Abstract

The community service team, comprising academics and students from STMIK Mardira Indonesia, has initiated a project focused on disaster mitigation related to the Lembang Fault for elementary school pupils at State Elementary School 2 Langensari Lembang. The Lembang region and its vicinity are susceptible to seismic threats owing to the active geological characteristics of the Lembang Fault. A lack of comprehension within the community, particularly among school-age students, about disaster risks and mitigation may exacerbate vulnerability during a disaster. This community service initiative seeks to enhance students' understanding and awareness of the potential hazards posed by the Lembang Fault through disaster mitigation education using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The implementation methods include interactive content delivery, the introduction of digital maps of disaster-prone regions, basic earthquake-mitigation simulations, and the assessment of student comprehension before and after the activities. The application of GIS facilitates the geographical visualization of the Lembang Fault, earthquake-prone areas, and the adjacent school environment, thereby enhancing student comprehension. This initiative seeks to foster a disaster-aware culture from a young age and help mitigate catastrophe risk in elementary school environments.

Abstract

This research was conducted as part of an internship program organized by Nusa Putra University and held at the Central Statistics Agency in Sukabumi City. The main problems identified were the suboptimal public service process, which still relied on manual procedures and the lack of system integration. This situation resulted in low service efficiency and delays in delivering information to the public. Therefore, this project aimed to improve the quality and effectiveness of services through the development of a web-based information system. The method used combined a user-needs-based approach with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. Data collection was conducted through direct observation and interviews to identify specific system requirements. The system was then designed, developed, and tested in stages to ensure its functionality met user needs. The result of this project was the SPINTAR information system, which provides a more structured, faster, and more accessible service mechanism. This system also improved data management and strengthened interaction between users and agencies. In conclusion, the implementation of the SPINTAR system successfully increased the efficiency of public services while supporting the digital transformation process at Central Statistics Agency in Sukabumi City. In addition, this activity provides practical experience for students in applying academic knowledge directly in a real work environment.

Abstract

Salted fish, nowadays, most traders use dangerous preservatives; the preservative is Formalin. Traders use these chemicals because food becomes more durable, even though it will be consumed by humans. But because of a lack of public knowledge about foods that contain hazardous chemicals. Therefore, an automatic device based on an Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller is designed. This Arduino Uno R3 microcontroller-based system can test food practically and effectively, which shows quantitative results, because it does not take a long time to see the results. The TCS3200 color sensor is used to detect food samples containing Formalin mixed with Formalin Main Reagent according to the dose. Then the sensor will detect the color that changes after everything has reacted, and the buzzer alarm will sound when the positive result contains Formalin. The test results will be displayed on the 16x2 LCD screen and Java NetBeans application, where the output is in the form of detection of formalin or formalin-free. Preliminary data collection in this study was conducted using literature and observation. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study, the level of performance test data, Development of Formalin Content Test Equipment in Salted Fish Using TCS3200 Color Sensor Based on Arduino Microcontroller, obtained a score of 74 with the category "Very Feasible".

Abstract

This study empirically examines the influence of accounting information system understanding, accounting information system implementation, and financial literacy on MSME performance. This study used a quantitative approach. The population consisted of MSMEs engaged in rattan production in Jepara Regency. A purposive sampling method resulted in a sample of 89 respondents. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and then analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The research findings confirm that AIS understanding, AIS implementation, and financial literacy contribute positively and significantly to MSME performance. Mature understanding and the intensity of system operation have been shown to reduce financial management inefficiencies and strengthen the basis for business policy-making. Furthermore, strong financial literacy skills equip business owners with the capabilities to control cash flow dynamics, construct accountable financial reports, and formulate more precise financial conclusions. MSMEs need to commit to transforming their conventional bookkeeping models into technology-based systems, utilizing digital facilities and financial literacy provided by the government. The government needs intensive mentoring and regular training on digital accounting applications, as well as the provision of inclusive, affordable, and easy-to-understand digital infrastructure.
