Abstract

Islamic Religious Education learning is often considered boring and overly theoretical by some students. This often leads to decreased student motivation, impacting the learning process and student learning outcomes. Teachers must employ various strategies and tactics to ensure effective learning. To address this, a game-based learning approach is a creative solution that can make the learning process more engaging and enjoyable. Games serve not only as entertainment but also as an effective learning medium for conveying Islamic values. This study aims to explain the definition, function, benefits, and techniques for using games in Islamic Religious Education  learning. The study results indicate that the use of games can increase learning interest, understanding of Islamic concepts, and foster active and collaborative attitudes in the classroom. Games such as digital quizzes, Islamic card games, and role-playing games have been shown to create a more lively and meaningful learning atmosphere. Therefore, it is important for teachers and prospective educators to develop creative learning strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics of today's students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interactions between teachers and students in building and enhancing a culture of discipline at Al-Istiqomah Senior High School, West Pasaman. Discipline in the school environment is a crucial aspect that supports the creation of a conducive learning environment, which in turn can maximize students' potential in both academics and character development. Teachers, as educators and role models, play a significant role in guiding students to comply with school regulations. This study used qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach to understand the dynamics of interactions between teachers and students in greater depth. Data were collected through observation, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and relevant school documentation. The results indicate that interaction patterns involving multi-directional communication between teachers and students are effective in strengthening a culture of discipline. Teachers not only provide instructions but also employ a persuasive and educational approach when reprimanding infractions. For example, students who are late are given educational punishments such as memorizing verses from the Quran, while more serious violations, such as smoking, are subject to mild physical sanctions, such as running. This approach not only enforces rules but also helps students understand the importance of discipline as part of character development. Consistent interactions between teachers and students also foster close and respectful relationships, thus making students more motivated to comply with rules. This research suggests that discipline in schools can be effectively improved through an approach that emphasizes positive interpersonal interactions and educational teaching methods. The practical implication of this research is that schools can design discipline programs that balance firmness and understanding, so that students understand not only the consequences but also the value of discipline itself.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in elementary schools requires appropriate methods so that students not only understand the material, but are also able to remember and practice it in everyday life. However, in practice, low student learning outcomes are still found due to the lack of variety in learning methods and the minimal active involvement of students in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to apply learning methods that can increase student motivation and learning outcomes, one of which is through the Repetitive Method Learning Method. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the application of the Repetitive Method Learning Method, (2) the improvement of student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SDN 12 Kinali, and (3) supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of the Repetitive Method Learning Method in improving student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SDN 12 Kinali. This study uses a descriptive approach with a qualitative field research type. The data sources in this study consist of primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation techniques directly in the field. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using data triangulation and source triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results of the study showed that: (1) the application of the Repetitive Method Learning Method in Islamic Religious Education learning at SDN 12 Kinali went well, marked by teacher readiness before the learning process, such as preparing lesson plans, student worksheets, and textbooks; (2) the use of the Repetitive Method Learning Method was able to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects; and (3) supporting factors for the application of this method include teacher commitment and teamwork, while the inhibiting factors were the lack of teamwork and low teacher commitment in implementing learning.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational administration management through an academic information system at STAI-PIQ West Sumatra. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, documentation, and literature review. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and roles of the academic information system in educational management. The findings indicate that the implementation of SIAKAD supports integrated academic management processes, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic activities. The system facilitates efficient management of academic data related to students, lecturers, curriculum, scheduling, assessment, and financial administration. Furthermore, SIAKAD contributes to improved administrative efficiency, data accuracy, and managerial decision-making, thereby supporting the achievement of the institution’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives. In conclusion, the academic information system plays a crucial role in strengthening educational administration management at STAI-PIQ West Sumatra. Abstract

Islamic education is currently facing a multidimensional crisis. In the face of this crisis, Islamic education has experienced a severe decline and dehumanization. As a result, the values of Islamic teachings have been stripped of their spiritual and divine essence. This study aims to reconstruct Sufi values within Islamic education (Sufi-based education) grounded in the Quran, Hadith, and the ijtihad of scholars, all rooted in divine values and spirituality. This study employs a literature review (library research) method, relying on documents as the primary data sources. The data analysis technique used in this study is content analysis, employing Sara Mills’ critical discourse framework. The results indicate that Islamic education, in the face of a multidimensional crisis, urgently requires an education grounded in Sufi values, which includes: Education must have a strong foundation rooted in spirituality based on divine values so that students may discover their innate Hanif nature. Sufi Islamic education aims to shape well-rounded individuals with praiseworthy character. To achieve this goal, Sufi Islamic education provides curriculum based on mental, spiritual, and mystical development. Sufi Islamic education also incorporates methods such as takholli, tahalli, and tajalli; these three methods require practice and habituation.
