Abstract

The development of students in mastering the skills of the 21st century is certainly inseparable from the role of educators in understanding the various skills and the use of digital technology associated with it, supported by knowledge management process and knowledge sharing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the knowledge management process and knowledge sharing on teacher literacy skills at State Vocational High Schools (VHSs) in West Java.  To collect data, a questionnaire was used. This research used a quantitative approach through descriptive and verification research. Based on the characteristics of the variables, a survey using a 7-point Likert scale questionnaire was conducted.  This research was purposely administered to 162 teachers from 54 VHSs at 27 cities/regencies in West Java. The Partial Least Square Structural Path-Modeling (PLS-PM) was used to test the hypotheses. The research outcomes revealed that the knowledge management processes and knowledge sharing have a positive effect on teacher literacy skills. Information literacy is important for building literacy skills, but achievement is relatively low. The teacher needs to align these skills with more appropriate directions so that teachers’ literacy skills in the learning process can be more effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi adanya penerapan social distancing yang mengharuskan mahasiswa melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran secara online dalam rangka mencegah penularan COVID-19. Pada saat pandemi COVID-19 membuat pengguna media e-learning meningkat pesat, hal tersebut membuat kebijakan work from home dari pemerintah sehingga seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas berganti menjadi pembelajaran online, termasuk di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. E-learning yang banyak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran online adalah aplikasi zoom. Platfom ini mudah digunakan oleh pengguna laptop atau smartphone. Sebagai platfom yang banyak digunakan tentu perlu dilakukan pengukuran kebergunaan dari aplikasi zoom ini. Kebergunaan ini dapat diukur dari hasil presentase kelayakan yang diperoleh berdasarkan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pengguna. Pada penelitian ini kuesioner menggunakan metode use questionnaire berisi serangkaian pernyatan yang telah dikelompokan dalam beberapa aspek use yaitu ease of use (kemudahan pengguna), ease of learning (kemudahan belajar), satisfction (kepuasan), dan usefulness (kegunaan). Hasil yang diperoleh untuk setiap aspek usability yaitu aspek ease of use diperoleh kelayakan 86%, aspek ease of learning diperoleh kelayakan 74%, statisfaction diperoleh kelayakan 85%, dan easy of use diperoleh kelayakan 82%, berarti aplikasi zoom sangat layak digunakan oleh dosen karena apliaksi ini mudah digunakan, mudah dipelajari, memberikan kepuasaan dan berguna sebagai media e-learning di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Manajemen atau administrasi perkantoran adalah bagian dari manajemen tetapi memiliki karakteristik dan ilmu yang berbeda dari manajemen pada umumnya. Akan tetapi, hingga saat ini masih banyak yang tidak dapat membedakan antara ilmu manajemen dan manajemen perkantoran di mana manajemen perkantoran hanya dianggap sebagai clerical work. Sehingga, terdapat beberapa kasus yang menandai adanya kebingungan atau ketidaksinkronan antara Program Studi di bidang manajemen dan di bidang manajemen perkantoran. Oleh karena itu, kebutuhan untuk dapat mengidentifikasi ilmu manajemen perkantoran terbilang darurat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi ilmu manajemen perkantoran dilihat dari pendekatan filsafat ilmu: epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan instrumen Focus Group Discussion dengan panelis yang memiliki pengalaman dan kompetensi dalam ilmu manajemen perkantoran di dunia akademik dan dunia pekerjaan atau industry. Hasil dari studi ini adalah terciptanya model kerangka ilmu manajemen perkantoran dilihat dari unsur epistemologi, ontologi, dan aksiologi.

Abstract

The present study is motivated by the belief that employee loyalty is an important factor that helps companies to survive in an increasingly fierce business competition. To generate employees’ loyalty, good workplace spirituality and job satisfaction are very much required. The aim of this study is to analyze the loyalty of Generation Y employees as the effect of job satisfaction and work spirituality at private universities in Garut Regency, Indonesia. To this end, the study utilized a descriptive and verification approach in which the data were collected from 132 respondents using the interviews, questionnaires and surveys. The respondents were chosen by using saturated or census sampling techniques. Then, the collected data were analyzed by using path analysis with SPSS 24.0 software. The results showed that of all the analyzed research variables, the criteria were quite high. Work spirituality and job satisfaction showed a significant effect on employee loyalty. The findings also indicated that the employees who feel the spiritual values at the workplace tend to stay in the organization. In addition, a fair and decent remuneration system makes the Generation Y employees feel satisfied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memprediksi efek langsung dan tidak langsung variabel motivasi wisatawan terhadap keterikatan tempat. Pengaruh tidak langsung dimoderasi oleh peringkat hotel berbintang dan kualitas interaksi layanan karyawan hotel. Sampel berjumlah 320 responden yang merupakan wisatawan nasional dan model penelitian ini diuji melalui structural equation model. Sedangkan peringkat hotel berbintang sebagai variabel mediasi menggunakan analisis multi-group PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi secara langsung memberikan nilai positif terhadap keterikatan tempat, sedangkan kualitas interaksi layanan memediasi hubungan antara motivasi wisatawan dan keterikatan tempat. Analisis multi-group menemukan bahwa hubungan antara konstruk berbeda menurut peringkat bintang hotel. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi manajer hotel dan citra destinasi suatu daerah wisata.

