Abstract

Heart failure is one of the leading causes of death in the world that requires an accurate and efficient prediction system to support clinical decision making. This study aims to develop a prediction model for the risk of death in patients with heart failure by optimizing feature selection using the Mutual Information (MI) approach. The main problem raised is the high complexity of clinical data with many features that are not always relevant, which can reduce the accuracy and efficiency of predictive models. The method proposed in this study involves MI-based feature selection to identify the most informative features against the target variable (patient mortality), which are then used to train various machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, and Logistic Regression. The hyperparameter tuning process is performed to optimize the performance of each model. The test results show that the Random Forest model that has been tuned using five selected features managed to achieve an accuracy of 0.99 and F1-score of 0.99, outperforming other models in terms of balance between accuracy and generalization. The results show that Mutual Information is effective in simplifying model complexity without compromising prediction performance.

Abstract

The radio frequency spectrum is a limited natural resource that is crucial in supporting various communication sectors. However, violations of frequency spectrum usage, such as unauthorized usage or non-compliance with technical parameters, frequently occur in the East Nusa Tenggara region. Monitoring conducted by the Radio Frequency Spectrum Monitoring Center Class I Kupang faces challenges due to manual record-keeping and scattered data, which hinder efficient evaluation and management of violations. This study aims to develop a web-based information system capable of monitoring and recording the history of radio frequency spectrum violations in a centralized and real-time manner. The system is also designed to facilitate easier access to information and management of violation data. Data collection methods used in this research include literature studies, observation, and interviews. Meanwhile, the software development method applied is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is an information system that provides centralized violation history data to support more effective radio frequency spectrum management in the East Nusa Tenggara region

Abstract

Fotocopy al-hikam adalah toko yang menjual berbagai macam alat tulis. Saat ini, Toko Fotocopy Al-Hikam hanya tersedia dalam bentuk outlet, sehingga proses jual beli masih dilakukan secara konvensional yang artinya konsumen datang ke toko. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pentingnya merancang sistem informasi perdagangan elektronik pada fotocopy al-hikam untuk memudahkan transaksi penjualan. Pembuatan aplikasi dibangun menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dan pemodelan aplikasi menggunakan metode UML berupa use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, entity relationship diagram dan diuji menggunakan metode pengujian blackbox. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menghasilkan suatu aplikasi e-commerce berbasis web untuk memudahkan transaksi penjualan.

Abstract

The growth of the library will not be separated from the progress of science and information technology. In this case the library is closely related to information technology and science. Each helping the other. Libraries have a great responsibility to improve the reading habits of their users. Therefore, this digital library has a very positive influence on users' reading motivation. A digital library is a library that uses a collection of books that are in digital format and can be accessed via computers and smartphones. The digital library has implemented a repository. Repository is a container for storing various documents or information. The use of a repository greatly facilitates digital library users in finding the information they need. In this study, the method used to search for content information uses (information retrieval), in processing the search using the N-Gram Algorithm and Cosine Similarity to measure the similarity between the documents sought. Using the above method can speed up the process of searching for content in digital libraries and to find the relevance between search results and keywords.

