Abstract

Background: Emergency radiology has an important role. Based on several studies the factors responsible for delayed emergency care mostly involve imaging. All reports underscore the importance of imaging efficiency and the impact of imaging delays, which increase length of stay and exacerbate emergency department overcrowding, further limiting access to care and ultimately affecting radiographic results.Methods: This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach using literature study.Results:One of the problems in emergency services is waiting time as a local imaging barrier. A good RIS configuration is able to describe the workflow in each section, The digital imaging system supports the radiographer's records, including delays in the waiting room, and records of factors affecting scan time. HIS and RIS play a role in increasing patient efficiency and effectiveness. HIS stores, manages and captures information related to patient health activities and statistical data of health organizations. RIS is software that radiology installations use to improve radiological reporting quality and secure patient diagnostic results for years. As well as ensuring a smooth workflow in radiology installations and improving reporting quality.Conclusion: Good RIS integration is able to support the efficiency of emergency patient examinations, optimize patient waiting time and increase patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Background: One variation of pulse sequence used in MRI Brain examination is Diffusion Weighted Image (DWI). In the DWI sequence, the value of 'b' which the operator must choose when setting the parameters, affects the signal intensity. In radiology installations, radiographers often use a 'b' value of 1000 s/mm2 with various pathologies. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of setting the value of 'b' (1000.1500.2000 s/mm2) on image information and to determine the best setting of the three selected 'b' values in generating DWI signals for cases of intracranial tumors.Methods: This research is experimental study. This research uses MR GE 1.5 Tesla. 6 radiographic images were created with three 'b' value settings. Three radiologists then assessed areas of white matter, gray matter, proc. coronoid, basal ganglia and tumor lesions. The results were then analyzed using the Friedman statistical test.Results: The results showed that there were differences in signal intensity and image quality between the three setting values of 'b' with p value < 0.005. The mean rank indicates that the best setting 'b' value in producing high signal intensity in Basal ganglia, Proc. coronoid and tumor lesions is 1500 s/mm2 (Mean rank: 2.75 and 2.42). then for white matter and gray matter the best 'b' value setting is 1000 s/mm2 (average rating: 2.50).Conclusion: There is a significant difference in MRI Brain image information with variations in the "b" values of 1000 s/mm2, 1500 s/mm2 and 2000 s/mm2 with pulse sequence Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) using GE 1.5 Tesla MRI modality in patients with intracranial tumors (p < 0.05). Keyword : DWI , ‘b’ value,  Brain, Tumor, image information

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the People's Online Aspiration and Complaints Service (LAPOR) in the Makassar City Communication and Informatics Service andtheinhibitingfactorsinimplementingthePeople'sOnlineAspirationandComplaintsService (LAPOR) in the Makassar City Communication and Informatics Service. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the People's Online Aspiration and Complaints Service (LAPOR) in the Makassar City Communication and Information Service has not been implemented well. This refers to 5 indicators of complaint management where the only indicators that are good are Justice with the impartial actions of theLAPORmanagementadmininhandlingcomplaintswhiletheindicatorsthatarenotgoodin implementing this LAPOR system are Commitment to resolving complaints and direct socialization of the LAPOR system, Clarity in direct delivery of information about complaint procedures, ease of application of the LAPOR system and quick response in terms of the time period for resolving complaints in accordance with the SOP. The inhibiting factors in implementing the LAPOR system are the lack of human resource competency for each OPD, the absenceofasupervisoryteamthatcontrolsthefollow-uptohandlingcomplaintsinthefield,the lack of people who know about the existence of the LAPOR system, technical obstacles to the LAPOR application such as complicated complaint procedures and applications that are sometimes slow or unresponsiveness and lack of authority from DISKOMINFO Makassar City to intervene in complaints at the OPD

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based cash flow accounting information system to address the issue of manual financial record-keeping still applied at Raudhatul Atfal Khalidya. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which includes stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results show that the system successfully replaces manual processes with digital ones, minimizes recording errors, accelerates reporting, and improves the accuracy and transparency of financial information. The system follows the ISAK 35 standard and generates cash flow reports based on operating, investing, and financing activities. Using PHP and MySQL technology, the system can be accessed flexibly and in real time by authorized personnel. This research provides practical contributions for nonprofit educational institutions to manage finances more effectively.

Abstract

This study aimed to resolve financial management challenges at Haji Iros Restaurant, which stemmed from an inefficient manual bookkeeping system causing discrepancies between predicted and actual income. The research goal was to design and implement an integrated financial management system using Microsoft Access to automate transactions, sales recording, and report generation. The methodology involved conducting surveys and interviews to identify specific problems, followed by the systematic design and development of a relational database system. Key components included tables for menu and transaction data, input forms, processing queries, and automated financial reports. The result demonstrated that the implemented system successfully reduced bookkeeping time and minimized calculation errors. The discussion highlights how the system’s integration ensures data consistency and provides real-time financial transparency. In conclusion, the Microsoft Access-based system effectively improves the accuracy and efficiency of financial management for the restaurant. The impact of this research is significant support of MS’E's digital transformation, leading to strengthened operational efficiency, enhanced financial control, and greater potential for economic growth, aligning with the national theme of strengthening small businesses.

