Abstract

Academic information systems are essential for supporting integrated academic services in higher education. However, SIAMIK at Bali Tourism Polytechnic still faces issues related to system integration, interface interactivity, manual grade processing, and limited digital service integration. This study evaluates SIAMIK success using the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model and formulates system development recommendations based on empirical findings. A quantitative survey was conducted involving 102 users consisting of management, lecturers, administrative staff, and students. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that system quality significantly affected user satisfaction (β = 0.324, p < 0.001), information quality had the strongest effect (β = 0.433, p < 0.001), and service quality also had a significant effect (β = 0.170, p = 0.039). User satisfaction significantly influenced net benefits (β = 0.724, p < 0.001). The model explained 67.2% of user satisfaction and 52.3% of net benefits, with strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.843). Findings suggest that SIAMIK development should prioritize information completeness, responsive access, technical support assurance, and cross-system integration.

Abstract

In EFL context the necessity of English, chiefly speaking skill is demanded when it comes as requirement for continuing higher education and facing cross-cultural communication. Information gap activity is considered to imply for developing students’ intelligence and ability to communicate and interact in real-situation. This research aims at explaining the implementation of information gap activities at Englishopedia and how students perceive the activities. The researcher used qualitative observational study, which the data were collected from observations, interview and documents. This research conducted in Englishopedia with 33 students during observation and 3 participants during interview were involved in this research. The research findings revealed that information gap activities facilitating the students in practicing speaking. The most prominent information gap activities were conversation through pair-work. Furthermore, the students were enthusiast in terms of pair-work activities, because it gave them new ideas, triggered to speak to other participants and enrollment of native speaker, thus establish students’ motivation to learn and using English.

Abstract

Pengelolaan inventaris barang di Balai Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (BPMP) Provinsi NTB masih dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Excel sehingga proses pencatatan, pencarian data, dan penyusunan laporan belum berjalan secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang UI/UX sistem informasi inventaris barang berbasis website menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD). Proses perancangan dilakukan menggunakan Figma melalui tahapan understanding context of use, specifying user requirements, designing the solution, dan evaluating the design. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) terhadap 24 responden. Hasil pengujian memperoleh skor rata-rata SUS sebesar 85,85 yang termasuk kategori excellent. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa desain sistem yang dirancang mudah digunakan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dalam pengelolaan inventaris barang di lingkungan BPMP NTB.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam lingkungan pemerintahan menuntut sistem informasi yang andal, terutama pada sisi back-end yang berperan penting dalam pengelolaan data dan komunikasi antarmodul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem back-end pada aplikasi e-office di Biro Administrasi Pimpinan Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan Node.js dan Express.js sebagai framework server, serta MongoDB sebagai basis data. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan struktur database, dan implementasi API untuk mendukung operasi Create, Read, Update, dan Delete (CRUD). Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem back-end mampu mengelola data surat dan arsip dengan baik, serta mendukung pertukaran data secara efisien antara server dan klien. Dengan adanya sistem ini, proses administrasi di lingkungan biro menjadi lebih terintegrasi, cepat, dan aman. Implementasi back-end e-office ini diharapkan dapat mendukung upaya pemerintah daerah dalam mewujudkan tata kelola digital yang efektif dan transparan.

Abstract

Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi informasi telah memicu transformasi digital di sektor perbankan, di mana website menjadi sarana vital dalam komunikasi dengan nasabah. Landing page perusahaan tidak sekadar berfungsi sebagai alat promosi, melainkan juga pusat informasi mengenai produk, layanan, suku bunga, dan operasional. PT BPR NTB (Perseroda) membutuhkan sistem pengelolaan konten yang andal untuk memastikan informasi layanan dapat diperbarui secara tepat waktu dan akurat. Berdasarkan observasi selama pelaksanaan pengabdian, ditemukan bahwa pengelolaan konten pada landing page saat ini belum didukung oleh Content Management System (CMS) terintegrasi. Hal ini menyebabkan proses pembaruan data memakan waktu lama dan berisiko menimbulkan inkonsistensi informasi. Guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan backend CMS berbasis Laravel. Sistem ini dirancang sebagai panel kontrol bagi administrator untuk mengelola konten layanan nasabah secara terpusat. Pengembangan sistem mengadopsi arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC) pada framework Laravel, didukung oleh Eloquent ORM untuk manajemen basis data dan mekanisme autentikasi demi keamanan akses. Diharapkan, hasil perancangan ini menghasilkan sistem backend yang terstruktur, fleksibel, dan mudah dioperasikan, sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan konten website PT BPR NTB (Perseroda) serta kualitas informasi yang disampaikan kepada nasabah.

