Abstract

Medical action consent forms are known to be legal documents in the delivery of healthcare services. However, when they are not well completed, it affects the quality of services and the accountability of an institution. Recurring problems in documentation processes include incomplete data entry, late submissions, and substandard recording; all these increase risks for medical errors and administrative complications. A web-based information system was developed to address these systematic deficiencies using Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. Field observations and structured interviews with healthcare personnel were used as research tools in the design of this system. The development process continued through four iterative phases: requirements planning, user-centered design, system construction, and deployment evaluation. This platform comprises automated validation protocols that prevent incomplete submissions from being accepted into the database until all required fields have been completed by the user; real-time alert mechanisms for missing data fields within a submission; and streamlined interfaces optimized for clinical workflows. Functional testing shows statistically significant improvements in documentation efficiency and completion rates among medical staff documented by the system compared to those not documented by it. The system permits real-time documentation of procedures with lower error margins compared to existing methods plus shorter processing times than existing methods. This study found that RAD-based solutions present feasible approaches toward improving accuracy and speed in medical consent documentation while simultaneously achieving legal compliance and patient safety goals within hospitals. Abstract

In the era of digital and globalization, Management Information Systems (MIS) are the key to modern office work efficiency. MIS supports data integration, rapid decision making, and process automation. However, challenges such as infrastructure, human resources, and work culture still hamper its implementation. This study offers a holistic approach to optimize MIS effectively and sustainably. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing various documents such as books, journals, letters, and digital data. Data is collected from official sources and expert discussions, then analyzed using a content analysis approach. This process includes interpretation, explanation, and drawing conclusions based on written documentation, voice, and images. Management Information Systems (MIS) are important in modern offices to improve efficiency, data integration, and technology-based decision making. With the support of cloud, IoT, and big data, MIS accelerates work processes. However, challenges such as human resources, infrastructure, and work culture require adaptive strategies for MIS implementation to be successful and sustainable. Implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) is very important in modern offices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and real-time decision making. However, technical, human resources, and infrastructure challenges must be overcome with adaptive strategies. With proper planning and integration, MIS can create a productive and competitive work environment, and drive an organization's digital transformation.

Abstract

Background: The increasing adoption of mobile phones among smallholder farmers in Indonesia presents new opportunities to access agrometeorological and climate change information, essential for climate adaptation in rural agricultural areas. Aim: This study examines the extent to which mobile phone ownership influences access to climate change adaptation information among smallholder farmers in East Java. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted involving 7,850 smallholder households. The study assessed the relationship between mobile phone ownership and its use for accessing climate-related information, participating in farmer groups, and conducting agricultural transactions. Logistic regression was applied to identify key determinants of mobile phone utilization. Results: Of the total respondents, 54.4% reported owning a mobile phone. Among them, 46.4% used their phones to access climate change information, 41.4% engaged in buying and selling agricultural products, and 46.4% participated in farmer organizations. Mobile phone ownership and group membership were significantly associated with mobile phone use for agricultural purposes (p < 0.001). Conversely, age and household income were not statistically significant. Notable variations were also observed in relation to smartphone ownership, gender, and educational level, with higher education and female participation linked to increased utilization of phones for climate-related activities. Conclusion: Mobile phone ownership plays a critical role in enhancing access to climate adaptation information and agricultural engagement among smallholders. The findings highlight the potential of digital tools to strengthen resilience and support climate-smart practices. Promoting equitable access to mobile technology, particularly for women and less-educated farmers, is vital for inclusive agricultural adaptation strategies.

Abstract

The deed of inheritance is included in the party's deed. A notary who makes a party's deed, may not enter incorrect (false) information in the inheritance deed he makes, but the party facing the making of an inheritance deed does not rule out the possibility of providing incorrect (false) information. Case No. 259/Pid.B/2015/PN.Cjris one example of a case where a notary is held criminally responsible for entering incorrect (false) information into an inheritance deed. The question is why in this case only the notary is held accountable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the responsibility of a notary in the crime of entering incorrect information in the deed of inheritance case case study No.259/Pid.B/2015/PN.Cjr and find out the legal consequences of an inheritance deed made by a notary based on incorrect information. This study uses a normative juridical approach with a case approach. The case to be studied is case No. 259/Pid.B/2015/ PN.Cjr. The specifications in this study include analytical descriptive and the type of data used is secondary data, with data collection methods including literature studies and documentation studies which are then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the research results it is known that the responsibility of a notary in the crime of entering incorrect (false) information in the inheritance deed in Case No.259/Pid.B/2015/PN.Cjr is based on Article 263 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code and on the fulfillmentThe three elements of error in criminal law, namely:a.the ability to be responsibleDefendant, where at the time of making the deed of inheritancefalseThe defendant is in good health; b. hthe Defendant's inner relationship with his actions which were intentional, where the Defendant's intention to make a fake inheritance certificate was as a basis for making a grant deed and giving power of attorney; c.tthere are no things that abolish the punishment for the Defendant, either as justification reasons or excuses. The legal consequences of an inheritance deed made by a notary based on incorrect (fake) information do not necessarily make the inheritance deed null and void. The aggrieved parties must submit a lawsuit to the court to cancel the deed. If based on a court decision it is stated that the inheritance deed is cancelled, then the legal consequences arising from the cancellation of the inheritance deed are:deed of grants and power of attorneymade under the deed of inheritance by itself null and void. Next becausedeed of grants and power of attorneynull and void, then all forms of legal action against the inheritance of the heir, which is based on the grant deed and the granting of power of attorney become invalid and have no legal force.Keywords: Accountability; Fake; Inheritance.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Management Information Systems (MIS) on organizational decision-making efficiency. It aims to explore how MIS enhances decision-making processes by providing real-time data and comprehensive analytics, aligning with organizational goals, and leveraging advanced technologies like AI and cloud computing. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Surveys were conducted among senior managers and IT professionals across various sectors to gather insights into MIS's practical applications and challenges. Additionally, a review of theoretical frameworks, such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Resource-Based View (RBV), was undertaken to contextualize the empirical findings. The findings reveal that MIS significantly enhances decision-making efficiency by providing timely and relevant information. Real-time data capabilities and advanced analytics enable managers to make informed decisions quickly, improving organizational agility and responsiveness. Empirical evidence suggests that organizations with integrated and strategically aligned MIS report higher decision accuracy and speed. However, the effectiveness of MIS is contingent on contextual factors like organizational culture and user proficiency. Integrating AI-driven analytics and cloud computing further amplifies MIS capabilities, though continuous technological updates are necessary to maintain system relevance and effectiveness. The study underscores the critical role of MIS in modern business environments, emphasizing the need for strategic alignment and integration with organizational goals. Organizations should invest in advanced MIS technologies, comprehensive training programs, and robust data governance practices for optimal outcomes. These investments are crucial for leveraging MIS to enhance decision-making efficiency, fostering more agile and competitive organizations.

