Abstract

Grocery stores play a vital role in fulfilling people's basic needs, especially in urban and rural areas. However, in operational practice, grocery stores still often face classic obstacles such as inefficient sales management and difficulties in controlling stock items that are prone to expiration. With the support of increasingly sophisticated technology as it is today, information systems are an additional tool that can be used by businesses to market their goods and services online. This research aims to design and develop a website-based sales administration and expired product management information system, which can help problems in grocery stores. The system development method uses the Waterfall method, while the research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and literature studies. The system is built using PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Javascript Bootstrap and applies the FIFO algorithm in managing stock items and system testing using Black Box Testing.

This study aims to analyze the effect of access to information and facilities on student services in the Management Study Program at Muhammadiyah University Mamuju. The background of this study is based on the importance of improving the quality of academic services through the provision of transparent access to information and adequate facilities to create student satisfaction. The research method used was quantitative with accidental sampling technique, involving 95 respondents who were students of the Management Study Program. The research instrument was tested through validity and reliability tests, and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that, partially, the information access variable had a significant effect on student services with a t-value of 2.921 > t-table 1.986 and sig. 0.004 < 0.05. Similarly, facilities have a significant effect with a t-value of 4.162 > t-table 1.986 and sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, information access and facilities have a significant effect on student services with an F-value of 19.350 > F-table 3.095 and sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.296 indicates that the two independent variables are able to explain 29.6% of the variation in student services, while the remaining 70.4% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. This study concludes that access to information and facilities are important factors in improving the quality of student services, although their contribution is relatively weak. Therefore, attention needs to be paid to other factors such as the quality of human resources, organizational management, and service culture to strengthen student satisfaction in the higher education environment

Abstract

The cost of equity is a key factor in corporate financing, particularly in Indonesia’s energy sector, where environmental and financial transparency face challenges due to market inefficiencies and regulatory pressures. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the cost of equity is impacted by disclosure of carbon emissions, earnings management, information asymmetry, leverage, profitability, and firm size. The study employs a quantitative methodology, using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model in Stata 19.5, to evaluate 111 observations from 37 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2021 and 2023. The results demonstrate that profitability, as determined by return on assets, and leverage, as determined by the debt-to-asset ratio, have a major impact on the cost of equity. At the same time, carbon emission disclosure, earnings management, information asymmetry, and company size have insignificant effects. These results, with profitability and company size as control variables, suggest that financial structure and performance strongly shape investor risk perceptions. The study concludes that energy companies should optimize debt and profitability to reduce financing costs and improve environmental disclosure quality to meet investor expectations, contributing to sustainable financing strategies in Indonesia’s energy sector.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has resulted in substantial changes to the organization’s management system, including management accounting. Through the use of digital competency moderation and mediation by the management accounting information system, this study seeks to investigate how managerial performance is affected by digital transformation. This work employs a quantitative methodology using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) analysis technique. The 63 respondents in the sample were managers, proprietors, and organizational leaders of occupational work units, businesses, and MSMEs in Labuhanbatu. Data processing results demonstrate that managerial performance is positively and significantly impacted by digital transformation. An efficient information system increases the influence of digital transformation on enhancing management performance, according to the findings, which also indicate that the management accounting information system acts as a partial mediator in the relationship. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that the relationship between digital transformation and management accounting information systems is moderated by digital competencies, with higher levels of digital capabilities enhancing the efficacy of system implementation. These findings have significant ramifications, as the preparedness of information systems and the digital capabilities of human resources play a major role in how well digital transformation improves managerial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the integration of telemedicine into Health Information Technology (HIT) contributes to the improvement of healthcare quality. The research specifically seeks to identify opportunities, benefits, and barriers associated with embedding telemedicine within digital infrastructures such as Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Health Information Exchange (HIE), and mobile health (mHealth) applications. To achieve this objective, a systematic literature review was carried out using the PRISMA 2020 framework. Relevant studies were retrieved from several open-access databases, including PubMed Central, BMJ Open, BMC Digital Health, JMIR, and the WHO Global Health Observatory. The search was limited to publications appearing between 2019 and 2025. Out of 150 records initially identified, 25 studies met the inclusion criteria after screening and full-text assessment. These studies comprised randomized controlled trials, case studies, reviews, and international health policy documents. The findings reveal five key contributions of telemedicine–HIT integration: improved interoperability, enhanced accessibility, increased operational efficiency, greater patient satisfaction, and better clinical outcomes in chronic disease management. Nevertheless, challenges such as uneven digital infrastructure, data protection concerns, and variable levels of digital literacy remain significant. The study concludes that national policies, adoption of global interoperability standards, and investment in digital health infrastructure are essential to ensure sustainable implementation.

Abstract

Background: Home Visit is one of the healthcare programs at Puskesmas Kemang, serving as a supporting activity for counseling and guidance to obtain data, information, and commitment in resolving patients’ health problems through home visits. Interviews with cadres and nurses revealed that the implementation of Home Visit is still carried out manually, resulting in services that are less efficient and slower. Considering the increasing demand for patient-centered care and the limited use of health information technology at the Puskesmas, an information system is needed to accelerate and streamline the service process with accurate data output. This study aims to design a prototype of a web-based Home Visit information system at Puskesmas Kemang, Bogor Regency. Methods: The study applied the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Waterfall model. Data were collected through interviews and direct observation.  Results: The current Home Visit service is still performed manually without a standardized Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), causing delays and unstructured workflows in registration, examination, and documentation. The designed prototype aligns with service needs and provides a more systematic workflow. Conclusion: The absence of SOPs in the Home Visit program has reduced service efficiency. The proposed web-based information system proves effective in accelerating registration, simplifying visit documentation, and improving the organization of patient records. Thus, this system is expected to enhance the quality of health services at Puskesmas Kemang by supporting the transition from manual processes to standardized electronic systems.
