Abstract

This study aims to develop a website as an information service source for the Indonesian Plantation Museum’s Collections. The research is based on issues such as the lack of digital access to museum collections and insufficient descriptive information, and has social significance in expanding access to cultural information to the general public, especially the younger generation, as well as supporting the preservation of historical heritage through digital media. The study applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and incorporated a User-Center Desgin (UCD) approach to understand user needs. Data were collected through a survey involving 152 museum visitors and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings show that 90.79% of respondents expressed a high need for digital access to collection information, with the most desired features being detailed collection descriptions, interactive media, and simple navigation. The website was developed using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. It features digital collections, gallery, museum news, activity updates, and profile pages, and includes QR code integration for offline visitors. Formative evaluation indicates that the developed website aligns with user needs and preferences. This website is expected to serve as a digital preservation tool and improve access to museum collection information through technology.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) that maps the location of mosques and meunasah in Lhokseumawe City, and uses the Haversine Algorithm to calculate the closest distance between users and places of worship. The main purpose of this system is to provide fast, accurate, and efficient information, especially for newcomers or residents in finding the nearest place of worship. The method used is the waterfall system development model, with system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to visualize the workflow and data structure. Data is obtained through interviews with mosque administrators and the community, as well as taking coordinates using a GPS device. The test results show that the Haversine Algorithm can calculate the distance accurately and find the location of the nearest mosque or meunasah based on the user's position. However, this system has limitations because distance calculations only consider straight lines between points (geodesic), without taking into account the actual route of the road. This research concludes that a web-based GIS that integrates the Haversine Algorithm provides real-time distance information, makes it easier for people to find the nearest place of worship, and increases the accessibility of information and participation in religious activities in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

in Indonesia, due to its high morbidity and mortality rates. Tuberculosis is caused by bacteria from the Mycobacterium group, specifically Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Although TB can be cured with appropriate therapy, the relatively long treatment duration of 6 to 9 months often poses a challenge for patients to remain compliant with the treatment regimen. The success of TB therapy heavily depends on patients' adherence to treatment. Given the importance of monitoring medication intake during the recovery period, strategies are needed to improve patient adherence, one of which is through the use of information technology in healthcare services. This application is designed to improve TB patient adherence at the UPTD Puskesmas Sambas in Sibolga City. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which includes the stages of requirements planning, design workshop, and implementation. For monitoring patient medication, the Video Observed Treatment (VOT) method is used, where patients record their medication intake process, which is then verified by healthcare workers to ensure adherence to the treatment schedule. VOT enables remote monitoring without direct interaction, thereby saving time and costs for both patients and healthcare workers. Testing results indicate that the application can monitor tuberculosis patients' medication adherence through video reports during medication consumption. The system was designed using Android Studio with the Java programming language, Firebase Database, and Firestore cloud storage. The integration of this technology successfully replaces the Directly Observed Treatment (DOT) method, providing a modern solution to support digital transformation in healthcare services. This research resulted in a mobile-based Tuberculosis Patient Treatment Monitoring system that is expected to support healthcare workers in monitoring treatment in a more effective and efficient manner

Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged various business sectors to switch from manual systems to digital systems in order to improve efficiency and service quality. CV. Penanggungan 44, as a digital printing service provider, previously used a manual ordering system, resulting in inefficient transactions and susceptibility to recording errors. This study aims to design and develop a website-based Digital Printing Ordering Information System that can simplify the ordering process and assist in integrated data management. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method combined with a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) applied iteratively. UAT is not only used as a final testing stage, but also utilized since the interface design stage as a formative evaluation, so that user feedback can be directly integrated into the system design and construction improvement process. This approach ensures that rapid development remains in line with user needs and experiences. Black-box Testing shows that all system features function properly with a 100% success rate. Meanwhile, the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results obtained an average score of 86.8% in the excellent category, indicating that the system is easy to use and well-received by users. Abstract

This study aims to design and evaluate a new feature prototype in the Pradita Academic Information System (SIAKAD) as an artifact within the context of Design Science Research (DSR), with the goal of improving student satisfaction with academic services. Design Thinking (DT) and DSR methodologies are systematically integrated to develop a user-centered solution validated by empirical data. Qualitative evaluation is conducted through a Heuristic Evaluation (HE) conducted by a user experience (UX) expert, while quantitative evaluation is conducted using the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ). The results of this study show improvements in usability and interface quality, with an average PSSUQ score of 2.90, which is included in the "good" category. From a practical perspective, this study contributes by providing a structured framework that can be adopted by other academic system developers to optimize user experience through evidence-based design iterations.

