Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Information Center Management, Early Marriage Knowledge, and Reproductive Health Counseling on adolescents’ understanding of stunting prevention. Limited utilization of youth information and counseling services, low awareness of early marriage risks, and suboptimal reproductive health counseling reduce adolescents’ preventive knowledge regarding stunting. A quantitative approach with an associative design was applied. The population consisted of high school students, with a sample selected using random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Analyses included instrument testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, F-test for simultaneous effects, and t-test for partial effects. The results indicate that Information Center Management and Early Marriage Knowledge significantly affect adolescents’ understanding of stunting prevention, while Reproductive Health Counseling shows a positive but not statistically significant effect. These findings emphasize the importance of well-managed information services and comprehensive knowledge dissemination in enhancing adolescents’ awareness and preventive behaviors. The study provides practical insights for integrating educational management, reproductive health education, and early marriage awareness into programs aimed at strengthening stunting prevention among adolescents.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires healthcare institutions to digitize their financial data management to make administrative processes more effective and accurate. Medan's Pratama Haji Clinic currently still uses a manual system for recording transactions and preparing financial reports, resulting in frequent reporting delays, recording errors, and difficulties in tracking historical data. Based on these conditions, this study formulates three main problems, namely: how is the manual accounting information system currently implemented at Medan's Pratama Haji Clinic, what are the obstacles faced in managing financial reports manually, and how to design an accounting information system for managing transactions and financial reports. The purpose of this study is to design and build a computer-based accounting information system that can assist the process of recording transactions and preparing financial reports effectively at Medan's Pratama Haji Clinic. The research method uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was designed using PHP and MySQL with the help of DFD, ERD, and Context Diagram tools. The results show that the system built is able to integrate all financial transaction processes and produce reports automatically, accurately, and efficiently. This system also facilitates management's oversight and decision-making. The study concluded that a computer-based accounting information system can replace manual systems and improve the efficiency of the clinic's finance department. A recommendation for further research is to develop this system with a web-based automated reporting module to make financial information more transparent and accessible.

Abstract

Indonesia is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, making it vulnerable to earthquake activity. Earthquake events often require fast and accurate information delivery to reduce the impact of disasters. However, conventional systems often face obstacles such as information delays and lack of real-time impact analysis. Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) provide opportunities to overcome these problems. AI is able to process seismic data efficiently, detect earthquake patterns, and predict their impact. By utilizing Telegram bots as a medium, earthquake information can be delivered quickly through real-time notifications, which are easily accessible to the public. The development of AI-based Telegram bots aims to provide earthquake information automatically, including location, magnitude, and potential impact, as well as analyze historical data to predict seismic activity trends. This solution is expected to increase public awareness and response in dealing with earthquake disasters.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy. However, many MSMEs have difficulty implementing accounting standards due to limited accounting knowledge and limited information. This study aims to analyze the effect of information provision and socialization, accounting understanding, and business size on MSMEs' understanding of the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 36 MSMEs in Bekasi. The results show that information provision, socialization, and accounting understanding have a positive and significant effect on MSMEs' understanding of SAK EMKM. However, business size does not have a significant effect. This finding emphasizes the importance of accounting socialization and training to improve the quality of MSME financial reports. To improve MSMEs' understanding of SAK EMKM, management should prioritize implementing structured accounting training and socialization. This program can involve a practice-based approach, such as simple financial recording simulations, direct training, and technical assistance. In addition, strategic policies are needed that support the accessibility of information through digital media to reach more MSME actors.

Abstract

Introduction. This paper investigates the role of micro-credentials and digital badges in reinforcing information literacy and professional development within academic libraries. It assesses the benefits and challenges of these tools in continuous education at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Research Methods. Using a descriptive survey design, the study involved 406 undergraduate and postgraduate students selected via stratified random sampling from the Faculty of Education. Data Analysis. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire and analysed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage and mean). Hypotheses were tested using T-test and ANOVA at a 0.05 significance level. Results. The results show that overall participation was fairly low, even though respondents generally believed the programme was beneficial for improving employability and supporting lifelong learning. The analysis also found clear differences across age groups: older professionals were more actively involved than younger ones. Perceptions of benefit differed by level of education as well: participants with associate degrees rated the programme as most valuable, while those with doctoral degrees perceived the least benefit. Conclusion. Micro-credentials serve as vital tools for verifiable skill acquisition. However, tailored strategies are necessary to address demographic variations and increase adoption rates for effective professional development.

Abstract

The ability to explore important information in historical narrative text is one of the important abilities that must be possessed by elementary school students in Indonesian language materials. Based on the analysis of pretest results of grade VI students on the ability of students to dig up important information in historical texts at SDN Karawang Wetan III, it was found that students still had difficulty in classifying information using aspects: what, who, when, where, why, and how. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in the skill of digging up information on historical texts between groups of students taught using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by Mind Mapping and groups of students taught not using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by Mind Mapping for grade VI students at SDN Karawang Wetan III, East Karawang District, 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a pseudo-experiment. This research design is a non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population of this study were all grade VI students at SDN Karawang Wetan III, East Karawang District, totaling 106 students. The research sample was class VI B students totaling 35 people as the experimental class and class VI C students 35 people as the control class. The data collection method was carried out by the test method, namely with an objective test instrument (multiple choice). The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and t-test inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of the analysis showed that the average score of students' historical text information retrieval skills using the CIRC learning model assisted by mind mapping was 23.47 and students who were taught not using the CIRC learning model assisted by mind mapping was 16.09. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows that t-count > ttabel (t-count = 7.73 > ttabel =1.99714). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the skills of digging up historical text information between students who are taught using the learning model (CIRC) assisted by mind mapping and students who are taught not using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by mind mapping in class VI at SDN Karawang Wetan III for the 2022-2023 academic year.
