Abstract

This study examines the integration of Islamic economic values and information systems in promoting sustainable tourism, focusing on the resilience of the Baduy community in Banten, Indonesia. Sustainable tourism has emerged as a critical global agenda, requiring ethical, cultural, and technological alignment to ensure long-term socio-economic and environmental benefits. Islamic economic principles, such as justice, balance, and prohibition of exploitation, offer a normative framework for ethical tourism development. Concurrently, information systems play a pivotal role in enhancing tourism management, data-driven decision-making, and cultural preservation. Through a comprehensive literature review of scholarly works published over the last decade, this study synthesizes insights from peer-reviewed journals, academic books, and institutional reports. The findings reveal that integrating Islamic values with advanced information systems can foster community resilience while maintaining cultural authenticity. The Baduy community exemplifies a unique case where traditional values intersect with modern technological approaches to sustain tourism without compromising indigenous identity. This integration also provides practical implications for policymakers, tourism practitioners, and local stakeholders in designing inclusive and sustainable tourism strategies. The study highlights the need for collaborative frameworks that bridge religious ethics and technological innovation in tourism. Ultimately, the research contributes to the theoretical discourse on value-based sustainable tourism while offering actionable recommendations for culturally sensitive destinations.

Abstract

Most mathematics word problems contain real-life context, but not all are relevant to real-life reality. Despite the mathematical solvability of these problems, their contexts may be contrary to the facts in the real world. This study explored the responses of pre-service mathematics teachers while facing the mathematics word problem containing contradictory information within a real-life context. A total of 48 pre-service mathematics teachers from various cohorts participated in this study. The participants were asked to solve a mathematics word problem that was designed to be solvable mathematically but presented a situation that contradicted to real-life context. The findings reveal that while the participants are adept at mathematical procedures, many did not realize and some were confused by the anomalies within the problem context. Only a few of them recognized the contradictory information and stated that the problem was illogical or impossible. This study specifically explores the gap between mathematical solvability and the relevance of real-world contexts in word problems. Most previous research has primarily focused on pre-service teachers’ ability to solve mathematical problems without examining whether they notice the anomalies in the problem’s context. This study emphasizes raising pre-service mathematics teachers’ awareness of the real-life context in mathematics word problems.

Abstract

PT. Top Airconditioner is one of the companies engaged in AC service and air conditioning providers located at Permata Tangerang Blok DA No.11. PT. Top Airconditioner already has a website that contains information about PT. Top Airconditioner, the types of AC service services available along with their prices, but do not have a special website that functions for booking AC service services because currently the process of booking AC service services is still using WhatsApp media. The system that is currently running is not running well because there is still a problem, namely there is no media to store AC service booking request data because currently the request is made using WhatsApp media so that data is vulnerable to being lost and AC repair reports have not been properly documented because the data of the repair results is only recorded using a book. This study uses the PIECES analysis method, RAD development, UML design, and system testing using blakbox testing. This research results in an ac service system that is built using Java, spring boot, for the Front End using react js postgreSql database and its deployment using google cloud platform.

Abstract

PT. Top Airconditioner is one of the companies engaged in AC service and air conditioning providers located at Permata Tangerang Blok DA No.11. PT. Top Airconditioner is currently using an outdated employee attendance system that involves collecting attendance data on paper, which is prone to loss and damage. This leads to delays in data recapitulation and ineffective management. To address this issue, a research was conducted to develop a web-based employee attendance system. The research utilized RAD analysis research method, UML system design, and PHP programming language with MySQL database. The main objectives were to create a system that allows employees to easily record their attendance daily and enables HRD to monitor attendance of employee more efficiently. The result of the research is a web-based employee attendance system that simplifies the process of recording attendance and enhances overall management. This new system will streamline the attendance process for PT. Top Airconditioner and improve HRD's ability to monitor attendance accurately.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology compels small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in service sectors, to adopt digital solutions to improve operational efficiency. OSDIG Store, a smartphone repair service specializing in Apple devices, faces several issues, including manual service tracking, inefficient data management, and lack of structured inventory and financial records. This study aims to develop a web-based information system tailored to the operational workflow of OSDIG Store. The system was built using the Waterfall development methodology, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Key features developed include customer data management, repair tracking, inventory control, and transaction logging. Functional testing was conducted using the Black Box method, while user experience evaluation utilized the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The test results indicate that the system meets functional requirements and delivers positive user experience scores in attractiveness and efficiency dimensions. The implementation of this system streamlines daily operations, reduces service errors, and improves transparency between service providers and customers. This research contributes a practical software solution for SMEs in the service sector and demonstrates the applicability of structured software engineering practices in real-world microbusiness contexts.

Abstract

Freedom of expression is a human right guaranteed by the constitution and various national and international legal instruments. In the era of technological advancement and the rapid use of social media, digital space has become the primary means for people to express opinions and communicate. However, in practice in Indonesia, freedom of expression on social media often experiences conflicts between human rights protections and positive law, particularly Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. Method: Using a normative juridical method with a comparative legal approach and qualitative analysis of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Materials were collected through a literature review, as well as a literature search related to the regulation of freedom presented both from a human rights perspective and the provisions of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law. Conclusion: While Human Rights provide broad protection for freedom of expression, the Electronic Information and Transactions Law sets limits on the dissemination of information, which has the potential to trigger legal conflicts when restricting expression in the digital space. Harmonization is needed between the protections that state freedom and the regulations of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law to ensure that human rights and public security are maintained on social media.
