Abstract

Spatial agglomeration and industrial competitiveness are currently two key issues in the study of China’s electronic information industrial development. Based on the data for 1995 - 2010, this paper establishes the indicator system to evaluate the competitiveness of regional electronic information industry. In this paper, location Gini coefficient and the indicator of concentration rate are applied to analyze the characteristics and historical evolution of China’s electronic information industrial agglomeration, while benchmarking analysis is also applied to evaluate the competitiveness of provincial regional electronic information industry. The correlation between industrial agglomeration and industrial competitiveness is analyzed in this study. There is a significant positive correlation between them at present. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i7.2854

Abstract

In order to deal with the problem of low categorization accuracy of minority class of the uneven forestry information text classification algorithm, this paper puts forward the uneven forestry information text classification algorithm based on weighted Gauss-Newton neural network, on the basis of weighted Gauss-Newton algorithm, the algorithm is proved via singular value decomposition principle. The experimental result shows that the algorithm has higher classification accuracy of majority class and minority class than algorithm of common classification. The algorithm expands a new method for the research on the uneven forestry information text classification algorithm. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4388

Abstract

The current situation and existing problems in university informationisation was given briefly, with object of university information service development. It proposed the method to develop information service, including both model design and technology realization on basis of main database. A system, which covers the core data resource of the university and implements one-stop information service has been designed and realized. Integrated with R-ABAC, Portal and dynamic reports, it provided comprehensive inquiry and statistical analysis service of all kinds of information for all the teachers, students and all levels of managerial staff, which applied in individual management, business management and decision making, which serves talents training, the basic task of universities. DOI : http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v12i5.4948

Abstract

To solve customer complaints better for some telecommunication enterprises, a new and efficient approach through combined rasterization of Geography Information System (GIS) is presented in this paper. By the combined rasterization of surface features and landforms, the historical customer complaints and the real-time running state of network will be utilized to handle new complaints simultaneously. Also, an innovative process to handle complaints is proposed, too. The utilization of method and process will shorten the time of processing routine customer complaints. The experimental results show that the efficiency to process customer complaints will be improved greatly and the operation expenditure on customer services for telecommunication operators will be also decreased than before. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i9.2279

Abstract

In order to solve the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) 3-d track planning problems, according to UAV flight are subject to different threats, UAV flight track was established optimal decision-making system, and the fuel consumption, radar threats, missile threats, anti-aircraft threats and atmosphere threats are determined as the evaluation index of objective function, and optimal mathematical model of UAV flight track is constructed. Experience evaluation method is often used to Weight calculation, but there is certain subjectivity .Therefore information entropy method is adopted to determine the Weights by the set of track plans. Grey incidence analysis method is applied to deal with the gray correlation information between the various indicators and to solve the model. Finally, the optimal model is used to scheme selection for flight track planning problem with four threat radar points, five missile threat points, six artillery threat points and four climate threat points to the threat point of flight track planning scheme options. And get the flight track with the best overall performance and Minimum Comprehensive cost, the research provides a theoretical basis for further studying the three-dimensional UAV flight track optimization. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v10i8.1635

Abstract

Due to the high mobility of nodes in DTN, the topology is changing forever. On this base, putting forward an efficient routing protocol becomes a hot topic in this area. Focus on the moving character of nodes, putting forward a routing algorithm in DTN (BMI) based on perceptions of node mobile information. This algorithm improved from the classical routing protocol spray and wait. First, change the wait phase to active routing. Then consider the moving information of meeting nodes and purpose nodes, choose a node which has a higher possibility to meet the purpose node. Simulation results show that, this algorithm can significantly improve the delivery ratio and reduce the delay. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.11591/telkomnika.v11i8.3065

Abstract

Nowadays solving practical problems in various sectors using intelligent solutions, based on expert systems are becoming more and more widespread. In this paper an expert system method is proposed for assessment and prediction of destructive influences. All disadvantages of existing assessment systems are taken into account during the development and analysis phases. The most important estimated parameters are determined. This method is based on quantitative methods of expert evaluation, which gives the advantage: there is no need to collect large amounts of statistical data and clear formalization of the current situation.

Abstract

In data mining, discrimination is the detrimental behavior of the people which is extensively studied in human society and economical science. However, there are negative perceptions about the data mining. Discrimination has two categories; one is direct, and another is indirect. The decisions depend on sensitive information attributes are named as direct discrimination, and the decisions which depend on non-sensitive information attributes are called as indirect discrimination which is strongly related with biased sensitive ones. Privacy protection has become another one of the most important problems in data mining investigation.  To overcome the above issues, an Efficient Association Representative Rule Concealing (EARRC) algorithm is proposed to protect sensitive information or knowledge and offer privacy protection with the classification of the sensitive data. Representative rule concealing is one kind of the privacy-preserving mechanisms to hide sensitive association rules. The objective of this paper is to reduce the alternation of the original database and perceive that there is no sensitive association rule is obtained. The proposed method hides the sensitive information by altering the database without modifying the support of the sensitive item. The EARRC is a type of association classification approach which integrates the benefits of both associative classification and rule-based PART (Projective Adaptive Resonance Theory) classification. Based on Experimental computations, proposed EARRC+PART classifier improves 1.06 NMI and 5.66 Accuracy compared than existing methodologies.

Information technology has played a vital factor in a competitive advantage for various business firms recently. Hence, catching up Investment of IT in most of the traditional industries for competitiveness purposes due to the relationship between organizational performance and IT use. In this study, attendanceand management information system (AMIS) was presented in the industry field based on multi-modules. Modules are management information, time- scheduling and attendance, and employee self- service module. The system used VB.NET environment for programming perspective as well MS SQL server for database storage. The system is secure and robust recordkeeping, keep employee up to date via self- service access, easy to use (simplified) and powerful time and attendance, active work schedules to make an employee happy and keep workers in the loop, as well, review and exporting different reports for staff manager, supervisor, and employee such as absence, vacation, time-off, employee wages, and etc.
