Abstract

Measles is a very contagious disease which continues to become the killer disease for most of the childrenand infants. On the other side Rubella Infection also is deadly dangerous especially in the vulnerablepopulation of pregnant women where it disables a child for life with congenital rubella syndrome1. Thismay leads blindness, deafness, and other congenital cardiac defects. Bothe the diseases, however, can beprevented with a safe and effective vaccination of the long term immunity2. This immunization directlycontributes to the reduction of under-five child deaths across the country population, thereby reducing thedisabilities. The present study title: “A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Information, Education andcommunication on Knowledge and Practice regarding MR Vaccination among the Mothers in Selected SlumAreas of Pune City.” The main purpose of the study was to assess the knowledge, practice and to evaluatethe effectiveness of IEC regarding MR vaccination among mothers of selected slum areas of Pune city andto determine associations of the findings with socio demographic variable. Material and Methods: A Preexperimental, one group-Pre- test post-test design was adopted for study . Study carried out on 80 samplesas below 15yrs. children in selected slum area. The non-probability convenience sampling technique wasused to collect the data through structured questionnaire and observational checklist. Ethical clearancewas Obtained from Institutional ethics committee. Data analysis was done mainly using descriptive andinfrantial statistics. Abstract

Flash flood is a natural disaster that often occurs after heavy rain, and it is getting more common nowadays. The  flood early warning and response system (FEWRS) can be installed to minimize the level of damage and the number of casualties due to flood by providing accurate and reliable flood data. Unfortunately, the existing number of studies detailing on the factors affecting the efficiency of FEWRS in flood disaster is quite limited. The above issue is addressed in the current work, which involves conducting a comprehensive literature review on the factors that drive the effectiveness of information systems (IS) in FEWRS. The current analysis was based on the Wymer and Regan's standards. From the 66 factors identified from the previous studies on IS adoption, the most significant factors affecting the effectiveness of FEWRS are: system quality, information quality, user satisfaction, service quality, use, perceived usefulness, intention to use,net benefits, perceived ease of use, compatibility, user experience, relative advantage, complexity, perceivedrisks, educational quality, and confirmation, these factors can be constructed to the success model to address the effectiveness of FEWRS in disaster management.

Abstract

E-shops are among the most conventional applications of Electronic Commerce. In these shops, the buyers search for their goods through key words or classifications and read the product description provided by the sellers. Though, when the number of items is high, this gets to be difficult for the users. On the one hand, there are too many e-shops, and browsing in these shops to find the best and most appropriate goods is a difficult and time-consuming process. On the other hand, product descriptions are not the same in different websites, and there are different product forms. This study investigates about products and sellers in various websites based on the conditions and user requirements through software agents which present the extracted information in the form of a table to the users which enables them to compare prices and each seller’s conditions without spending too much time for browsing. Using this method increases precision and recall indices comparing to a conventional user browsing.

Abstract

This paper discusses the design of the architecture of an information fusion processor. This processor emulates the way of human thinking, namely by drawing conclusions from the obtained collection of information. Architecture design for this processor is based on Knowledge Growing System (KGS) algorithm. KGS is a novelty in Artificial Intelligence field. Compared to other AI methods, KGS focuses on the observation of the process of the knowledge growth within human brain based on information received from the surrounding environment. By using KGS algorithm, this processor works by receiving inputs from a set of sensors and possible hypotheses obtained after the processing of the information. The processor generates a value which is called as Degree of Certainty (DoC), which show the most possible hypothesis among all alternative ones. The Processor Elements which are used to perform KGS algorithm is designed based on systolic array architecture. The design of this processor is realized with VHSIC Hardware Design Language (VHDL) and synthesized by using FPGA Quartus II.13.1. The results show that the data path which has been design is able to perform the mechanism of KGS computation.

Abstract

Various web-based information systems are developed by Indonesian government to improve quality of services for their society. It encourages users, generally civil servants, to perform different authentications on used information systems and have to remember credentials. Account management of the users poses another challenge for administrators. Single Sign-On (SSO) can be the solution by providing a service of centralized authentication and user account management. This study applies a token-based SSO architecture and uses Json Web Token (JWT) to grant permission authorities, since JWT can provide a claim process between 2 parties. Additionally, the built-in dashboard lists associated information systems to facilitate accessing for the authenticated users. This study will discuss JWT implementation on the dashboard of government information systems that implements SSO, which will generate the permission authorities securely for connected information systems on SSO.

Abstract

The increasingly inexpensive Internet has spurred the growth of online information system services in various companies. Almost all services are available in forms on web or mobile applications. For small companies, this particular system is more difficult to implement as it requires a substantial cost allocated for hosting, domain and server devices. The solution is to develop a framework for building information system services through Instant Messaging (IM) such as Telegram, Line or XMPP / Jabber using the Design Science Research Methodology. This proposed framework has the ability to transform the existing information system services into chat services with RBAC role, session, validation and natural interaction using Indonesian-language conversations. The framework that consists of Initiate layers, business process and communication, memory group and OLTP DBMS will produce low-cost solution for the development of integrated information systems service.
