Abstract

Education has an important role in ensuring the survival of the nation and state, as well as improving the quality of human resources to participate in national development. Today's developing technology, including in the field of education, can make it easier for students to learn new things and get information, including about scholarship programs. However, the security of scholarship recipient data needs to be considered so that it is not easily accessed by unauthorized people. Cryptography can be an appropriate approach to secure such data. This research aims to secure Grant Me application user information using the AES algorithm to encrypt the username and password of scholarship recipients and scholarship providers. The method used is experimental testing of the system to be built using the AES algorithm. The results showed that the application of the AES algorithm with a key value of 256 bytes proved that user login information was not easy to know from either the application owner or a third party. With the application of AES as a security system, it can be concluded that the application becomes more secure from hacker interference.

Abstract

The SMKN 40 Jakarta library had service and administrative processing problems, namely difficulty reading manual administrative data collection writing, library members lack information on book stock availability, and delays in returning books. Therefore, this researched aims to develop a web-based library information system used SLiMS and adding notification features with WhatsApp gateway to whacenter api endpoint. This researched used Rapid Application Development for software development method. Based on the results of system testing carried out used Black Box State Transition Testing, it was 100% successful meaning that website could function properly. Testing continued with System Usability Scale (SUS) from 75 student respondents, teachers and librarians which resulted in a score of 62,3. A valued of 62,3 was interpreted as meaning that system had marginally low Acceptability Ranges, Grade Scale D, and Adjective Ratings "GOOD". It could been concluded that website was acceptable to users and had good quality.

Abstract

institutions. This research aims to develop a web-based Faculty Information System at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha. This system is designed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing faculty data, research, and community service. Currently, data management relies on Microsoft Excel, which is susceptible to data loss and damage. In developing this system, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) as the primary architecture are employed. The Model is responsible for providing and manipulating data from the database, the View displays information to the user, and the Controller manages tasks performed by the Model and View. With the existence of this system, it is expected to provide a centralized solution for faculty data management, reduce the risk of data loss, and facilitate information control. The results of this research include the development of an application that can improve the efficiency of faculty data management at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha. The conclusion of this research highlights the positive potential of the information system that can significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of educational services. The implementation of this Faculty Information System is expected to support the improvement of the faculty information management process in this institution.

Abstract

This study examines empirically the extent of voluntary disclosure of 70 companies in Indonesia (divided into two categories, which are the participants of Annual Report Award – ARA and Non ARA) by using Graphical Information Disclosure Index (GIDI). The results show that generally, the level of voluntary disclosure still at poor level. But, specifically there were any differentiation in ARA category (level of voluntary disclosure reach average level) and non ARA category (level of voluntary disclosure still at poor level). Graphical information in Indonesian companies has a tendency to use bar chart with 5 years time series. The numbers of topics graphed varies widely while the most commonly graphed was net income (loss). The most commonly graphed of key financial variables was operating income (loss)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Automatic Exchange of Information by Financial Institution especially at PT Bank XYZ Indonesia, a subsidiary of bank that serves over 38 million customers covers 66 countries worldwide, in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, North and Latin America. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through library and field research conducted by interviews with related parties. The results of the study show that Bank XYZ as a Reporting Financial Institution is required to implement the provisions of international reporting standards, namely Common Reporting Standard (CRS), which is used to classify data in accordance with its reporting objectives. Some obstacles were found, namely the need for further guidance issued by the Directorate General of Taxes as a competent authority that regulates in more detail the instructions for filling in reports to be reported when reporting financial information data, and also the Directorate General of Taxes must anticipate the possibility related problems when reported by the reporting financial institution.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat pencarian data geografis menjadi semakin penting dalam aplikasi lokasi, termasuk pemetaan, navigasi, dan analisis lingkungan tempat dalam suatu lokasi. algoritma geohashing menawarkan pendekatan yang efisien untuk pengkodekan dan menyimpan data geografis dalam format string,String ini menggunakan alfanumerik yang dihasilkan oleh geohashing dari angka dan huruf dalam pencarian titik lokasi dengan koordinat, hal ini juga dapat menawarkan lapisan akses dari data lokasi yang sensitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan algoritma geohashing dalam manajemen data geografis. algoritma geohashing dalam pencarian letak informasi geografis sebagai alternatif pengganti koordinat latitude dan longitude. Secara khusus, penelitian ini menganalisis efisiensi geohashing dalam kompresi data, akurasi lokalisasi penggunaan geohashing memungkinkan pengelompokan data geografis yang lebih baik, dan mendukung pencarian data spasial seperti pencarian letak lokasi dan pencarian titik koordinat dalam wilayah tertentu. algoritma geohashing diimplementasikan dalam data geografis dan diuji untuk berbagai skenario pencarian. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa geohashing dapat meningkatkan kecepatan pencarian informasi geografis secara signifikan algoritma geohashing membuktikan tindakan sebagai alat yang efektif dalam manajemen dan pencarian data geografis,pada pencarian data koordinat lokasi ini juga dapat memberikan alternatif untuk mendapatkan latitude dan longitude dari suatu lokasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa geohashing dapat meningkatkan kecepatan pencarian informasi geografis secara signifikan, terutama dalam menjangkau suatu lokasi dengan level grid kotak data yang kecil dan besar sesuai karakter string yang dimasukan. Penggunaan geohashing tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi dan kecepatan pencarian tetapi juga memberikan manfaat tambahan dalam hal pengelolaan dan perlindungan data geografis.algoritma geohashing adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengkodekan koordinat geografis yang menghasilkan lokasi acak.Pengujian pada sistem ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan akses geografis kepada API aplikasi lokasi yang sudah dibuat sesuai permintaan yang diminta untuk mendapatkan informasi data geografis dan titik lokasi.

