Abstract

The digital age has redefined the role of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) from a traditional administrative tool to a strategic enabler of organizational success. This study presents a systematic literature review of 35 scholarly documents sourced from Google Scholar to examine how HRIS can be designed to be both adaptive and sustainable in the context of digital transformation. The findings highlight three core themes: adaptability, sustainability, and digital integration. Adaptability reflects HRIS responsiveness to dynamic business environments, workforce diversity, and crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Sustainability emphasizes the alignment of HRIS with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, ensuring ethical, inclusive, and long-term value creation. Digital integration illustrates the growing adoption of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and blockchain to enhance HR efficiency and decision-making. The study concludes that the future of HRIS lies in balancing technological innovation with human-centered values to achieve agility, inclusivity, and resilience. It contributes to the discourse on digital HR transformation by mapping key themes, identifying research gaps, and offering practical and policy recommendations for organizations seeking to build adaptive and sustainable HRIS frameworks.

Abstract

Background : Patient loyalty is a crucial aspect of the sustainability of pharmacy services in hospitals. Factors such as drug availability, pharmacy service waiting time, and drug information provision can influence patient satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on outpatient loyalty at RS Islam Al Mucthar Karawang. Method: This research employs a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 96 outpatients were selected using purposive sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test for bivariate analysis and multiple logistic regression for multivariate analysis. Results: Bivariate analysis showed that drug availability (p = 0.012) and pharmacy service waiting time (p = 0.007) significantly influence patient loyalty, while drug information provision does not (p = 0.094). Multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression revealed that, simultaneously, drug availability and waiting time for prescription services affect patient loyalty, while drug information provision does not have a significant influence. Conclusion: Improving drug availability and reducing pharmacy service waiting times can enhance patient loyalty to hospital pharmacy services. Although the provision of drug information did not significantly affect patient loyalty, it should still be improved to support patient adherence in medication use. Abstract

The Length of stay is a crucial indicator in hospital service systems. This study aims to analyze the influence of Lean Six Sigma implementation, the use of information technology, and bed capacity on the length of stay at RS Karya Medika Bantar Gebang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive analytical design. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate tests. The univariate analysis results show that the majority of respondents are aged 20-35 years (59.00%), female (64.10%), and work as nurses (56.40%). Bivariate analysis using Pearson correlation test shows that Lean Six Sigma implementation has a strong relationship with length of stay (r = 0.855, p = 0.000), the use of information technology has a very strong relationship (r = 0.906, p = 0.000), and bed capacity also has a strong relationship (r = 0.838, p = 0.000). Multivariate analysis results using multiple linear regression indicate that Lean Six Sigma implementation (β = 1.583, p = 0.000) and the use of information technology (β = 0.954, p = 0.043) significantly affect the length of stay, while bed capacity (β = 0.505, p = 0.243) does not have a significant effect. The regression model used has an R value of 0.944 and an R Square value of 0.892, indicating that 89.2% of variations in length of stay can be explained by the three independent variables. The conclusion of this study is that Lean Six Sigma implementation and the use of information technology significantly contribute to reducing the length of stay, while bed capacity does not have a direct impact. Therefore, hospitals are advised to further optimize the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and information technology to improve service efficiency. Abstract

Merchandise inventory is something important for companies, especially for retail businesses because merchandise inventory is a component of current assets that has a high level of liquidity, so recording and managing inventory is an important component for retail businesses. Amazon stores sell quite lots of types and quantities of merchandise, and the recording of merchandise inventory is still done manually, making it possible for recording errors to occur which results in inaccurate reports being produced, resulting in inaccurate decision making related to inventory. Besides that, it is also difficult to know the amount of inventory, purchases and sales of merchandise at any time. Based on the problems in the Amazon store, it is necessary to have an information system for recording and managing merchandise inventory, so that it can assist in recording purchases, sales, and making decisions regarding inventory in the Amazon store. The merchandise inventory information system using the average method created can help Amazon stores to record sales transactions, purchase transactions, supplier data, goods data and can produce expected reports such as sales reports, purchase reports, warehouse cards and inventory cards using the average method and reduce the risk of losing data related to the inventory held by Amazon stores.

Abstract

The rising cases of robbery and street crimes in the jurisdiction of Polres Medan Belawan have caused public concern and highlighted the need for an effective and adaptive early detection system. This study aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS) integrated with geofencing technology to map and monitor high-crime areas in real time. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through literature review, field observation, and interviews with local police authorities. The system was developed on two platforms: a web-based application for administrators and an Android-based application for the public. Crime location data were converted into geographic coordinates, and the distance from users’ positions was calculated using the Haversine formula. One calculation result showed a manual distance of 285 meters and a system-generated distance of 290 meters from a high-crime area on Jl. Pelabuhan Raya, with only a 5-meter difference and an accuracy rate of 98.2%. The system automatically triggers alerts when users enter a 500-meter radius from dangerous zones. Black-box testing results confirmed that all system features—such as login, data CRUD operations, map integration, and location-based notifications—functioned properly. The findings demonstrate that integrating geofence technology into GIS significantly enhances early crime detection, accelerates law enforcement response, and raises public awareness. In conclusion, the system proves effective in supporting systematic and real-time crime prevention strategies. The implication is that this approach can be replicated in other urban areas with high crime rates as part of a broader digital security initiative.
