Abstract

Abstract

The writing of this Journal aims to explain the design of the KB service information system that is available at the Pratama Clinic Salatiga. As for the background of making this journal because Indonesia is one of the countries that has the largest population in the world and this happens because the number of births in Indonesia that cannot be controlled. Although the government has launched a KB that is applied by using contraceptives, it has not been able to overcome the problems that occur. The number of uncontrolled births is due to the large number of families who complain about the use of contraceptives. Expensive, difficult to obtain and uncomfortable when used is an excuse for those who do not want to use contraception so that the number of births cannot be controlled, besides that along with the development of existing KB services it is increasingly ignored because people prefer things that are practical and do not like to follow complicated programs or services such as family planning services so that it causes more and more people who are lazy to attend family planning and have an impact on increasing numbers birth. Seeing from the phenomena above, the thought is formed that service information systems are really needed in the current era of development, especially to facilitate all the work that cannot be done in a short time. So from this the special information system design was made in the field of family planning services in the Pratama Clinic in the form of a journal. In this journal, it explains about how a family planning service can be accessed easily without wasting too much time so that the public wants to participate in the family planning service. One way that can be done is to establish an information system that can be used for family planning services with a system that is easily understood and accessed by the general public.

Abstract

As a progressing Islamic movement and one of the most prominent Islamic organizations, Muhammadiyah does not only focus on the religious field but also charity ventures in the fields of education, social, and health. Muhammadiyah's potential in developing its charity venture in the health sector is enormous. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of organizational communication in the process of coordinating the integration of the Muhammadiyah health information system. This qualitative research used a case study approach and in-depth interviews, observation, and archival documents, as the data collection technique. This research showed that the integration of health information systems in Muhammadiyah is challenging to realize due to the high potential of the sectoral ego in the process of managing the Muhammadiyah Healthcare Charity Venture (AUMKES). Supervising Council of General Wellbeing (MPKU) as an assembly responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising the management of the health sector in Muhammadiyah needs to strengthen its capacity, especially in the area of organizational communication management. This is because MPKU PPM has not had enough power and legitimacy in uniting the perceptions of each RSMA manager.

Abstract

Pandemic outbreaks of COVID-19 have made customers take drastic steps to help world governments to prevent further spread, one of which is by social distancing. This policy made buying and selling online a convenient option to fulfill the needs for goods and/or services. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of use and satisfaction of e-commerce customers in the COVID-19 pandemic period with the information system success model (ISSM) approach that was formed through system quality, information quality, and service quality. The research method used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents of 206 e-commerce costumers. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) where the results confirm that system quality, information quality, service quality, affected the level of use and user satisfaction of e-commerce customers. E-commerce companies are recommended to maintain, even improve system quality and information quality because information that is less interesting, less relevant, and difficult to understand results in low information quality, which in turn, can reduce the level of use and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Agility of science and technology in communication has brought a new dimension of information dissemination, which may have influenced human perceptions, especially on the dissemination of news pertaining to this pandemic. This research aims to determine the students’ sources of information regarding the COVID-19 disease and investigate their intention to share the information pertaining to COVID-19. A survey study was designed using an online questionnaire involving 147 higher education students. The online questionnaire; measures three elements of the students’ intention, namely initiative, desire and resourcefulness. The findings; the sources of information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic are mainly the government authorities and local healthcare workers. The most preferred medium of information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic is social media, and the most trusted medium is the television broadcast. Also, finding suggests that the students take initiative to verify information and demonstrate a desire to share credible and right information with their family and friends through social media. As such, in an effort or attempt to disseminate credible information about any important matters to the general public, the government can count on students as agents for transmitting the information to third parties including their family and friends.

Abstract

Information Communication Technology (ICT) has encouraged e-government implementation to improve government institution performance in society, business and fellow government institutions. Many Information Systems (IS) are created and used, but not all of them are successful. This is contrary to the expectations that were mentioned earlier. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to identify factors that influence e- government adoption. This paper presents a case study of information system adoption in a government institution. The study was conducted using TOE methods. Data were collected using qualitative method and subsequently processed using Qualitative Data Analysis tools. Results indicated that all factors analyzed in TOE framework influenced IS adoption. However, not all factors were properly conducted. Therefore, they need to be developed to address difficulties in IS adoption so it will meet the e-government implementation expectation.

Abstract

One of the public facilities that use websites is the hospital. However, there are some shortcomings complained by users related to the hospital website, which is the lack of information, confusing view of the menu, etc. Therefore, we need the information architecture to manage related content and website structure. The build of information architecture is done by using a bottom-up approach in card sorting. There are five stages in the research, which the first stage is a strategy to equalize the goal in the development of the hospital website either from the point of view of the organization or company and the user's point of view of the hospital website. The second stage is a scope to find out what are the needs of the user in order to build the hospital website. The third stage is structure, which is the formation of the initial structure of information architecture by using a bottom-up approach to the card sorting method. The type of card sorting that is commonly used is the open card sorting. The fourth stage is the skeleton stage, which is used to make information architecture model design using wireframe and prototype. The fifth stage is the test using findability testing and usability testing. From the test, the design of information architecture is made to fulfill the desires and needs of users, as proven by the results of findability testing achieved 15.9 seconds, and the results of usability testing achieved 80.33. Hence, by the results of these tests, it can be concluded that the design of information architecture at the hospital website has a good value from findability testing and usability testing.
