Abstract

This research is conducted to examine the influence of Accounting Information Systems, Internal Control, and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at Chasan Rusdi Group. Furthermore, it also identifies whether Organizational Culture acts as a moderating variable. The study uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling, involving 70 respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using the PLS-SEM approach with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings showed that Accounting Information Systems, Internal Control, and Work Motivation had positive and significant effects on Employee Performance. However, Organizational Culture did not moderate the relationship between the independent variables and Employee Performance. This implies that employee performance improvement is more influenced by system effectiveness, control processes, and motivation than by organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a new perspective on the phenomenon of initial returns in IPO stocks by incorporating non-financial information, namely underwriter reputation, listing board, and Sharia-compliant stock status. The underwriter variable is measured using research reports from PT Stockbit Sekuritas, which makes it distinct from previous studies that used different measures for underwriter reputation. The sample consisted of 192 IPOs listed between 2022 until April 15, 2025. Data were collected through documentation from publications by the Indonesia Stock Exchange and PT Stockbit Sekuritas. The data analysis begins with assessing model fit using the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), and Pseudo R². Binomial logistic regression is employed to analyze the data, with interpretation based on odds ratios. The findings reveal that reputable underwriters and sharia-compliant status have a positive and significant effect on IPO initial returns, while the listing board does not have a significant impact. Specifically, IPOs managed by reputable underwriters are 3.32 times more likely to generate initial returns compared to those handled by non-reputable underwriters. Similarly, sharia-compliant IPOs are 2.35 times more likely to deliver initial returns compared to non-sharia IPOs. This study provides empirical evidence that non-financial information disclosed in IPO prospectuses should also be considered to complement financial information. Accordingly, the findings offer practical implications for investors, suggesting that they should consider underwriter reputation and sharia-compliant categorization as important factors when making IPO investment decisions.

Abstract

Neural network-based Information Retrieval (IR), particularly with Transformer models, has gained prominence in information search technology. However, the application of this technology in Indonesian, a low-resource language, remains limited. This study aims to compare the performance of the LSTM model and IndoBERT for IR tasks in Indonesian. The dataset consists of 5,000 query–document pairs collected via scraping from three Indonesian news portals: CNN Indonesia, Kompas, and Detik. Evaluation was performed using MAP, MRR, Precision@5, and Recall@5 metrics. The results show that IndoBERT outperforms LSTM in all metrics with a MAP of 0.82 and MRR of 0.84, while LSTM only reached a MAP of 0.63 and MRR of 0.65. These findings confirm that Transformer models like IndoBERT are more effective at capturing semantic relevance between queries and documents, even with limited datasets.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven digital transformation in various sectors, including the economic sector. Managing data on the prices and availability of basic commodities is crucial for maintaining community economic resilience. This study applies a design thinking approach to analyze the need for an information system on the prices and availability of basic commodities in Yogyakarta City, with a testing plan prepared using black box, white box, and security methods. The analysis produced three main findings: the need for Single Sign-On (SSO) with role-based access, real-time monitoring of commodity prices, and cross-agency integration in agenda and program management. The proposed system design consists of four main modules: administration, agenda, services, and programs/activities. Since this study is limited to the needs analysis and prototype design stage, empirical test results are not yet available. Nevertheless, the study provides an initial framework and foundation for cross-agency integration in the Yogyakarta City Government to support transparency, coordination, and control of basic commodity prices.

Abstract

Public information disclosure is an obligation of the regional government as mandated by Law Number 14 of 2008. However, in Serang City, the delivery of public information still faces various obstacles, such as limited access to information, low public understanding of public policies, and the suboptimal use of easily accessible communication media. Billboards as a public visual communication medium have not been fully maximized by the local government's Public Relations as a strategic means to convey transparent, accurate, and easily understood information. This study aims to analyze billboard-based Public Relations communication strategies in supporting public information disclosure in Serang City and identify their effectiveness in increasing public understanding and trust. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation of government billboards, interviews with Public Relations officials and the community, and documentation of policies and public communication materials. The results show that billboards have a strategic role as a Public Relations communication medium in supporting public information disclosure in Serang City. Simple message strategies, attractive visuals, and appropriate placement have been proven to increase information accessibility and strengthen transparency and a positive image of the local government.

Abstract

Administrative academic activities in many Junior High Schools are still carried out manually, such as entering student grades and attendance using separate worksheets. This process often leads to delays, data duplication, and calculation errors that affect the accuracy of report card results. To address these issues, this study aims to develop a web-based information system for managing student report card and attendance data that can integrate all academic processes digitally. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, system design, prototype development, and implementation testing. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL with a user-centered design approach to ensure ease of use for teachers, homeroom teachers, and administrative staff. The findings indicate that the system successfully reduced the time needed for grade recap from seven days to three days and decreased input errors by more than sixty percent. User responses showed a high level of satisfaction regarding the system’s ease of use, speed, and accuracy. Therefore, this information system is effective in improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of managing report card and attendance data in Junior High Schools

Abstract

The prior technology allowed clients to view only available products, without providing functionality for direct payments and service orders through the application. Users were limited to browsing a catalog of products, such as food, accessories, and pet pharmaceuticals. However, they were required to visit the store in person to acquire items or request services such as grooming, health assessments, and pet boarding. This constraint rendered the transaction process inefficient and curtailed consumer convenience. The absence of online payment options restricted clients' flexibility in selecting payment methods that met their preferences, such as bank transfers or cash-on-delivery (COD). This research develops an information system that facilitates direct ordering and payment through the application, thereby overcoming these limitations. These new capabilities enable users to effortlessly order services such as grooming, pet boarding, or health assessments, in addition to acquiring necessary items. The application accommodates various payment options, including bank transfers and cash on delivery, providing considerable flexibility for consumers. This application is developed using the Flutter framework for the frontend, ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user experience, and CodeIgniter for the backend, which manages server functionality and data handling. Through these changes, a technological services and vital pet care firm in Cianjur aims to attract additional customers, enhance its sales potential, improve customer satisfaction, and expand its market share in Cianjur and surrounding regions
