Abstract

Employees receive routine services and compensation in the form of salaries as part of their work performance through company operations. However, several companies still rely on manual payroll processing, including those that participated in a recent business exhibition. One such company continues to use Microsoft Office applications to manage payroll data manually. This outdated method significantly slows down the process of generating employee payslips and frequently leads to calculation errors in employee compensation. Furthermore, the Human Resources Department (HRD) is required to manually verify all data before integrating the final salaries of permanent employees into the monthly payroll report. This process is not only time-consuming but also increases the risk of human error and administrative inefficiency. As a response to these challenges, the company developed a web-based employee compensation information system. This system is designed to automate the entire payroll process, from attendance tracking and allowance calculation to deductions and payslip generation. With simultaneous salary data entry and report generation, the system improves business performance, enhances accuracy, and reduces processing time. The final outcome of this study is an automated payroll system that adheres to predefined business rules and allows for easy future updates. Most importantly, it helps reduce human error in payroll calculations by up to 60%, offering a more efficient and reliable payroll management solution.

Abstract

IA is a critical field in shielding information and information structures from unapproved use, divulging, interference or demolition. Technical controls applied in IA provide ways of preventing such acts and managing the risk but since aspects of operational environment and people’s attitudes significantly influence IA as an exercise, it represents a critical factor. This paper on IA focuses on behavior and culture that affect human decision making process, Cognitive Bias, and emotions, security behaviors and structures. It addresses the aspect of how a user will prefer convenience to security, get to provide information to an unauthorized user and or will not follow most organizational policies due to ignorance of the detected securities put in place. The final factors that the paper analyses as the factors influencing security within an organization include leadership engagement, training, security awareness and security culture. Lastly, information is presented about social engineering as an attack approach as well as measures to prevent them, such as, for example, using multi-factor authentication. The paper insists that strategy for IA cannot do without including technical solutions as well as a consideration of regard human behavior and practice as a method of unfolding a security culture across organizations. In addition, by applying the evaluation framework in this paper, organizations enhance on technical and human IA approach, and reduce risk elements, familiarize people with new hostile forces emerging to threaten secret information.

Abstract

Where Artificial Intelligence is most active today, there are quite a few applications of AI in the sphere of healthcare – never before have diagnostics, treatment, decision making have been so precise, effective, and individual. However in the actual application of artificial intelligence in healthcare systems, one is bound to encounter a number of issues such as cybersecurity and issues to do with secure access to information. The most vulnerable type of personal health information in this regard is the electronic personal health information as patient data can be hacked though data breach, ransom ware, or alteration of the algorithm used by the AI system to the detriment of the patient in question and that of the system in general. Further, there is an enforceable obligation for integrated and smart access to knowledge for clinicians and researchers and strong patient demand for patient protection and patient data privacy. In this opinion presentation, this review looks at the two elements of cybersecurity conflict as well as information availability in an AI-focused healthcare environment. They announce threats of raised levels of security risks, network vulnerabilities, and data and algorithms manipulation. The paper also includes the possibility of combating such challenges, such as; AI security tools, encryption and authentication, and integrating federated learning, the block chain, and priory-preserving AI. Further, it has recognized the importance of the expansion of consideration about how data is passed from one entity to another with no disruptions, the patient-level approach to data management, and cybersecurity training for the, respectively, healthcare workforce.