Abstract

A garment business still manages its financial transactions and reporting manually, which often results in difficulties related to accuracy, data inconsistency, and delays in report generation. This research aims to design an accounting information system using PHP and MySQL to support structured, efficient, and accurate financial reporting. The method used in this study is the waterfall development model, which includes stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The resulting system is web-based and allows users to record transactions, manage inventory and vendor data, post to journals and ledgers, generate trial balances, and produce financial position reports in accordance with SAK EMKM. The system also provides a cost of goods sold (COGS) calculation feature. Based on implementation and evaluation, the system significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of financial data processing at Khomsah Kholifah and helps the business owner in decision-making by providing structured, real-time financial information

Abstract

The Internal Quality Audit (IQA) process is a crucial element for maintaining the quality of higher education. However, its implementation at STIMIK Tunas Bangsa Banjarnegara faces challenges, particularly with manual documentation. The use of paper-based forms, decentralized recording of findings, and separate reports often cause delays, data duplication, and difficulty in tracking follow-up actions. This research aims to develop an integrated information system to optimize the IQA process and improve the ease of documentation up to the findings report stage. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through observation to understand the manual workflow and interviews with relevant parties to gather system requirements. The system was developed using the Prototype method and built with the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The research resulted in a system named SIMATIKA (Sistem Audit Mutu Internal Kampus), all of whose features function well based on BlackBox Testing. These features include audit period management, indicator management, user configuration, and audit assignment. The system also received a score of 86% from a user questionnaire, indicating very good feasibility and acceptance. Thus, SIMATIKA successfully optimizes the IQA process at the campus.

Abstract

The Banten Forest Park is the only conservation area in Banten managed by the local government and possesses significant potential for high herpetofaunal diversity. This study aimed to document the diversity and composition of herpetofaunal species within the park. Data were collected using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method combined with exploratory techniques, conducted from June 22 to 23, 2024. A total of 43 individuals representing nine species, seven genera, six families, and three orders (Squamata, Serpentes, and Anura) were recorded. The Squamata order was the most dominant, comprising the families Agamidae, Gekkonidae, Scincidae, and Varanidae, with Sphenomorphus sanctus and Eutropis multifasciata identified as the most abundant species. All recorded species are categorized as Least Concern by the IUCN and are not listed as protected under Indonesian wildlife regulations. The Shannon–Wiener diversity index (H’ = 1.75) indicates a moderate level of species diversity. The findings collectively demonstrate that the habitat within Banten Forest Park maintains adequate ecological integrity to support a diverse community of reptiles and amphibians, underscoring the importance of conserving habitat heterogeneity in tropical lowland ecosystems.

Abstract

Digital transformation is still an ongoing process in health service delivery to improve operational performance and service quality. However, BPJS Kesehatan patient referrals are still trapped in administrative bottlenecks. At Mulia Medika Clinic, staff used to handle BPJS patient referrals manually, so that records were prone to errors and delays in obtaining information. We designed, implemented, and tested a desktop-based BPJS referral information system using Python and Tkinter for clinic operations. The development process followed the Waterfall methodology, which consisted of requirements analysis, system architecture design using Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Entity-Relationship Diagrams as well as Flowcharts followed by implementation and black-box testing validation. The system will manage patient records, referral processing as well as user administration. Automated features include generating referral letters and producing reports. Testing has proven that this system is accurate and efficient—the manual workload has reduced, data traceability has improved, and continuity in the referral service has been maintained. Results prove operational readiness for clinic deployment to enhance administrative efficiency and precision of the referral data. Currently, it runs standalone without real-time database synchronization; hence workflow integration cannot be achieved. Future versions should have direct connections with both clinic management and BPJS databases to allow seamless data exchange without manual synchronization

Abstract

RSUP Persahabatan operates as a teaching hospital supporting clinical education for medical professionals through Specialist Medical Education Programs (PPDS) and medical internships (Coass). The current registration infrastructure exhibits significant operational deficiencies, including recurring data entry errors, compromised information integrity, and dependence on manual reporting via Microsoft Excel. These limitations create administrative bottlenecks and reduce process reliability. To address these challenges, we developed a web-based student registration platform employing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. RAD facilitates accelerated development cycles through iterative prototyping and continuous stakeholder engagement. The platform incorporates automated document validation mechanisms and WhatsApp notification systems triggered upon registration approval. Implementation involved four RAD phases: planning, user design, construction, and cutover. Black-box testing and user acceptance testing validated functional integrity across all modules. Testing results demonstrated zero errors in registration workflows, document uploads, and verification processes. The platform achieved a maximum response time of 2.8 seconds per transaction while supporting concurrent user access. Results indicate measurable improvements in administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and processing speed compared to the previous manual system.
