Abstract

Developments in information technology have a significant impact on a country cyber resilience. Information technology not only increases the effectiveness of communication and information access, but also strengthens the ability to detect and respond to digital threats through the use of artificial intelligence, big data, and multi-layered security systems. However, technological advances also pose risks such as the spread of hoaxes, data theft, and the increasing frequency of cyberattacks, which can threaten political, economic, and social stability. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of various relevant sources to analyze the impact of information technology on Indonesia's cyber resilience. The result indicate that increasing digital literacy, updating cybercrime regulations, and strengthening security infrastructure are important factors in creating optimal cyber resilience. Collaborative efforts between the government, the public, and the private sector are needed to leverage information technology as a strategic opportunity, rather than a threat, to national security and resilience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penggunaan web SaktiNet sebagai media layanan informasi dan komunikasi pelanggan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 30 pelanggan SaktiNet yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket skala Likert yang digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas layanan informasi, efektivitas komunikasi pelanggan, kemudahan penggunaan website, dan kepuasan pelanggan. Validitas instrumen diuji melalui validitas isi menggunakan indeks Aiken’s V, sedangkan praktikalitas dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase. Uji efektivitas dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil pretest dan posttest menggunakan uji statistik paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh butir instrumen dinyatakan valid dengan nilai Aiken’s V ≥ 0,80. Tingkat praktikalitas penggunaan web SaktiNet berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,50%. Selain itu, hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest pada seluruh aspek yang diukur (p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa web SaktiNet efektif digunakan sebagai media layanan informasi dan komunikasi pelanggan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrated data visualization dashboard that presents academic, scholarship, and tracer study information in real time at Politeknik Caltex Riau.(PCR). Data integration is carried out through an API Gateway within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), ensuring that updates from each data source can be displayed immediately on the dashboard. To support effective and intuitive data exploration, the study applies Shneiderman’s Information Seeking Mantra, which consists of three main stages: overview first, zoom and filter, and detailson-demand. The resulting dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of key institutional indicators, offers interactive filtering features, and allows users to access detailed information such as student profiles, scholarship recipients, and alumni employment data. Performance testing using Apache JMeter demonstrates that most endpoints achieve response times below 500 ms, supporting the system’s capability for real-time data presentation. The findings indicate that the dashboard improves data monitoring efficiency, facilitates cross-domain analysis, and supports institutional decision-making based on accurate and timely information. Future enhancements may include the integration of predictive analytics and a more extensive user experience evaluation.

Abstract

The management of information and public services at the pekon level is still largely manual, resulting in delays, inefficiencies, and limited access for the community. This research aims to design and develop a mobile web application that supports improving access to information and administrative services in Pekon Tanjung Rejo. The methods used include needs studies through observation of service processes and interviews with pekon officials and residents, system design using the UML approach, implementation using PHP, Bootstrap, and XAMPP, and functional testing using the black-box method. User Acceptance Testing was conducted on eight participants consisting of three pekon officers and five residents as representatives of end users. The results of the development resulted in four main modules, namely the pekon information page, the administrative dashboard, the community contact feature through the Sapa Village menu, and the officer management module. Functional testing shows that all core functions including authentication, data management, and information delivery are running as specified. User acceptance tests show that the application interface is considered easy to understand, and supports accelerating access to information by the public. However, several obstacles were found, such as limited internet connectivity in certain regions and variations in users' digital literacy that affect the optimal use of applications. This study recommends improving connection stability, improving notification features, and long-term evaluation to assess the impact of applications on the effectiveness of public services at the pekon level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Canva-based information technology as an interactive learning medium to improve learning effectiveness in Vocational High Schools (SMK). The use of Canva allows teachers to design materials that are more visual, engaging, and easily understood by students. Interactive designs produced through this platform are believed to increase learning motivation, active student engagement, and strengthen conceptual understanding in various vocational subjects. This study uses a descriptive approach by reviewing the implementation of Canva in the learning process, including planning, implementation, and student responses to the media used. The results show that Canva makes a positive contribution to learning effectiveness by increasing learning interest, ease of access to materials, and flexibility in content presentation. Thus, the use of Canva is recommended as an alternative, innovative learning medium in vocational high schools to support a more effective and engaging educational process.