Abstract

This research has the following objectives, namely first, to guarantee legal certainty over authentic deeds made by the Land Deed Deed Official (PPA)T against incorrect information on the parties; secondly, to provide legal protection for the Land Deed Making Officer (PPAT) who draws up an authentic deed in the form of a sale and purchase deed based on incorrect information from the parties; third, an example of waiver of rights if it turns out that there is incorrect information from the parties in accordance with Article 51 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. This study uses a normative juridical research approach, and the theory used in this paper is Gustav Radbruch's Legal Certainty Theory and Philip M. Hadjon's Legal Protection. The research results conclude. 1) The deed of the official making the land deed (PPAT) will not have legal certainty if the authentic deed is not in accordance with the applicable provisions or is carried out against the law. 2) Legal protection for the Land Deed Making Officer (PPAT) who draws up a deed on the basis of incorrect information from the parties is only based on the right of refusal, if he does not have bad rights then the right of refusal does not apply. A notarial deed made based on a letter or document from the parties which is known to be fake after the deed is made remains an authentic deed as long as the notary in making the deed meets the formal requirements of a deed is said to be an authentic deed. If the notary commits negligence so that he does not meet the formal requirements of an authentic deed, then the deed made by a degraded notary only has the power of proof as an underhand deed. Notarial deeds that are degraded into private deeds are regulated in Article 41, Article 44 paragraph (5), Article 48 paragraph (3), Article 49 paragraph (4), Article 50 paragraph (5), Article 51 paragraph (4). If the negligence committed by a notary results in losses for the parties, the parties can claim fees, compensation and interest from the notaryKeywords: Certainty; Deed; Protection.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) is focused on designing desktop -based information systems and equipped with Android -based applications for Aiko Laundry. For this Android application is a platform based on a local data base that is specifically designed can be accessed online to help Aiko Laundry in managing and marketing clothing laundry services. With the online booking feature, communication with customer service, and customer testimonials, customers can easily order laundry services, interact with customer service for special questions or requests, and provide testimonials about their experience with Aiko Laundry services. The main purpose of designing desktop and Android application Aiko Laundry Information Systems is to make a useful contribution to Aiko Laundry. Service is carried out by focusing on three special targets. First, designing and developing desktop -based applications and equipped with an Android application based on Aiko Laundry Information Systems. Second, compile a manual guide that provides complete guidelines on the use of Aiko Laundry information systems. Third, presenting presentations and conducting training to the Aiko Laundry Team to ensure a good understanding of the use of information systems. The implementation of laundry service information systems shows significant positive results on operations. An increase in efficiency (reduction of data input time and stock management) and accuracy (reducing errors/losses), has an impact on customer satisfaction thanks to more accurate order status information. Its main achievements include the development and implementation of systems, effective user training, and comprehensive system testing. The benefits that are felt include increasing employee productivity, service quality, and business benefits through the lack of data errors.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Information Technology (IT) has presented challenges and opportunities for higher education institutions in managing academic administrative processes. Academic portals have become essential in supporting various activities, such as enrollment, grade submission, and student communication. However, without proper optimization, these portals often face issues like slow response times, user difficulties, and inadequate features. This study aims to explore how IT can be optimized to enhance the operational efficiency of academic portals, focusing on higher education institutions in South Tangerang. Using a qualitative approach, this research involves interviews with portal administrators, students, and lecturers, as well as case studies at several universities in the region. The findings indicate that integrating advanced IT solutions significantly improves the speed, usability, and overall efficiency of academic portals. Key factors include enhanced server performance, automated processes, and improved user interface design. Optimizing IT in academic portals can lead to substantial gains in operational efficiency, reduce administrative workload, and improve user satisfaction. Recommendations include further technological development and user training to maximize system potential.

Abstract

One of the regions in Indonesia is the Bangka Belitung Islands Province (Babel). In general, the administrative area of ​​Babel province consists of two main islands, namely Bangka and Belitung islands. Apart from that, there are also small islands around it, both inhabited and uninhabited. Among them is the island of Petaling Banjar Village, Kec. Mendo Barat Kab. Bangka Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands. The material used in carrying out this activity is implemented directly to outpatients, in collaboration with the Petaling Community Health Center. The pretest results showed that the majority (76.7%) of respondents had low compliance. In the posttest, the results showed that there was an increase in the number of respondents in the medium category from 23.5% to 33.3%. The conclusion is that there is a change in compliance in the moderate category from 23.5% to 33.3%.