Abstract

Law Number 11 of 2008 has an important role in the realization of building a cyber regime. Cases of data misuse on social media are rife along with the development of technology. According to the detikinet page, at least 14 million social media accounts were affected by personal data leaks. In Islam, abuse of identity without the consent of the party is one of the actions that prohibited by Allah SWT, this is because it’s an act that damages and causes harm to other people. The purpose of this study is to find out the form of handling cybercrime in Indonesia, to find out the perpetrators accountability of data misuse according to the ITE Law, and to find out the responsibility for misusing information data on social media according to Islamic Criminal Law. The research method used is a qualitative approach with library research, the data sources used are primary and secondary data sources. Technical data collection by collecting data from primary and secondary sources, namely with a conceptual approach. Research results 1) The form of handling Cybercrime can be carried out with the obligation of operators to provide education to users 2) ITE crimes are regulated in 9 Articles, from Article 27 to Article 35. In these 9 articles, 20 forms are formulated/ type of ITE crime. 3) Accountability for data misuse on social media included in the ta'zir category for violations. The appropriate sanction according Islamic law is imprisonment, also additional punishment in the form of a fine.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat globalisasi yang disertai dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menyebabkan informasi tersedia dalam jumlah yang sangat masif dan tersebar melalui berbagai media, serta dapat diakses tanpa batas ruang dan waktu oleh berbagai lapisan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penyebaran informasi terkait koleksi melayu oleh pustakawan di layanan Bilik Melayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 95 pengunjung layanan Bilik Melayu. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebaran informasi terkait koleksi melayu berada pada kategori efektif, ditandai dengan nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,38 yang berada pada rentang kategori efektif yang artinya proses penyebaran informasi telah berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The use of information technology in visa services can provide convenience; however, it also gives rise to various problems, as experienced at the South Jakarta Immigration Office, including ineffective mechanisms, technical disruptions, and the potential for identity falsification. The research problems addressed in this study concern how information technology is used in visa services at the South Jakarta Immigration Office based on Law Number 63 of 2024 in conjunction with Law Number 6 of 2011, as well as the obstacles encountered in the use of information technology in visa services at the South Jakarta Immigration Office. This study employs a normative research method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature studies and interviews and analyzed qualitatively. The results indicate that visa services at the South Jakarta Immigration Office have implemented information technology through an online-based e-visa system as regulated in Law Number 63 of 2024 in conjunction with Law Number 6 of 2011. All visa application processes are conducted digitally and in real time. The obstacles encountered include internal constraints, such as discrepancies in uploaded data, system validation failures, and technical disruptions, as well as external constraints, including the risk of cyberattacks, potential data breaches, and low levels of users’ digital literacy. These obstacles have been addressed through improvements in technological infrastructure, strengthening of digital security, and the provision of online guidelines to ensure the continuity of optimal services. The Government is expected to enhance continuous evaluation of the electronic visa system.

Abstract

The digital age has revolutionized the management of chronic patient health with advanced information technology (IT) integration. The study aims to evaluate the impact of information technology on the efficiency, quality, and accessibility of health care for chronic patients. The research method is literary study. Research results show that the use of EHRs makes it easier to access and update patient health data in real time, improving the quality of health care. Telemedicine offers facilities for remote consultation, reducing the need for frequent physical visits, thereby increasing the efficiency of care. Finally, mobile health apps and wearables provide personal and continuous health monitoring, which supports more accurate and informed clinical decision-making. The research concludes that information technology plays an important role in improving health management for chronic patients through improved accessibility, efficiency, and personalization of care.

Abstract

Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Yogyakarta has long depended on static 2D photographs and scattered social media content to convey campus conditions — a method that consistently falls short of giving prospective students any real spatial understanding of the campus environment. For students outside Yogyakarta, this means making enrollment decisions based on incomplete visual fragments. This study addresses that gap by designing and building a web-based 360° Virtual Tour system using the Prototyping development method. The system adopts a decoupled architecture: Django REST Framework handles backend data operations, while Next.js — paired with the React Photo Sphere Viewer library — drives the panoramic front-end display. Black Box functional testing confirmed that all eight tested features operated without error. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted with 66 respondents produced a feasibility score of 83.0%, classified as "Very Feasible." The highest-rated indicator was Real Campus Representation at 4.44 out of 5.00, confirming that users found the system's depiction of campus space genuinely accurate. The system offers a self-managed, cost-conscious alternative to vendor-dependent tour platforms, with clear implications for how smaller institutions can reclaim control over their own digital presence.

Abstract

In addition to analyzing the impact of governance and human resource competencies on the effective deployment of information technologies for local government, this study also looks at organizational Inertia as a moderating factor that may amplify or diminish these effects. This study offers novelty by positioning Organizational Inertia as a moderating variable, a factor that has received limited attention in prior SIPD implementation studies. Saturated sampling techniques were employed to collect primary data from 76 employees of the Central Sulawesi Provincial Financial and Asset Management Agency involved in the implementation of the Local Government Information System. The study took a quantitative approach. WarpPLS 8.0 was used to analyze the data using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The findings demonstrated that there was no discernible impact of human resource competency. On the contrary, the success of system adoption is significantly impacted by Governance. Organizational Inertia, a moderating variable, strengthened the influence between independent and dependent variables. These results demonstrate that improving Governance is essential to the effective deployment of information technologies.
