This study aims to determine the level of eligibility of the application of staffing information systems as a learning media for automation of staffing governance in the Vocational. This research method uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques are done using a questionnaire and analysis of needs using quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of the feasibility test on the application of the staffing information system as a learning media for automation of the governance of staffing above it was concluded that the application of the staffing information system can be categorized as very suitable for use in the learning process in the Vocational School in the Field of Automation and Office Management. Based on the results of the assessment of material experts, validation of media experts, expert practitioners and materials that show the results of the assessment of 89.2% of material experts; 95% assessment of media experts; 90% of expert practitioners, so the application is very feasible to use in the learning process.

Technological expansion and the changing way individuals gain access to information has deeply impacted the structure of libraries – physically as well as conceptually. A new generation of digital services platforms for libraries is emerging, designed to provide a more comprehensive approach to the management and access to all formats of library materials. Despite the modernization of libraries and their adaption to the digital age, the library still hold a critical role within community to serve its users, continuing to be beacons of information sharing, learning, and entertainment even amidst tight fiscal times.As one of the leading university in Indonesia, Bogor Agricultural University Library must find solutions to new challenges, overhaul many of their entrenched business processes, and foster systems that engage students.This study examined the information seeking behavior of the digital native and digital immigrant students of Bogor Agricultural University, in order to remind the library that there are some changes happened in its users and to recommend the new services should be taken by the library. The similarities and differences in seeking information of those two group students were discussed.

The Impact of B-Learning Modality to Information and Communication Technology Competence of Pedagogical Student Dung The Nguyen

The most practical way to convince the pedagogical students see the effectiveness of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching is to put them into a rich learning environment of technology applications and show them the effect of such learning. In (Dung Nguyen The and Thanh N.T., 2017b), we have proposed ICT competence framework to evaluate ICT competence of pedagogical students in informatics specialized. Frame of this competence, including 7 competence components with 17 criteria. Based on this framework, we have studied the impact of learning in blended learning (B-learning) modality to the competence to apply ICT in teaching of preservice teacher. The results are analyzed and assessed below.

The use of computer system is growing rapidly and there is growing concern on the environmental hazard associated with its use. Thus, the need for every user’s to possess the knowledge of using computer in an environmental friendly manner. This study therefore, investigated the knowledge of green computing possessed by university students in Nigeria. To achieve this, survey method was employed to carry out the study. The study involved students from three schools (Computer Science, Engineering, and Education). Purposive sampling method was used to draw three hundred (300) respondents that volunteer to answer the questionnaire administered for gathering the data of the study. The instrument used was adapted but modify and subjected to pilot testing to ascertain its validity and internal consistency. The reliability of the instrument showed a .75 Cronbach alpha level. The first research question was answer with descriptive statistic (perecentage). T-test and ANOVA was used to answer question two and three. The findings showed that the students do not possess adequate knowledge on conscious use of computing system. Also, the study showed that there is no significant difference in the green computing knowledge possesses among male and female as well as among student from the three schools. Based on these findings, the study suggested among other an aggressive campaign on green computing among university communities.

Information communication technology is essential for any organisation to stay competitive, and in the education sector it has helped in enhancing modern ways of learning and teaching; therefore helping in delivering high quality education and preparing students for the information and technology era. Studies have acknowledged its importance from early primary education to that of a positive impact. However, Botswana’s’ primary education system hardly adopts and use it despite the country’s government promotion of its adoption, and efforts channeled to promoting its usage. Therefore, this study sought to understand barriersassociated with its adoption in primary education in Botswana with a view of recommending ways to fortify its adoption.The research followed the quantitative approach, with a questionnaire distributed in selected primary schools. Findings indicated a low rate of ICT utilisation, lack of basic ICT skills, lack of infrastructure amongst the key barriers to ICT adoption and utilisation in the primary education system. In conclusion there is need of implementation of policies enforcing adoption and utilisation of information communication technology and the need of involvement of all stakeholders to be involved to promote it. Lastly rigorous training to have qualified personnel to spearhead the adoption and utilisation is essential.