Abstract

The sunlight adoption of portable devices in individual and business activity has made a higher urgency of appropriate mobile information assurance policies. This article explores key approaches to securing mobile devices and sensitive information, focusing on three major components: Mobile Device Management (MDM), mobile security best practices, mobile cloud computing. MDM solutions are ways through which organizations can gain control in mobile devices with secure policies, distant management, and compliance checks. In addition, best practices for the physical security of mobiles, which include the use of non-disclosed passwords, the enabling of the encrypt or and the use of virtual private networks or other such security tools go further in safeguarding mobile environments against elements like malware and intrusion. Besides, cloud computing supports portable information assurance by providing backup, recovery, and security measures like encryption, and ID confirmation. Solutions based on cloud technology allow to implement effective data sharing and processing, as well as to control data security and compliance with the requirements of existing legislation. Altogether, these measures constitute an integrated security strategy of mobile, it provides protection to sensitive data, makes them accessible, and help in managing or eradicating threats in the connected environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the existence and usage of Indonesian equivalents for information technology terms among university students. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research utilized purposive sampling to select participants. The sample consisted of 31 students from the 2023 cohort of the Indonesian Language Education program. Data were collected through a questionnaire listing commonly used information technology terms, for which students were asked to provide their Indonesian equivalents. The responses were analyzed using simple percentage calculations and then described qualitatively to illustrate the extent of usage of Indonesian terms among the students. The results show that (a) overall, 70% of the students were unaware of the Indonesian equivalents of the terms, and fewer than 50% could provide accurate equivalents for any of the 14 terms presented, and (b) the popularity of foreign information technology terms is one of the factors contributing to students' reluctance to learn or use their Indonesian counterparts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the accounting information system used in the process of cash receipts and disbursements at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Gunungsitoli Branch Office. The accounting information system functions as a tool to record, manage, and convey financial information systematically in order to support the smooth operation of the company. In practice, the company has implemented a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as a guideline for financial activities. However, it has not yet been supported by a flowchart, which plays an important role in visually describing the process flow and facilitating task comprehension and execution. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the cash receipt system is carried out through several service units such as Oranger Counter, Oranger Mobile, Post Agents, and Sub-Branch Offices, with recordings based on the Point of Sales (POS) system. Cash disbursements are made for essential operational needs and are submitted through a fund request form by each division, approved by the branch head, and processed through the Entry Pra-NPP system by the head office. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implemented accounting information system has not fully met the criteria of an ideal system. This is due to the absence of a visualized workflow in the form of a flowchart that could clarify work procedures, accelerate understanding, and reduce the potential for procedural errors. Therefore, the preparation and implementation of a flowchart are strongly recommended as a complement to the existing SOP.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the acceptance of mobile wallet applications in Indonesia by incorporating Information Quality and Compatibility as external factors within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative approach was employed, and data from 208 respondents were analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that both Information Quality and Compatibility have a positive and significant influence on Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use. Furthermore, these two variables also significantly affect Continuance Intention to Use, which subsequently impacts the Actual Use of mobile wallets. Overall, Information Quality and Compatibility contribute 56% to Perceived Usefulness, 52.4% to Perceived Ease of Use, and 43.8% to Continuance Intention to Use. These findings offer valuable insights for application developers seeking to enhance mobile wallet adoption in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Based on the result of basic health research Riskesdas in 2018, as many as 23,7% of women aged 14-25 years nationally suffer from anaemia. About three to four out of ten adolescent girls, or about 32% of adolescent girls have anaemia. This study aims to determine the effect of providing video content about iron tablets on the understanding of adolescent girls at SMP N 1 Sragi.Methods: This research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design consisting of two groups, namely experimental and control. The experimental group was given an educational video about blood enhancer tablets, while the control group was given a lecture. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The age of the respondents was 13 to 15 years old. The research sample consisted of 67 students. The T-test is used to test data.Results: The average score in the experimental group was 8.76, while in the control group it was 6,45. There was an increase of 2.31, with a p-value of <0.005, which means that there is a significant influence on average before and after treatment.Conclusion: To reduce the prevalence of anaemia, especially in adolescent girls, it is expected that this study will improve the understanding of teenage girls, especially about blood tablets.

Abstract

Education is no longer seen merely as a transmission of knowledge from teachers to students, but as an interactive and dynamic process in which students are positioned as active learners. Progressive teaching methods rooted in the philosophy of pragmatism emphasize experiential learning, contextual engagement, and democratic classroom practices. These principles are strongly aligned with Indonesia’s “Merdeka Curriculum”, which promotes learner autonomy and interest-based education. Furthermore, understanding how students process information through attention, encoding, storage, and retrieval is central to developing effective instructional strategies. This article discusses the theoretical foundations of pragmatism in teaching, practical applications in primary education, challenges in implementation, and how information processing theory informs and optimizes these methods to enhance students’ critical thinking and creativity.

Abstract

Study This aiming For describe utilization of technology media information in learning child age early in Pertiwi Ajibarang Kindergarten Wetan. The method used is study qualitative descriptive with technique data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Subjects study consists of from three teachers and four tens participant educate. Research results show that the teacher has utilizing technology media information like projectors, educational videos, and applications digital learning in activity learning. Use of this media capable increase interest and participation active child during activity ongoing. However Thus, the challenges faced covering limitations device technology and still low digital literacy of teachers. Therefore that, is needed support training and facilities supporters for utilization technology can more optimal and precise target in the learning process at the PAUD level.