Abstract

This Supervision Management Information System (SIMAWAS) is used to support the internal oversight process within the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Forestry. However, the application has never undergone a comprehensive security assessment, especially after the domain change. This study aims to identify vulnerabilities in SIMAWAS using penetration testing methods with OWASP ZAP. The testing stages include planning, automated scanning, alert analysis, and recommendation formulation. The risk levels (Medium, Low, and Informational) were classified based on the OWASP Risk Rating Methodology, considering the likelihood and potential impact of each identified vulnerability. The results show that SIMAWAS has no high-risk vulnerabilities, but several Medium, Low, and Informational weaknesses were found, such as security misconfiguration, missing security headers, and insecure cookie settings. These vulnerabilities may be exploited if not addressed properly. Improvement recommendations were developed based on OWASP standards to enhance application security and prevent potential exploitation in the future.

Abstract

The rapid development of websites as platforms for service delivery and information management has made web application security increasingly important, particularly in monitoring user activities and detecting potential security threats. One important data source in website security is the application log, which records authentication activities and system access. However, most previous studies have focused on analyzing infrastructure logs such as server and network logs, while research that specifically analyzes website application logs and presents them through a centralized security dashboard remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the security of website application logs using a dashboard-based approach with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). The system development method employed is the Waterfall model, which consists of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The SIEM approach is applied to collect, normalize, correlate, and analyze application log data. The results show that the developed system is able to record and visualize user activities through a security dashboard and detect several types of suspicious activities, including repeated failed login attempts (brute force), access outside operational hours, HTTP error bursts, and access to sensitive routes based on simulation testing. The analysis results are presented in the form of real-time visualizations and risk alerts, facilitating administrators in monitoring and auditing website security. Thus, the proposed dashboard-based application log security analysis system using SIEM can enhance the effectiveness of website security monitoring and support early detection of potential security threats at the web application level.

Abstract

Wedding Organizer (WO) provides specialized services that assist couples and their families from the planning stage to event implementation. However, the current WO service process still faces several issues, including manual information distribution, difficulty comparing service packages, lack of customer review history, and limited digital service marketing. These conditions create challenges for new WO businesses in gaining market visibility and hinder customers from selecting services based on quality and verified feedback. To address these problems, this study develops a Web Portal-Based Management Information System that enables users to access WO information, compare packages, make bookings, and submit reviews through an integrated platform. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, beginning with requirements analysis obtained through interviews and thematic analysis. System functionality was tested using Black-box Testing to ensure each feature operates according to specifications. The results show that all modules package comparison, booking and payment verification, partner management, and user review function correctly and support users in making more informed decisions. This system also improves WO visibility through digital-based service promotion.

Abstract

The management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which were previously in the form of physical and manual documents and scattered across several storage media, caused several operational problems. These problems included difficulty in searching for documents, inconsistencies between the latest versions, delayed notifications, and a high risk of data loss, especially in the logistics industry. In this study, a web-based SOP management system was designed using Laravel and MySQL with the R&D+Waterfall method. Needs analysis was conducted through observation and interviews with five Manager ial respondents. The system is equipped with an approval workflow (waiting-approved-rejected) and RBAC 3-role (superadmin - department admin - viewer). Black Box Testing (12/12 scenarios passed) by Manager ial respondents showed that the system was able to significantly speed up the document search process and centralize the management of all SOPs into a single integrated platform.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) has emerged as an innovative medium for delivering interactive information beyond the limitations of traditional promotional tools such as brochures. This study presents the design, development, and evaluation of an Android-based AR application for vocational training institutions. The system employs a marker-based approach to provide interactive three-dimensional visualizations of institutional information, including instructors, training packages, vehicles, and learning materials. Performance testing under various lighting conditions consistently achieved a 100% detection rate, while marker occlusion tests reported an average success rate of 78.33%. The usability evaluation explicitly involved 20 respondents and produced a final overall score of 4.94 out of 5 (98.92%), indicating excellent learnability, efficiency, and user satisfaction. The findings confirm that the proposed AR application offers a practical, innovative, and user-friendly solution for enhancing institutional information delivery and promotional effectiveness.
