Abstract

Peatlands (according to the Governmental Regulation nr 71/2014) can be utilized for agriculture and plantation if the peat depths are less than 3 m or more than 3 m, peatlands have to be conserved or restored. Determining peat depths can be conducted in the fields by intensive surveys which were so expensive, inefficient, and ineffective, therefore it was essential to find our simple alternative methods how to measure peat depths easily. The research aimed to establish a spatially reliable interpolator for peat depth variability by utilizing the kriging method. The research was conducted in Seponjen Village, Kumpeh, Muaro Jambi, Jambi Indonesia. Primary data were processed by applying ArcGIS 10.3 software. The interpolated dataset of peat depths validated their actual dataset and performed an excellent relationship (indicated by a positive correlation coefficient, r = 0.920) and a coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.847). It indicated that the interpolated dataset could be utilized to make maps by kriging. The very deep peat (Site A) and the deep peat (Site B) showed a tendency for a strong autocorrelation of the data distribution of peat depths. Autocorrelation tended to be anisotropic towards the river on the shallow peat (Site C). A good interpolator of peat depth variability can be generated using the kriging method.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of CSR practices (CSR_rep, CSR_com, CSR_ass, and GRI) and ESG performance (ENVscr, SOCscr, and GOVscr) of companies on the level of asymmetric information (bid-ask spread) contained in companies in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. The research method was conducted using a quantitative approach and panel data regression on 40 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, 10 companies listed on the Malaysia Stock Exchange, and 10 companies listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The analysis technique was carried out by multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS20 tool. The results showed that all independent variables, namely CSR practices consisting of CSR_rep, CSR_com, CSR_ass, and GRI and ESG performance consisting of ENVscr, SOCscr, and GOVscr, showed a negative and significant relationship with bid-ask spread. Thus, it can be concluded that the practice of Corporate Social Responsibility and the Environment Social Governance performance has a negative and significant effect on the on corporate asymmetric information as a dependent variable.

Abstract

Structural poverty among coastal communities in Aceh is not merely caused by economic factors and policy issues, but is also shaped by religious relations and social stratification. This study aims to analyze how the interpretation of religious teachings, particularly through the perspective of the Sociology of the Qur’an, constructs and sustains social stratification that perpetuates structural poverty. The research employs a qualitative method using a thematic interpretation (maudhu‘i) approach to relevant Qur’anic verses, combined with observation and in-depth interviews with coastal communities in Aceh. The findings reveal that hierarchical and fatalistic interpretations of religion tend to reinforce the legitimacy of social inequality, whereby impoverished fishermen accept their condition as destiny. In contrast, religious interpretations oriented toward social justice and a critical work ethic—such as the concepts of khalifah (vicegerency) and ‘adl (justice)—can function as forms of resistance against unequal social structures. In conclusion, the relationship between religion and social stratification is ambivalent: it can serve both as a mechanism for reproducing structural poverty and as a source of liberation, depending on the dominant modes of religious interpretation and practice.

Abstract

Financial accountability is a key aspect of achieving transparent and responsible organizational governance. However, various challenges in financial management persist, stemming from low staff competence and the suboptimal use of information technology. This study aims to analyze the impact of staff competence and the use of information technology on financial accountability. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to officials involved in financial management within public sector organizations. Data analysis employed multiple linear regression to test the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results indicate that staff competence has a positive and significant effect on financial accountability. Furthermore, the utilization of information technology was also found to have a positive and significant impact on improving the quality of financial accountability. Simultaneously, both variables contribute significantly to enhancing an organization’s financial accountability. Thus, improving staff competence supported by the optimal utilization of information technology can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen financial accountability and foster more transparent, effective, and accountable financial governance

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Information System at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Witel Lampung-Bengkulu by integrating three main roles: Admin, Government Service, and Shared Service General Support. The main problem identified is that user data, regional data, project opportunities, marketing activities, customer data, customer interactions, and payment monitoring were still mostly managed manually using Microsoft Excel, which could cause data duplication, reporting delays, and input errors. This study applied the Agile method through planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and review stages. The system was developed using PHP with the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and Bootstrap to create a responsive user interface. The developed features include login, user management, regional data management, dashboard, Government Service project opportunity management, marketing activity records, customer data, interaction history, payment monitoring, filters, import, export, and user profile. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing to ensure that each function met user requirements. The resulting system integrates administration, government sales, and customer collection processes into one platform, making data more centralized, monitoring faster, and reporting more accurate and well documented.

Abstract

SMP Negeri 1 Raya is one of the schools that needs an information system to help its academic process. One of the academic processes carried out every year is the admission of new students. Currently, the registration system for new student candidates is carried out by visiting the school and bringing the files that have been previously informed. The problems that occur in the admission process are the accumulation of files so that it takes a long time when looking for certain files, losing files, and it takes a long time to manage new student admission data. This makes the new student admission process inefficient. Based on the problems, this study aims to build a student registration information system that help schools and facilitate parents in the registration process of prospective students. This research uses Waterfall as a system development method with sequential stages. The results of the study show that the information system built is in accordance with the needs and facilitates the registration process of prospective students for schools and parents.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of packaging, digital information, and crowd logistics on distribution performance and their implications for last-mile delivery among food and beverage SMEs utilizing online transportation services in Bandung, Indonesia. The rapid growth of digital-based delivery services has increased operational complexity in urban logistics, particularly regarding delivery accuracy, timeliness, and distribution effectiveness. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using survey data collected from 131 SMEs selected through probability sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS. The findings reveal that packaging, digital information, and crowd logistics positively and significantly affect both distribution and last-mile delivery. In addition, distribution has a positive and significant effect on last-mile delivery performance. Mediation analysis further confirms that distribution partially mediates the relationships between packaging, digital information, crowd logistics, and last-mile delivery. These findings indicate that effective distribution systems strengthen the influence of operational, physical, and digital factors on final delivery performance. This study contributes to the logistics and supply chain literature by proposing an integrative framework that simultaneously combines packaging, digital information, and crowd-based logistics dimensions within a unified last-mile delivery model for online transportation-based SMEs.
