Abstract

While cloud-based warehouse management systems (WMS) have been widely investigated, their integration with Generative AI to trigger automated decisions in medical device reverse logistics remains underexplored. This study aims to develop and evaluate a low-code Google Workspace WMS integrated with Google Gemini API to optimize reverse flow screening and Full Truck Load (FTL) fleet scheduling at PT Roche Indonesia's TG (Teluk Naga) Transit Warehouse. Employing a descriptive qualitative case study, data was gathered through in-depth interviews with 3 key informants, observations, and system logs. Findings reveal that automated age-based screening (< 7 years) efficiently eliminates administrative delays for 'Destroy' status instruments. Establishing a 75% volumetric load capacity trigger—for both Colt Diesel Double (15 m3 / 4,000 kg) and Tronton Wingbox (48 m3 / 15,000 kg) fleets—proves operationally justified by providing a 25% void-space buffer and a 3-working-day 3PL pickup lead time. Generative AI integration successfully transforms WMS into a proactive decision-triggering mechanism, while user technology readiness acts as a crucial enabler. This research extends the IS Success Model and Technology Readiness Index while offering actionable insights to eliminate warehouse overcapacity risks.

Abstract

Organic coconut sugar exports depend on claims about origin and process that buyers cannot verify directly, so exporting firms are increasingly required to make their information verifiable. Previous studies have examined traceability systems and business ethics separately and have rarely tested how transparency reaches performance, which constitutes the research gap of this study. This study analyses the effect of information transparency on business ethics and firm performance and tests the mediating role of business ethics in organic coconut sugar exporting companies in Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Questionnaires were completed by 100 respondents drawn purposively from 350 employees of two exporting companies and processed with partial least squares structural equation modelling. Information transparency has a positive and significant effect on business ethics and explains 74.5 percent of its variance, while its direct effect on firm performance is not significant. Business ethics affects firm performance significantly and fully mediates the relationship, and together the two constructs explain 63.1 percent of the variance in firm performance. The novelty of this study lies in positioning information transparency as an antecedent of corporate governance and in identifying ethical conduct as the mechanism that converts verifiable information into export performance.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online health information resources has made it difficult for users, as well as providers of healthcare, to cope with large volumes of information that are becoming increasingly complex. Hence, there is an urgent demand for developing new advanced recommendation techniques in the healthcare domain to enhance decision-making processes. However, most current health recommendation systems, which recommend personalized healthcare services and items such as diagnoses, medications, and doctors based on users' health conditions and needs, are hindered by the data sparsity issue that compromises the reliability of their recommendations. In this paper, we intend to address this issue by proposing a Trust-aware Multi-Criteria Collaborative Filtering model for recommendation services in the healthcare domain. This model leverages multi-criteria ratings and integrates user-item trust relationships to improve the precision and coverage of recommendations, thus facilitating more informed healthcare choices that align closely with their individual needs. Our empirical analysis on two healthcare multicriteria rating datasets, including those with sparse data, shows the proposed model's superior performance over existing baseline methods. On the RateMDs dataset, our model improved the average MAE by 24% and RMSE by 19% compared to baseline methods. For the WebMD dataset, it enhanced the average MAE by 6% and RMSE by 2%. In sparse data scenarios, the model boosted the average MAE by 18% and Coverage by 6% compared to baseline approaches.

Abstract

This study reports on the incorporation of technology readiness models in information system (IS) success models in the context of assessing readiness factors and the success of information system integration in the equestrian sports industry in Indonesia. As found in several information systems studies, many IS models are developed by adopting, combining, and adapting previous models. Researchers developed this model based on input-process-output logic and processional and causal models of information system success models. The developed model is structured by involving 12 variables and 62 indicators. The path of influence between variables is described by 30 links. In the research implementation stage, the model is also broken down into more detailed assessment instruments. Although these model development studies may have limitations on the assumptions used and the researchers' understanding, they can make theoretical contributions, particularly in terms of proposed new models. In addition, transparency in model development, proposed models, and data collection instruments may also be a practical consideration for advanced research in the context of readiness and successful implementation of information systems in the equestrian sports industry in Indonesia

Abstract

Social media has become an essential tool in contemporary marketing strategies, allowing brands to enhance consumer engagement and foster trust. This study examines the direct effects of visual appeal and product information on brand satisfaction and positive Word of Mouth (WOM) in the context of Samsung’s social media campaigns. The research aims to provide empirical insights into how specific content elements drive consumer satisfaction and WOM, which are critical factors in expanding a brand’s digital influence. Data were collected from 132 active social media users frequently exposed to Samsung’s advertisements. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach was employed to analyze the relationships between variables. The results indicate that visual appeal significantly impacts brand satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.419, T-statistic = 3.765, P-value = 0.000) and WOM (path coefficient = 0.221, T-statistic = 2.437, P-value = 0.015). Product information also shows a significant influence on brand satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.337, T-statistic = 3.126, P-value = 0.002) and WOM (path coefficient = 0.320, T-statistic = 3.795, P-value = 0.000). Additionally, brand satisfaction strongly contributes to positive WOM (path coefficient = 0.458, T-statistic = 7.191, P-value = 0.000). The findings emphasize the critical role of high-quality visual and informational content in fostering brand satisfaction and promoting WOM. The novelty of this research lies in its detailed examination of how visual appeal and product information independently influence consumer outcomes, offering actionable insights for marketers. This study contributes to the growing literature on digital marketing by providing evidence-based recommendations for optimizing social media strategies in highly competitive and digitally connected marketplaces.
