Abstract

Rapid technological advances lead to intense business competition among entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs utilize technology to improve company performance and profits. Many companies have begun implementing information systems to ensure their operations run smoothly. The transition to information systems or digitalization faces a number of challenges for employees, resulting in decreased performance due to difficulty in adapting. This problem also occurs in the supply chain division, which is one of the main parts of the company's operational management. This study aims to analyze the impact of information systems on the performance of the supply chain division. The study was conducted quantitatively using the Multiple Linear Regression method. The Multiple Linear Regression method involves more than one independent variable. Sampling was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 50 employees of the supply chain division. The results of the SPSS test of multiple linear regression show that the regression coefficient values for the variables of ease of use of information systems, availability and quality of real-time data, and the level of automation and process efficiency, have positive values. This means that if the value of the three variables increases, the performance of the supply chain division will increase. These three variables need to be further considered by the company in handling the digitalization process.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, including the Nazhatut Thullab Prajjan Camplong Madura Foundation, face the challenge of digital adaptation in the era of disruption. External communication management still relies on conventional methods, hampering efficiency and transparency. The main problems include limited communication channels with students' guardians, low digital literacy among administrators, scattered data, and the suboptimal use of websites as a medium for socialization and da'wah. To address these issues, this activity proposes the development and implementation of an integrated website with a focus on the message blast feature for mass and rapid communication. The community service was implemented in five stages: a preliminary survey and needs analysis through interviews and direct observation; the design and development of a user-friendly integrated website with attention to data security; planning and preparation of a training program, including the creation of pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge; implementation of training and mentoring on July 19-20, 2025, for 16 Islamic boarding school administrators using presentations, lectures, practice, and discussions; and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant improvements in administrative efficiency and transparency through a functional website system. Posttest results were consistently significantly higher than pretest results, indicating increased human resource capacity in utilizing information technology. Participants demonstrated optimal technology adoption and were able to operate the website independently.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of retail business models in Indonesia has driven retailers to integrate offline and online shopping channels in order to adapt to shifting consumer behaviors. Alfamart has responded to this transformation by combining its extensive physical store network with the Alfagift digital platform, thereby enhancing consumer access, convenience, and the availability of product information. This study aims to examine the influence of consumer trust in offline stores and perceived confidence in online stores on consumers’ information-seeking intention and purchase intention. A quantitative approach was applied by distributing structured questionnaires to 170 respondents who had prior experience shopping at both Alfamart and Alfagift. The data collected were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the structural relationships among the proposed variables. The findings indicate that consumer trust in offline stores and perceived confidence in online stores have significant effects on both information-seeking intention and purchase intention. Moreover, information-seeking intention is found to significantly mediate the relationship between trust, perceived confidence, and consumers’ eventual purchase intention.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged the Indonesian government to implement e-government, including at the village level through the Village Information System (SID). This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of a website-based SID in Limbung Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was obtained through observation, interviews with village officials and the community, and documentation of the village's official website. The analysis focused on three indicators of effectiveness: timeliness, accuracy of targets, and cost accuracy. The results show that the effectiveness of the Limbung Village SID is still low. In terms of timeliness, content updates are very rare, causing information to lose its relevance. In terms of accuracy, many strategic features such as the Village Budget (APBDes), village reports, and regulations are not yet optimal, so that the public's need for information is not being met. In terms of cost-effectiveness, the benefits felt by the community are not yet commensurate with the costs. The main obstacles include limited human resources, weak ICT infrastructure, minimal socialisation, and low digital literacy among residents. Nevertheless, the SID still provides opportunities to strengthen transparency, participation, and village governance. This study recommends improving the capacity of the apparatus, consistency in content updates, and budget planning based on the actual needs of the community so that SID can function effectively as an e-government instrument at the village level.

Abstract

The waiting time for outpatient pharmacy services at Permata Jonggol Hospital had not met the minimum service standards, potentially reducing service quality and patient satisfaction. This issue was suspected to be influenced by human resource (HR) competence, service regulations, and the utilization of the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). This study aimed to analyze the effect of HR competence and service regulations on pharmacy waiting time, with HMIS utilization as an intervening variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected at a single point in time using instruments that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that HR competence, service regulations, and HMIS utilization simultaneously had a significant effect on pharmacy waiting time. Partially, HR competence and service regulations significantly affected HMIS utilization and waiting time. HMIS utilization also significantly influenced waiting time and mediated the relationship between HR competence, service regulations, and pharmacy waiting time. In conclusion, improving pharmacists’ competence, strengthening service regulations, and optimizing HMIS utilization in an integrated manner were important strategies to reduce waiting time and improve service efficiency and quality

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology has created a new sphere of interaction known as cyberspace, where information can be disseminated without geographical boundaries. This condition not only facilitates the exchange of information but also gives rise to complex legal challenges, particularly concerning hate speech offenses. In Indonesia, the regulation of online hate speech is stipulated in Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law) as amended by Law Number 19 of 2016. The problem arises when perpetrators of hate speech reside outside Indonesia, yet their actions have legal impacts within the country. This situation relates to the application of the principle of extraterritoriality as regulated in Article 2 of the ITE Law, which extends Indonesia’s jurisdiction to acts committed abroad that have legal consequences domestically. However, the application of this principle raises debate due to its potential conflict with the principle of territoriality in Indonesian criminal law as regulated in the Criminal Code (KUHP). This study aims to analyze the criminal law regulation of extraterritoriality within the ITE Law regarding hate speech in cyberspace and to examine the limits of Indonesia’s jurisdiction in enforcing the law against cross-border cyber offenses. The research employs a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings are expected to provide insight into the extent to which the principle of extraterritoriality in the ITE Law can be effectively applied in harmony with the general principles of Indonesian criminal law.

Abstract

Employee performance reflects how well the goals of an agency or institution have been achieved, including aspects of quality, quantity, accuracy, work results, and level of independence. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the influence of information technology on the performance of employees in the Makassar Class I Correctional Institution. The study uses a quantitative approach with bivariate analysis. The findings of the study show that the indicators of the variables of information technology and employee performance are in a very satisfactory category. The results of the product moment correlation analysis indicate a strong relationship between the use of information technology and the level of employee performance. In addition, the results of simple linear regression strengthen these findings by showing the positive and significant influence of information technology on employee performance. Quantitatively, the use of information technology in the Makassar Class I Correctional Institution achieved a score of 90%, while employee performance achieved a score of 96%; both scores fall within the very satisfactory category. Information technology recorded a 59.1% contribution to employee performance. Thus, the results of this study offer an in-depth look at the importance of the application of information technology in improving the quality of employee performance in correctional institutions, as well as providing a strong basis for the formulation of more appropriate and strategic policies in the future. This study not only provides empirical evidence of the positive influence of information technology on employee performance but also highlights the unique context of correctional institutions as a public service environment where digitalization faces structural and cultural barriers. The results have influenced the development of ICT-based performance management in the public sector, especially in correctional administration.
