Abstract

Low reading comprehension among first-grade students presents a significant educational challenge. This study addresses this issue through a Research and Development (R&D) approach to design, validate, and evaluate the effectiveness of an e-big book based on the local wisdom of the Prophet's Maulid Tradition, assisted by the Global Method. The development process followed an eight-stage adaptation of the Borg and Gall model, involving first-grade students and teachers from SDN 1 and SDN 3 Kedungsuren, Kendal, as well as media and material experts for validation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and pre-post tests, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Paired Sample T-Tests, and N-Gain calculations. The results demonstrated high feasibility, with validation scores of 92% from the media expert and 93% from the material expert. Furthermore, the product proved highly effective in improving students' narrative text comprehension, as indicated by a significant increase in learning outcomes and a Normalized Gain score of 0.7508, which falls into the "high effectiveness" category. This study concludes that the developed e-big book is a valid, practical, and effective instructional medium that successfully integrates local culture and pedagogical theory to enhance early literacy skills.

Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) play a crucial role in information management and decision-making processes in an organization. This study aims to identify the main characteristics of MIS, factors that influence its implementation, and the benefits that organizations can obtain from using this system. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive-critical approach to analyze various academic references related to MIS. The results of the study indicate that MIS can improve operational effectiveness, accelerate access to information, and strengthen organizational competitiveness. However, in its implementation, there are various obstacles such as limited resources, resistance to change, and challenges in data security and integration. Along with the development of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), MIS in the future is predicted to become more complex but more optimal. Therefore, the right implementation strategy and active involvement of stakeholders are the main factors in the success of MIS implementation.

Abstract

An electronic document is electronic information created, forwarded, sent, received, or stored in digital, electromagnetic, optical, or similar format, which can be viewed, displayed, and/or heard through a computer or electronic system. This document can be in the form of text, sound, images, or various other formats that convey meaning. The crime of altering electronic documents that causes harm to another person can be categorized as a cybercrime, particularly related to the manipulation of electronic information. The research method used is the normative juridical method, namely research that prioritizes library data, namely research on secondary data. The secondary data can be in the form of primary, secondary, or tertiary legal materials. Based on the research results, the author concludes that criminal liability for perpetrators of criminal acts intentionally and without authority to change electronic documents belonging to others that result in harm to others, can be enshrined by the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). The ITE Law regulates criminal sanctions for various actions related to electronic data manipulation. The relevant articles in the ITE Law related to illegal alteration of electronic documents include Article 27, Article 30, Article 32, Article 35, and Article 65. These articles regulate: a) Article 27: Prohibition on distributing, transmitting, and/or making accessible electronic information that contains content that violates morality, gambling, insults, or defamation; b) Article 30: Prohibition on unauthorized access to other people's computers or electronic systems; c) Article 35: Prohibition on falsifying electronic data; d) Article 65: Prohibition on using personal data that does not belong to them. Meanwhile, the sanctions, the perpetrator can be subject to criminal sanctions in the form of imprisonment and/or a fine, the amount of which varies depending on the article violated and the level of loss caused.

Abstract

This study explores the practice of information distribution carried out by networked local television in Lampung, focusing on news production activities at Delta TV Lampung. The research aims to examine the collaboration patterns between Delta TV, other local television stations, and regional government institutions. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Delta TV Lampung functions as a centralized production hub, managing the entire news production process from planning to distribution to its media partners and contracted government agencies. This collaboration model not only enhances operational efficiency but also addresses the challenges posed by limited resources in the digital broadcasting era. Through a streamlined production system, Delta TV Lampung has maintained its position as a credible and competitive local media outlet. Moreover, the partnership creates a mutually beneficial ecosystem: partner stations receive ready-to-air content, while Delta TV gains reputational value and production sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid development of information technology has opened up opportunities for the emergence of new threats to national security, one of which is the hacking of information systems. Cyber attacks not only cause economic losses and disruption of public services, but also pose a serious threat to Indonesia's digital sovereignty. In this context, state intelligence has a strategic role as the frontline in detecting, analyzing, and counteracting various forms of threats to the country's strategic information systems. However, strengthening the state intelligence function in the face of hacking crimes still faces various obstacles, both from the aspects of regulations that have not been adaptive, weak inter-agency coordination, to limited technology and human resources. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of strengthening state intelligence in counteracting hacking of information systems, and formulate the urgency of national legal policy reforms that support the formation of a strong, integrated, and professional cyber intelligence system. Using normative legal research methods supported by conceptual and case approaches, this study concludes that strengthening state intelligence requires regulatory reform, institutional integration, and investment in technology and human resources to maintain the nation's sovereignty in the digital era. Keywords: State Intelligence, Hacking, Digital Sovereignty, Cyber Security, Legal Policy.

Abstract

Recently, simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) emerged as the best solution for resource-constrained internet of things (IoT) networks. SWIPT ensures the provision of parallel information and power transfer in the network. Under the SWIPT model, many researchers use two well-established protocols: time switching (TS) and power splitting (PS). TS is better than PS when the signal is weak but inserts an extra delay because energy harvesting (EH) and information decoding (ID) happened two different times. However, PS protocol performs poorly in hard situations with low signal strength even if it conducts EH and ID simultaneously. Hence, this paper proposed a new model called mixed-SWIPT (MSWIPT) which combines TS and PS protocols in an intuitive manner. Further, this work proposes a multi-source EH mechanism in which the receiving node harvests energy from multiple sources which is different from single source, i.e., desired node’s radio frequency (RF) signal. The multiple sources include non-participated Neighbor Node’s RF signal, sink node and co-channel interference and noise. Under the routing, the node selection is formulated as maximum link capacity problems and solved through several constraints. Extensive simulations on proposed model prove the superiority in terms of EH and energy efficiency from the state-of-the-art methods.
