Abstract

This study is devoted to the consideration of the issue related to the adaptation and adoption of such children in the Russian Federation. The study is based on the questionnaire method. It was attended by 120 parents of children with special needs. The results showed that the majority of respondents are familiar with inclusive education, its principles and goals; 59% of respondents believe that the psychological environment in their school is not good enough for the adaptation of children with special needs. According to 64% of parents, there are also problems with the infrastructure of schools. The minority of parents face the rejection of special needs children by teachers, but the majority face the rejection by their peers. In general, despite all problems and challenges, parents positively assess the idea of their special needs child learning and attending the same classroom side by side with healthy children. According to them, this has a positive effect on the intellectual and mental development of the child. To improve the process, the parents of such children were offered the following recommendations: constant research on the issue, cooperation with other parents of special needs children, attention to children and cooperation with specialists (psychologists and defectologists).

Abstract

Integrating digital approaches into character education in primary schools has become increasingly significant, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This transition involved adopting digital technologies and innovative pedagogical methods to enhance character education amidst the challenges of remote learning environments. Key components included using e-learning technologies and the development of electronic educational resources, which promoted independent student work and supported character development. Despite challenges such as limited digital literacy and device access, character education remained a vital goal, supported by strategies that leveraged online resources and involved parental engagement. Digital game-based learning proved effective in engaging students and fostering a student-centred learning environment, reinforcing its role in enhancing engagement and character development. Integrating digital technologies was crucial for addressing diverse student needs and improving teacher competencies, leading to better educational outcomes. The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia developed a 15-year roadmap to improve educational quality and digital literacy, emphasizing the need for adaptation to a digital society. This study employed qualitative descriptive analysis through a literature review to explore the implementation of digital character education in primary schools. The findings suggested that effective digital character education required role modelling, a supportive environment, and consistent habituation, all essential for nurturing students' character in a digital age.

Abstract

Spinal disorders have been observed to increase during the COVID-19 pandemic. The prevalence of prolonged sitting habits during this period has significantly contributed to the rise in spinal disorders. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), between 250,000 and 500,000 individuals worldwide experience spinal disorders annually. Kyphosis, specifically, is frequently identified in children aged 7 to 11 years. In adolescents, kyphosis may be effectively managed through brace therapy. Although various braces are available in the market, they do possess certain limitations. To address such limitations, a technology named PostureCare has been developed to monitor spinal alignment during brace therapy. This technology enables the plotting of graphs enhanced by Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity within an application, thereby facilitating easier data monitoring for users and caregivers. The objective of this research is to design, test, and further develop the PostureCare application. The methodologies employed in this study encompass a literature review, the design and creation of tools and applications, followed by rigorous testing and evaluation. Testing of PostureCare was conducted on two children, during which gyroscopic sensor data were compared to readings from an inclinometer. The results indicated a cervical sensor deviation of 0.85° and a lumbar sensor deviation of 0.791°. The temperature assessment of the heating element revealed a range between 36°C and 40°C. Additionally, the vibration module was activated when the cervical sensor detected a tilt exceeding 25 degrees. Testing results from both children over a seven-day period demonstrated that the cervical sensor recorded an angle of less than 16°, with no signs indicating the presence of kyphosis. It can be concluded that PostureCare has been validated as a tool for detecting spinal ergonomics that may contribute to the development of kyphosis.

Abstract

Divorce is a problem that is quite complicated and very dilemmatic in people's lives. Although Law Number 1 of 1974 was promulgated and enforced 39 years ago, the reality is that the practice of divorce carried out by the husband is not in front of the Religious Court hearing. In Article 39 paragraph (1) of Law N0. 1 of 1974 states that divorce can only be done in front of a competent court after the court concerned has tried and cannot reconcile the two parties. To carry out a divorce, there must be enough reason, that between a man and a woman they will no longer be able to live in harmony as husband and wife. In fact, in the jurisdiction of the Religious Court of Padangsidimpuan City, there are still many who carry out divorces outside the Religious Court. This research method uses a juridical-normative method. The data sources used include primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. After the data is collected, classified and processed, it will be compiled into a scientific paper. The results of this study show that the factors that cause divorce in the Padangsidimpuan City Religious Court are economic factors, community legal knowledge factors, juridical factors, sociological factors, and customary factors (kinship system dalihan na tolu). The mechanism of divorce is carried out by oral talaq, a written statement submitted to the wife, and secretly without anyone knowing it. As a result of the law that arises, the wife has difficulty getting a new marriage through the Religious Affairs Office (KUA), cannot claim living expenses through the Religious Court, it is difficult to get joint property and has a negative impact on the rights of the child who is the victim. Maslahah's view of the transformation of children's rights after divorce is prone to be ignored because the rights to alimony, education, health, and inheritance rights are not fulfilled. The obligation of parents as protectors and guides for children is good. Children do not receive complete affection from their father and mother.
