Abstract

A company's trade receivables are generally one of the largest assets of current assets and the largest part of total assets. The provision of receivables carries a risk to the company in the form of losses if the consumer does not pay his obligations. Control of internal receivables in a company is one of the methods used to anticipate fraud and anticipate the possibility of uncollectible accounts. In controlling internal receivables, a receivables information system is needed to improve effectiveness and efficiency, maintain assets, provide accurate information, encourage compliance with regulations and management requirements that have been set. This study aims to determine the condition of the influence of end users on trade receivables using the EUC method at PT. Katama. The review process using EUC produces the level of influence of each EUC component on the user.

Abstract

PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia employee appraisal data is processed conventionally by means of the Human Capital Business & Support print data points whose assessments must be filled out by their respective division heads, where after being printed the data is delivered to each division to be filled by each division supervisor then documents that have been filled in and signed by their respective division supervisors and returned by the Human Capital Business & Support division to be recorded. The objectives are to produce annual appraisal data for each employee and division, and there are company assessments made by VP Human Capital Business & Support and approved by the director is also still done conventionally. Even though the management has been organized, this method is still not optimal because in addition to requiring a long time and there are still operating paper documents, this method also has many weaknesses. The purpose of this research is to be able to build an information system that can be utilized by PT Aerotrans Services Indonesia to help process employee and company assessment data easily, quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa menjadi salah satu keberhasilan proses belajar-mengajar, dimana semakin baik usaha siswa dalam belajar, maka semakin baik prestasi belajar siswa. akan tetapi persoalannya tidak semua siswa memiliki peningkatan prestasi belajar. Persoalan tidak adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa menjadi persoalan dalam proses belajar mengajar untuk segera dicarikan solusinya. Hal ini juga terjadi di SMK Negeri I Surakarta Jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran pada mata pelajaran memahami prinsip-prinsip penyelenggaraan administrasi perkantoran mengalami persoalan dalam prestasi belajar yang diberikan dikelas X AP 1 dan X AP 2. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas dimana pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, obesrvasi, dokumentasi, tes hasil belajar mengajar. Sedangkan validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teknik trianggulasi, selanjutnya analisis data yang digunakan yaitu melakukan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dengan metode pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dengan media berbasis Information Communication Technology (ICT) ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Tiap siklus dilaksanakan dalam 4 kali pertemuan, dimana masing-masing pertemuan berlangsung selama 90 menit. Penerapan Metode pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dengan media berbasis Information Communication Technology (ICT) telah dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Dimana pada penerapan metode pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dengan media berbasis Information Communication Technology (ICT), siswa diajak untuk serta dalam semua proses pembelajaran, tidak hanya mental tetapi juga melibatkan fisik. Dengan variasi pembelajaran yang terdiri dari diskusi kelompok dan presentasi membuat siswa merasakan suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan dan materi yang disajikan dalam bentuk slide menjadi lebih mudah dipahami.

Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder that usually occurs in early childhood. In general there are three types of behavior associated with this disorder, namely: inattentiveness, impulsiveness, and hyperactivity. ADHD mental illness can only be recognized through changes in patient behavior. In this study, the data used using 45 features, where the number of features can affect the performance and accuracy of the classification method. Feature selection aims to reduce features that are of equal importance to make classification algorithms easier to operate more quickly and effectively so as to produce better accuracy. The method to be used for the selection of features is the Information Gain method. The use of the Information Gain method in this case is to select the best features that have relevance to the related data. These features are selected based on the magnitude of the gain value obtained, where the greater the gain value, the more relevant the feature is with the related data. The best average accuracy results obtained from this system are obtained in the second test scenario with the highest average accuracy value of 88% obtained at k = 37 and k = 42 and the number of features 36 and 41, and at k = 1 in testing without using Information Gain. These results indicate the use of the Information Gain feature selection method in this case has a fairly good accuracy value.