Abstract

This research discusses the Implementation of Communication Principles in the Public Relations Strategy of DP3A Bogor City in Disseminating Information on Instagram. The study aims to explain how communication principles are applied in DP3A’s public relations strategy and to identify the challenges faced in disseminating information through Instagram. The findings show that the DP3A Public Relations team implements the principles of communication based on the Theory of Strategic Communication, which include credibility, context, content, clarity, continuity and consistency, channel, and audience capability. These principles are reflected through various communication strategies such as creating informative and interactive content (reels, feeds, stories), utilizing Instagram features (direct messages, comments, story games), and managing audience engagement based on demographic and behavioral analytics. DP3A’s PR also maintains consistency through scheduled campaigns addressing women’s and children’s issues. Overall, the implementation of strategic communication principles strengthens the effectiveness of information dissemination and supports DP3A’s goal of building a positive public image through digital platforms

Abstract

The advancement of digital communication technologies has transformed societal patterns of information exchange, particularly through social media platforms such as Instagram, which enable rapid, visual, and interactive dissemination of messages. In the context of education in remote areas of Indonesia, where access and facilities remain limited, social media offers significant potential as both an information channel and a space for public engagement. This study analyzes how the social community Distrik Berisik employs Instagram as a digital campaign medium to support formal education development through the account @sekolah.tanahair, and examines its role in shaping public opinion and fostering participatory communication. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, with data collected through observation of Instagram content and document analysis of campaign activities. The analysis was guided by New Media Theory and Digital Campaign Theory to explore strategies of information dissemination, the use of Instagram as a medium for public aspirations, and forms of community participation. Findings reveal that Instagram is strategically utilized by District Berisik as both an educational information platform and a participatory space that highlights the realities of schooling in remote regions. Campaign strategies such as defining objectives, crafting persuasive visual narratives, and engaging audiences were found to influence public awareness of educational inequality and encourage broader community involvement, including attention from stakeholders and government actors. This study contributes to digital communication scholarship by demonstrating the role of social communities in leveraging Instagram as a participatory medium for educational campaigns. Its novelty lies in addressing the underexplored use of Instagram for disseminating information and channeling public aspirations in the context of education development in remote areas of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how exposure to information about beauty on Instagram influences the identity transformation of female students at private universities in Yogyakarta. 's discussion focuses on three main aspects,namely: the process of forming a digital identity that is carried out selectively and aesthetically; the role of social validation in shaping self-confidence and self-assessment; and the discrepancy between digital identity and real identity that causes psychological pressure. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collectio techniques through online open questionnaires to ten informants who actively use Instagram and are exposed to beauty content. The analysis was conducted using Goffman's dramaturgy theory, Uses and Gratifications (U&G), and Social Identity Theory (SIT) to understand performative identity practices, social gratification needs, and social comparison processes in the digital space. The results show that female students construct digital identities as ideal images in an effort to gain positive impressions from their audience, but this creates a gap between their online representation and their authentic selves. The study confirms that Instagram functions as a complex space for identity negotiation and highlights the importance of digital literacy and reflective awareness in the use of social media among students.

Abstract

Pelayanan pendidikan merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Setelah diketahui pentingnya data serta informasi pendidikan sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai pegangan dalam menentukan kebijakan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, Direktorat Jendral Pendidikan Islam berusaha dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dari sistem pengelolaan data-data yang ada di lembaga pendidikan islam sistem pengelolaan data pendidikan islam atau biasanya disebut dengan Education Management Information System (EMIS) melalui Surat Keputusan Ditjen Pendis Nomor 5974 Tahun 2019 yang berisikan pengelolaan data dan sitem informasi pendidikan islam. Emis adalah bagian pengelolaan sistem informasi yang dipegang oleh Direktorat Jendral Pendidikan Islam yang berisikan data-data kumpulan dari pendidikan islam, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, peserta didik, dan data pokok pendidikan yang mana data tersebut diperoleh dari satuan pendidikan. Data-data tersebut diperbarui terus menerus secara priodik. Emis bisa dibuka oleh orang-orang yang memiliki tanggung jawab atasnya seperti pihak-pihak yang memiliki kewenangan seperti pihak administrasi madrasah, pihak kementerian agama kabupaten, pihak kantor wilayah (kanwil) kementerian agama provinsi, serta pihak direktorat jendral pendidikan islam sendiri. Dengan adanya Education Management Information System (EMIS) diharapkan data-data yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan dapat dikelola dengan baik serta dapat menunjang dalam pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektifitas pengelolaan emis di madrasah maupun di kementerian agama Kabupaten Lamongan. Bukan hanya itu saja, dengan adanya penelitian ini juga dapat diketahui manfaat serta kendala-kendala dalam pengaplikasian Education Management Information System (EMIS) sehingga untuk kendala yang ada diharapkan agar segera teratasi. Penelitian kali ini menerapkan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of calculus in optimizing the performance of computational-based information systems. In this context, calculus is used to solve problems related to algorithm efficiency, data modeling, and system performance analysis. The research method used is a literature review that includes studies on the application of calculus in various aspects of information technology and computation. The results indicate that the use of calculus, particularly in differential and integral analysis, can improve data processing speed and computational accuracy in information systems. In conclusion, calculus plays an important role in the development of modern information systems, particularly in improving efficiency and system performance. The rapid development of computation-based information systems requires optimal performance in terms of processing speed, resource efficiency, and accuracy. One mathematical approach that plays a crucial role in achieving such optimization is calculus. This study aims to examine the use of calculus concepts, particularly derivatives and integrals, in improving the performance of computation-based information systems.