Abstract

Institute of Dharma Keuskupan Agung Jakarta is a community that serves the poor and oppressed in the Jakarta area and beyond. One of the services provided is through the existence of the same Mission to teach residents to be diligent in saving. Currently the manager uses Microsoft Excel to process data 30 groups with 370 cooperative members manually, and this method takes a lot of time and labor. To help solve these problems, a cooperative information system was created that could process data and provide information quickly for cooperative managers using Microsoft Access. The system design is done by the Prototyping method, one of the Systems Development Life Cycle methods, which consists of four stages. The first, the Planning: system requirements are determined and a feasibility study is carried out. The second, the Analysis: functional and non-functional requirements are defined and behavior modeling is carried out. The third, the Design: the interface layer is designed. The fourth, the Implementation: the proposed system program is run and tested. The information system is made capable of receiving financial data input, members, and cooperative groups and then provide information on financial reports, book closing reports, and statistical reports automatically. The application has been tested by the cooperative manager and declared successful in providing information quickly, accurately and easily.Bahasa Indonesia Abstrak: Lembaga Daya Dharma Keuskupan Agung Jakarta merupakan sebuah komunitas yang melayani warga miskin dan tertindas di daerah Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Salah satu pelayanan yang diberikan adalah melalui adanya koperasi Misi Sama untuk mengajar warga untuk rajin menabung. Saat ini pengelola menggunakan Microsoft Excel untuk mengolah data 30 kelompok dengan 370 anggota koperasi secara manual, dan cara tersebut memakan banyak waktu dan tenaga kerja. Untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, dibuatkan sebuah sistem informasi koperasi yang dapat mengolah data dan memberikan informasi dengan cepat bagi pengelola koperasi dengan menggunakan Microsoft Access. Perancangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode Prototyping, salah satu metode Systems Development Life Cycle, yang terdiri dari empat tahap. Tahap pertama, Planning: kebutuhan sistem ditentukan dan studi kelayakan dilakukan. Tahap kedua, Analysis: kebutuhan fungsional dan non-fungsional didefinisikan dan permodelan perilaku dilakukan. Tahap ketiga, Design: dilakukan perancangan lapisan antarmuka. Tahap keempat, Implementation: program sistem usulan dijalankan dan diuji coba. Sistem informasi yang dibuat mampu menerima input data keuangan, anggota, dan kelompok koperasi kemudian memberikan informasi laporan keuangan, laporan penutupan buku, dan laporan statistik secara otomatis. Aplikasi telah diuji coba oleh pengelola koperasi dan dinyatakan berhasil memberikan informasi dengan cepat, akurat dan mudah.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities in Indonesia, from basic education to university levels, must be carried out online. The main problem experienced by teachers in online teaching and learning activities is the lack of mastery of technology by teachers. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct mentoring and training programs to improve the ability of teachers to use technology to support online teaching and learning activities. For this reason, in this community service activity, training has been carried out which aims to provide knowledge to teachers to improve teacher competence using information technology. The method of implementing activities is through counseling and training. Activities have been evaluated using a questionnaire, the results achieved are 90.77% of teachers can use information technology to support online teaching and learning activities. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Pada masa pandemi COVID-19 kegiatan belajar mengajar di Indonesia, mulai dari tingkat pendidikan dasar hingga perguruan tinggi harus dilaksanakan secara daring. Permasalahan utama yang dialami oleh guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar daring adalah kurangnya penguasaan teknologi oleh guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu dilakukan program pendampingan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru dalam menggunakan teknologi guna mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar daring. Untuk itu, pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah dilakukan pelatihan yang bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan kepada guru-guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Kegiatan telah dievaluasi dengan menggunakan kuesioner, hasil yang dicapai adalah 90.77% guru dapat menggunakan teknologi informasi dalam mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar daring.

Abstract

This study addresses the vulnerabilities of digital attendance systems in educational institutions, particularly regarding data security. Many existing systems allow unauthorized access and manipulation due to inadequate security measures. The objective of this research is to enhance data security in the student attendance system at a vocational high school in Bandung by implementing the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) algorithm. Utilizing the Waterfall methodology, the study follows a structured approach through the phases of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Sensitive data, such as student identification numbers and attendance records, are encrypted using the AES algorithm before being stored in the database. The results reveal that the encrypted data remains secure as ciphertext and is inaccessible without the appropriate decryption key. Importantly, the implementation of the encryption does not compromise the system's performance. Overall, this study contributes valuable insights into enhancing data security measures for digital attendance systems, offering a robust solution that protects sensitive information while maintaining functionality.

Abstract

This article examines the conceptual definitions of technology and clarifies related concepts, including technological cluster, technological park, and technology transfer. It further substantiates the distinction between bulk technology and nanotechnology and provides a substantive analysis of production, pedagogical, and information technologies. Drawing on theoretical analysis, the article reviews definitions of pedagogical technology proposed by foreign and local scholars and formulates an authorial definition of pedagogical technology. The findings establish fundamental interconnections among production, information, and pedagogical technologies, demonstrating that these domains are not isolated but mutually reinforcing within broader technological development. The article concludes that a clearer conceptual understanding of technology and its related categories is essential for explaining how different technological domains interact and contribute to educational, informational, and production processes. This study contributes to technology and education literature by systematizing key technological concepts and offering a theoretical basis for understanding the interrelationship between production, information, and pedagogical technologies. Abstract

While digital transformation has become a baseline expectation in modern school administration, correspondence archive management at Santa Maria Homba Karipit Catholic Senior High School remains entirely manual — producing measurable inefficiencies in document storage and persistent delays in data retrieval. Staff rely on physical logbooks and disconnected tools, with no centralized system to track letter histories or generate timely reports. This study designed and developed a web-based Correspondence Management Information System to digitize the school's administrative procedures. The methodology employed systematic requirements analysis, realized through Context Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) up to Level 2, alongside the design of a relational database. The resulting system integrates three user roles — Admin, Head of Administration, and School Principal — into a unified platform for managing incoming and outgoing letters and generating periodic reports. System testing across 24 test cases returned a 100% pass rate. Deployment reduced per-document processing time from fifteen minutes to two minutes, minimized the risk of physical archive loss, and provided school leadership with faster, more reliable access to correspondence records to support administrative decision-making.