Abstract

Human activity recognition is one of the popular topics on both academic and commercial researchers. Some researchers have tried to classify human activity recognition but the result is unsatisfactory. Moreover, there is another problem with high dimensional human activity recognition dataset. The high dimensional of data set takes a longer computational time and makes the classification model be overfitting. One method that can be used to solve those problems is the classification using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm and Information Gain as selection feature method. Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm is a suitable method for continuous dataset and Information Gain is one of the filter methods in feature selection that can work well on high-dimensional dataset. This research also conducted various tests on some parameters such as the optimal number of features and the maximum depth tree that be used. Based on the test that has been done obtained the accuracy of 81% with 90% of the total number of all features (561 features) and 10 for the maximum depth for the tree.

Abstract

Intermittent credit is one of the problems or risks that are often faced by some auto loan service providers. The problem stems from the debtor's behavior, namely not paying the installments on time. In determining the smoothness of credit payments depends on the analysis of debtor data, but analyzing for large amounts of data can take up more time. This study uses the Information Gain feature selection and the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to overcome the problem of effectiveness and determine the accuracy of the classification level of the smoothness of auto loan payments so as to determine the effect of feature selection. Information Gain feature selection which is used to reduce feature dimensions so that relevant features can be obtained. The selected features are then processed for classification using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Based on testing from this study, the highest accuracy obtained is 94.44% when testing with a balanced class distribution using the number of features 3 and the value of K = 4 while the lowest accuracy is obtained at 33.33% using the number of features 10 with a value of K = 5 when testing with uneven class distribution. Features that produce the highest accuracy are jobs, income and price on the road (OTR). The three features are features with the largest order of gain values and have a gain value of more than 0.1.

Abstract

In 2016, Indonesia has 132 million internet users. This number increase to 143 million users in 2017. Internet user can access many things such as chatting services, social media, and e-commerce. There are many people who intentionally make false information known as Hoax. Hoax are information or news that contains uncertain facts or events that have not occured. The problem of spreading Hoax can be reduced by making a system that can classify whether a news is a Hoax or not. The method used in this research is Maximum Entropy with Information Gain Fiture Selection. The amount of data used in this research is 600 articles in Indonesian. There are 372 news articles classified as facts and 228 news articles classifed as Hoax. The amount of best results accuracy in this research is 0,8 with information information gain fiture selection (threshold = 50%), 1 precision, 0,8 recall, and 0,89 f-measure.

Abstract

Unit Data Access Management & Inventory (UDAMI) is one division of Telkom Regional 5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are a set of quantitative measures used by companies or organizations to measure and compare performance in terms of meeting their strategic and operational goals. The obstacle in UDAMI is that KPI reporting is still done manually. All UDAMI employees use android smartphones in their daily activities. Therefore, Access Information Support System (AISS) application based on android was created to replace the conventional KPI reporting business process to digital. In its development, AISS uses the prototype method because UDAMI needs have not been fully defined at the beginning. Based on the results of unit and validation testing, the results obtained are 100% valid which means that the AISS application runs according to the needs. The results of usability testing using the task scenario method and using the USE questionnaire method showed 100% for the task scenario method and the results of 96.20% for the USE questionnaire method. This shows that the success rate of the AISS application included to the category very well in answering the problem KPI. The results of the compatibility testing get a 100% feasibility percentage which indicates that the AISS application can run very well on different Android devices.

Abstract

En el Ecuador es común observar como cada cierto periodo de tiempo los políticos se comunican con el ciudadano elector por medio de grandes campañas publicitarias con el fin de lograr obtener un cargo en el sector público; el artículo analiza el significado del derecho a recibir información veraz, utilizando para ello el método teórico de inducción al partir del fenómeno jurídico político publicitario, para obtener premisas generales en pos de que el elector reciba información de calidad y no sea engañado por el candidato. El derecho a la información es abordado en el primer apartado para luego continuar con la información política en el Ecuador, posteriormente la información veraz es analizada, culminando con el diagnostico de algunas propuestas de campaña jamás llevadas a cabo. El trabajo concluye en que la información política que engaña al ciudadano es publicitada debido a la falta de regulación estatal lo cual provoca la vulneración del derecho de los ciudadanos a recibir una información veraz y verificada en la campaña política.
