can result in data hacking by irresponsible parties. This qualitative research examines and analyzes audits of technology or IT-based information systems in Indonesian BUMN, in this case, Bank Syariah Indonesia, which is based on Risk Management with the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) framework1,2,3. The COBIT framework has been trusted as a reliable framework for assessing an organization's IT governance. This research found that Bank BSI has managed risk well in its IT-based system.

Abstract

This study investigated the integration of Instagram analytics into the information systems used by MSMEs in the pastry industry, with a focus on engagement trends. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the research identifies a benchmark engagement rate of 16.5%, calculated from the midpoint between peak festive engagement and regular-day averages. Findings show a sharp increase in engagement leading up to Eid, exceeding the benchmark, followed by a noticeable decline post-event. In contrast, regular day engagement remains consistently below the benchmark. These patterns highlight the impact of cultural events on consumer behavior and the difficulty of sustaining interest afterward. The study concludes that integrating social media data into enterprise systems enables MSMEs to optimize marketing strategies and time promotions more effectively and respond better to seasonal trends, offering a practical model for data-driven decision-making in small businesses.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah mengubah berbagai sektor, seperti administrasi pemerintahan dan pembangunan daerah. Salah satu inovasi utama adalah konsep Desa Cerdas, yang menggunakan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup, pengelolaan sumber daya, dan partisipasi warga. Salah satu alat penting untuk transformasi ini adalah Sistem Informasi Desa (SID), yang membantu pemerintah desa dalam mengelola data administrasi dan layanan publik, serta mendorong transparansi dan akuntabilitas. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi SID di Pekon Waluyojati, Pringsewu, dengan fokus pada tantangan dan potensi manfaat untuk pengembangan Desa Cerdas. Menggunakan desain fenomenologi deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menerapkan Teori Implementasi Van Meter dan Van Horn, yang mengevaluasi standar kebijakan, alokasi sumber daya, komunikasi, dan kondisi sosial-politik. Penelitian menemukan bahwa SID telah meningkatkan pelayanan publik tetapi menghadapi tantangan seperti kekurangan sumber daya manusia, kebijakan yang sudah usang, dan ketidakefisienan komunikasi. Meskipun menghadapi hambatan ini, SID memiliki potensi besar untuk mendorong pembangunan berkelanjutan di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Modernization in teacher training emphasizes updating instructional strategies, curricula, and methodologies to meet contemporary educational needs. Integrating innovative technologies enhances teaching effectiveness and student engagement, while competency-based approaches support differentiated and inclusive instruction. In this article highlights of information and communication technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in transforming education by facilitating interactive learning, distance education, and administrative efficiency. Additionally, ICT supports remote and self-paced learning, offering accessibility and flexibility, particularly in higher education. However, excites of challenges such as digital literacy gaps, inadequate infrastructure, and reliance on technology over traditional pedagogical methods persist. In rural areas, limited access to technology and internet connectivity exacerbates educational and economic disparities, restricting learning opportunities and digital engagement. Addressing these challenges requires targeted policies, infrastructure development, and continuous professional training to maximize ICT’s potential in education.

Abstract

The protection of sensitive notarial information requires optimally integrating traditional and innovative security techniques. This paper analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of established methods like paper documents and seals alongside emerging solutions like encryption and blockchain for safeguarding data. A comparative framework evaluates approaches across dimensions of cost, usability, resilience and compliance. Recommendations are provided for layered security combining physical and digital methods to holistically address evolving threats. The analysis finds that synergistically blending time-tested and novel tools can enhance notarial information protection.

Abstract

Financial Literacy, Investment, and Digital Financial Information Training at SMAS Garuda Palangka Raya. Increasingly complex economic dynamics encourage people to look for additional sources of income outside their main job. Investment has emerged as a popular alternative. However, being successful in investing is highly dependent on an individual's level of financial literacy, investment experience, and risk profile. This community service aims to increase public awareness, especially among students and teachers at SMAS Garuda Palangka Raya, who often use online shopping applications and pay-later payment schemes. The digital transactions habits among students and teachers that are not balanced with basic knowledge about financial management and investment can trigger excessive consumer behavior. With 31 participants from SMAS Garuda Palangka Raya, the team successfully trained and gave information about how to budget, manage income and also invest using a fintech application. The training evaluation concluded that participants had improved their understanding of financial management and investment. The majority of participants also understand the function of an emergency fund and have a sense of how to deal with investments with irrational levels of profit and how to deal with debt. By implementing financial management, investment, and digital financial information literacy training, the training participant will be able to develop more responsible financial behavior and avoid debt traps, and also in order to prevent high-risk financial practices, such as dependence on high-interest loans to meet consumer needs.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the digital literacy and entrepreneurial capacity of youths in Nagari Koto Tuo, Harau District, by introducing a Population Information System and training on Digital Marketing for household products. Through a series of workshops held at the computer laboratory of Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh, participants were taught basic data management, website creation, and strategies for marketing local products through digital platforms. This program provides solutions to the lack of a structured population data system and the limited market reach of household businesses. The outcomes include the development of a prototype village population database system and enhanced participant capability in online marketing.

Abstract

The integration of information technology in education presents significant opportunities to improve access, equity, and quality in learning. However, in developing countries like Timor-Leste, the process faces complex challenges that are both infrastructural and cultural. This study aims to explore the key barriers to implementing educational technology in Timor-Leste through a structured literature review. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, 15 core publications were selected from a total of 225 sources retrieved from the Dimensions database. Thematic analysis identified five central issues: limited technological infrastructure, inadequate teacher readiness, restricted access to digital resources, cultural resistance, and weak institutional collaboration. Findings reveal that rural and border regions suffer from minimal internet connectivity, lack of digital devices, and low digital literacy among educators. Moreover, cultural factors—such as the perception of technology as an external influence and the undervaluing of local wisdom—create resistance to educational innovation. The study highlights the importance of integrating local cultural values into digital curricula, implementing targeted ICT training for teachers, and promoting inclusive, multicultural education. Policy implications suggest that long-term investment in infrastructure, community-based strategies, and formalized partnerships between institutions are essential to ensure successful digital transformation in education. The findings provide a framework for designing culturally responsive and sustainable education policies in Timor-Leste and similar contexts.

Abstract

This paper explores the educational policies in the Philippines that focus on the integration of information technology (IT) in public schools. It analyzes the core government initiatives, such as the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP), the Public Schools of the Future in Technology (PSOFT) Act, and the establishment of the Public Education Network (PEN). These policies are examined for their objectives, implementations, and impact on educational equity and quality. Furthermore, the study compares these initiatives with similar efforts in other countries, such as Indonesia and Malaysia, to highlight best practices and implementation gaps. The paper also addresses the challenges faced in the implementation of these policies and provides recommendations to optimize the digital transformation of the Philippine educational system.