Abstract

Companies with a high level of sensitivity to environmental problems will disclose social responsibility reports and sustainability reports as a form of awareness. There is no environmental disclosure standard, causing disclosure to be voluntary, so this study divides the two types of disclosure styles (substantive and symbolic styles). This study aims to determine the effect of EID on financial performance with firm value as a moderating variable with a two-style disclosure approach. The sample in this study was high profile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2017-2018 with 400 samples total divided into two types disclosures through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis through SPSS 25. The results showed that both the subtantive and symbolic EID styles had a positive effect on financial performance, because the more total EID subtantical and symbolic styles, the more financial performance improved. Then the company's value can moderate the effect of EID on the financial performance of a substantive style company, while the effect of EID on the financial performance of a symbolic style company cannot be moderated by the value of the company, because the substantive style can increase investor confidence through quantitative and actual information disclosed, while the symbolic style is impressed greenwashing in its disclosure so that it cannot give investors confidence.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of human life, including the business world. One of its applications is the Management Information System (MIS), which has become crucial in operations and decision-making. This research focuses on the development of a web-based Stock Management Information System for Prop Noodle Bar Manyar, which has been using a manual system for stock recording. By adopting technologies such as PHP for programming and MySQL as the database, this system is expected to improve efficiency and accuracy in stock management. The research methodology includes problem identification, literature review, data collection through interviews and observations, data analysis, system development, and testing. The system development model uses the Waterfall method. The results of the research show that the developed information system is capable of providing more complete and faster information, as well as reducing errors in stock management. The acceptance test was carried out through a survey with 23 respondents consisting of 29% Waiters, 21% Cashiers, 17% Baristas, and 33% Cooks. It can be concluded that this application can help the process of reporting incoming and outgoing goods, reporting stock of goods, reporting purchases, sales and the process of carrying out stock taking.

Abstract

This study developed an Android-based Geographic Information System to recommend computer repair service shops in Lhokseumawe City, addressing the gap in previous studies that have not integrated recommendation and route-finding systems into a single mobile application. Data were collected through surveys of 17 active shops using weighted questionnaires and interviews. The Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method is used to evaluate seven criteria, such as years of operation, repair coverage, spare part availability, service cost, warranty, number of technicians, and rating. The A-Star algorithm was applied to calculate the shortest route based on GPS coordinates. Results showed that “JCom” achieved the highest recommendation score (0.810), and the optimal route from the starting point (Informatics Engineering Building, Unimal) to the selected shop was 11,793.74 meters, based on node accumulation. The system proved effective in providing accurate recommendations and efficient navigation, assisting users in choosing the best service shop through a single Android application.

Abstract

Inter Sport Store, a retail business located in Kersana District, Brebes Regency, has been operating since 2017. The store faces ongoing challenges in inventory management, frequently encountering stock surpluses or shortages that result in losses of up to IDR 15 million per month. These issues primarily result from a manual ordering process that relies on subjective estimation, without the support of accurate data analysis. Furthermore, sales records are still maintained manually in notebooks, making it difficult to track data and analyze consumer demand effectively. This study proposes the development of a web-based sales forecasting system using the Triple Exponential Smoothing (TES) method, which can handle both trend and seasonal patterns simultaneously, providing higher accuracy for complex time-series data compared to Single or Double Exponential Smoothing methods. The system is developed using the prototype development method with UML design and implemented using Laravel framework and MySQL database for real-time access and data updates. Forecasting results for the Ortuseight Catalyst Legion FG – Aqua White soccer shoe yielded a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 13.38%, which is considered within the "good" accuracy range. The implementation of this system successfully reduced overstock by 25% and improved inventory management efficiency. This forecasting system enhances operational efficiency and supports data-driven decision-making for store management.