In this thesis discuss the effect of Information Technology Application on Organizational Performance through Cross Functional Team and Total Quality Management Implementation on the company. In this study using primary data with 102 population and 50 samples of manufacturing companies using data collection methods, namely 5 points Likert scale in the form of questionnaires distributed in companies that are open or closed that have large and medium industrial groups on firm manufacturing in East Java. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling analysis techniques, also called path modeling with SmartPLS tools. The questionnaire collected was 57 questionnaires. The result showed that the effect of Information Technology Application on Organizational Performance was significant. The results showed that the effect of Information Technology Application on Cross Functional Team was significant, the result showed that the effect of Information Technology Application on Total Quality Management Implementation was significant, the result showed that the effect of Cross-Functional Team on Organizational Performance was significant, the result showed that the effect of Cross-Functional Team on Total Quality Management Implementation was significant and the result showed that the effect of Total Quality Management Implementation on Organizational Performance was significant in firms manufacturing in East Java.

Traveloka is one of the solutions in providing the best service for consumers who want to travel between cities and countries. Traveloka users up to 2018 are quite numerous, but it is not yet known how far the quality is given in meeting consumer needs. This study aims to determine the extent of the quality of information systems from Traveloka in meeting the needs of the Indonesian people. The research method uses literature based on information obtained through the phenomena that occur today and previous research. The results of this literature study show that the quality of Traveloka in Indonesia is relatively good with some previous research results stating that the quality of information and services affects customer satisfaction. Other variables that influence are found on the quality of the website and payment system. This research contributes to giving customers an overview of Traveloka's quality that can be trusted and provides an overview for new business people in developing business in the field of tour & travel which are promising to date.

The management information system used in the organization has now increased when seen from its efficiency and effectiveness. The initial stage of developing management information systems aims to improve the efficiency of activities in the organization. So that it is considered as part of a comprehensive organizational strategy. An important focus of MIS is on data collection. Because organizations are said to be successful if the quality of data collection is high. Management information systems also aim at decision making in an organization. The overall review of the literature highlights that management information systems play a major role in decision making in an organization. So the expected results of the study explain specifically the role of management information system in managerial decision making.

Signaling theory suggests that when high-quality entities signal their potentials such as intellectual capital to the market, its participants (e.g., investors) re-evaluate their worth and make informed decisions therefrom. This paper examines the consequences of intellectual capital disclosures with respect to firm value, information asymmetry, and cost of capital. Voluntary intellectual capital disclosure (ICD, measured in index) affects firm value (FV, measured in Tobinâ€™s Q) through reducing both information asymmetry (IA, measured in bid-ask spread) and cost of capital (COC, measured in weighted average cost of capital). 67 Indonesian manufacturers were purposively selected whose financial reports published in Indonesian Stock Exchange official website and Bloomberg provide the data for the research. A research model is estimated to the data through a partial least square analysis. Results provides substantial evidence on the positive effect of ICD on FV and negative effect on IA; negative effect of IA on FV; negative effect of COC on FV; and positive effect of IA on COC. On a separate analysis, IA is shown to significantly mediate the relationship between ICD and FV.

Supply chain management is vital for manufacturing companies in connecting suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and corporate customers. The company's products will enter the company's distribution system through distributors, retailers, and end customers. This study examines how to enhance retailer satisfaction by taking into account the application of information technology, supply chain management practices, and retailer-distributor relationships. This study surveyed 86 modern retailers using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data processing used PLS. The results showed that the information technology significantly improves the retailer-distributor relationships with a coefficient of 0.303. Also, information technology affects supply chain management practices with a coefficient of 0.527. Information technology has an effect of 0.281 on retailer satisfaction. The company implementing supply chain management practice improves the retailer-distributor relationship by 0.518, and supply chain management practice affects retailer satisfaction by 0.291. The results also showed that the retailer-distributor relationship affects retailer satisfaction by 0.358. This research provides an insight for the practitioner on how to improve the retailer satisfaction. This paper also contributes to the ongoing research in the field of supply chain management.