Abstract

In today's world, where globalization is rapidly increasing, critical thinking, rationality, and tolerance are essential for personal and interpersonal well-being. The study aims to analyze the impact of teaching methods, self-concept, and assessment on students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in economics in senior high school (SHS). The research subjects involved 220 economics students from three SHS. The study used a quantitative survey method with the use of a designed questionnaire and used ordinal logistic regression to find the correlations between variables. The findings suggest that teaching methods, self-concepts, and assessment have a significant impact on students' understanding of economics subjects by promoting higher-order thinking skills. To improve Ghana's educational system and meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, the study also underlines the necessity of HOTS-oriented assessment in classroom instruction. Therefore, the study recommends the use of various instructional strategies, such as open-ended questions and practical problem-solving tasks that encourage students to manipulate unfamiliar or novel situations, rather than relying on recall or restatement of previously taught material. The implication of this study is that curriculum developers should take into consideration a well-structured question in the curriculum that will elicit students' high-order thinking skills.

Abstract

Guru mismatch (GMs) dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan vokasi di Indonesia merupakan tantangan yang serius. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah model pelatihan terintegrasi yang dapat mempersiapkan guru vokasi dengan keterampilan yang sesuai dengan tuntutan profesi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (RD), melalui empat tahapan, yaitu pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan, dan validasi model. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) terhadap guru SMK, dosen, dan praktisi. Model ini melibatkan enam pelatihan dalam satu kesatuan, meliputi workshop bidang keahlian, magang industri, sertifikasi kompetensi keahlian, workshop bidang kependidikan, microteaching, dan guru model. Secara konseptual model ini telah tervalidasi, namun masih memerlukan validasi secara empirik untuk mengukur efektivitas penggunaannya.

Abstract

The rapid transformation of education requires performance and innovation. This study aimed to examine the interconnectedness between organizational commitment (OC), job satisfaction (JS), and employee performance (EP) in higher education in Indonesia. EP is measured by how well you handle critical emergencies, how well you solve creative problems, how well you manage work stress, how well you handle uncertain and unpredictable work situations, and how well you adapt to other people. OC is measured by the strong desire to be an employee, the desire to work hard, acceptance of organizational values, acceptance of organizational goals, and work loyalty. JS is measured by the work itself, wages, promotion opportunities, supervision, and colleagues. The population in this study were all 150 employees of the Archive Bureau in Educational Colleges in Indonesia. In this study, researchers used the saturated sampling method as the basis for sampling, where all 150 members of the population were used as samples. A deeper comprehension of the connections between the variables was achieved by quantitatively applying structural equation modeling based on AMOS 21. The findings indicate that organizational commitment and job satisfaction positively influence employee performance in higher education in Indonesia. Indeed, job satisfaction among employees can enhance their performance. This study helps organizations perform better during COVID-19, particularly in higher education. The researcher suggests that additional researchers conduct larger-scale research on improving performance in areas like innovation and productive behavior.

Abstract

Axiology in the context of financial accounting for debt and receivables transactions involves the application of ethical principles, moral values, and philosophical values in the management and reporting of debt and receivables. In the Islamic perspective, the axiology of financial accounting for debt and receivables becomes a profound study by applying Sharia principles as the main guidance. One of the fundamental principles that serves as a foundation is the prohibition of usury (riba). This research employs a qualitative research method in the form of a literature review with a systematic reviews approach. The data used in this research refer to books and research articles. Data search is conducted using keywords such as "Axiology of Debt and Receivables in the Philosophy Perspective, Debt and Receivables in Islam." The practice of debt and receivables is regulated in Sharia to assist those facing difficulties and provide assistance to those in need. However, the presence of usury can undermine the good intentions behind this assistance, as those facing difficulties must pay additional money from their borrowings. Axiologically, debt and receivables involving usury are considered undesirable.Aksiologi dalam konteks akuntansi keuangan pada transaksi utang piutang melibatkan penerapan prinsip-prinsip etika, moral, dan nilai-nilai filosofis dalam pengelolaan dan pelaporan utang piutang. Dalam perspektif Islam, aksiologi akuntansi keuangan utang piutang menjadi kajian yang mendalam dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip syariah sebagai pedoman utama. Salah satu prinsip utama yang menjadi pijakan adalah larangan riba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dalam bentuk literature review dengan pendekatan systematic reviews. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merujuk pada buku dan artikel penelitian. Pencarian data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kata kunci, seperti “Aksiologi Utang Piutang Utang Piutang dalam Perspektif Filsafat Aksiologi Utang Piutang dalam Islam”. Praktek utang piutang diatur dalam syariat untuk membantu menyelamatkan orang-orang yang mengalami kesulitan dan memberikan bantuan kepada mereka yang membutuhkan. Namun, keberadaan riba dapat menghilangkan niat baik dalam tolong-menolong ini karena pihak yang mengalami kesulitan harus membayar tambahan uang dari pinjamannya. Secara aksiologis pun, utang piutang yang melibatkan riba di dalamnya dinilai tidak baik.
