Abstract

Jepara is a city called carving city because it has a large furniture and carving industrypotential. Tahunan Subdistrict is an area located in Jepara regency with the biggest potential of the furniture industry compared to other districts. Everyone who wants to buy furniture from Tahunan may visit the showroom which is located not far from the main road because of the limited information about the potential of furniture, especially small and medium business category in less strategic locations. Judging from these problems, it is necessary to make an information system about the potential of furniture in Tahunan district based on android that is easy to use and integrated with Geographic Information System (GIS) to make it  easier for users to find directions to the location. The system development method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with Construct 2 as the maker of the application.

Abstract

The Sea Beach Cahaya is one of the rising beach attractions in Kendal Regency, Central Java. In general, the tourism object of The Sea Pantai Cahaya still does not use many computer systems in their daily lives. As with tourism ticket purchases and also entrance tickets, vehicles that still use ticket paper as proof of payment, it is often disrupted if it is still fussing with the queue conditions and questions by visitors. On the other hand, report data collection is still considered slow.One way to overcome the above problems is to make a ticket payment system that is computerized using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method, replace paper tickets with a card model and also use the network to shorten report generation.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPasang surut air laut merupakan parameter yang sangat penting bagi navigasi di pelabuhan, Pusat Riset Kelautan,Marine & Coastal Data Laboratory(MCDL) membuat prediksi pasang surutdi 39 pelabuhan seluruh Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sistem informasiprediksi pasang surut berbasis android dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman Java, GoogleMaps Api sebagai basemapnya dan data prediksi pasang surut yang dihasilkan oleh MCDL.Informasi yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk grafik dan data tabel untuk 14 hari kedepan (2 minggu),dengan resolusi temporal per jam dengan pemuktahiran (update) informasi per 14 hari. Dalamaplikasi android prediksi pasang surut (pasut) terdiri dari 4 menu yaitu Pelabuhan, Glosarium,About, Disclaimer. Menu Pelabuhan menampilan informasi nama pelabuhan perikanan. Menu Glosarium berisikan informasi daftar istilah pasang surut. Menu About berisikan informasi pemilikaplikasi yang bertujuan untuk pengguna dapat berinteraksi dengan pemilih aplikasi. Menu Dis-claimer (penyanggahan) berisikan informasi bahwa informasi perkiraan pasut ini digunakansebagai rujukan (referensi) ketinggian muka/paras air laut di lokasi Pelabuhan Perikanan untukkepentingan operasi keluar dan masuknya kapal. Informasi tentang kedalaman batimetri dankondisi dasar perairan lokasi tidak disediakan pada aplikasi iniABSTRACTTide is a very important parameter for navigation in ports, the Center for Marine Research,Marine & Coastal Data Laboratory (MCDL) makes tide predictions in 39 ports throughout Indonesia.This study aims to produce an Android-based tidal prediction information system using the Javaprogramming language, Google Maps Api as its basemap and tidal prediction data generated byMCDL. Information displayed in graphical form and data tables for the next 14 days (2 weeks), withhourly temporal resolution with updated information per 14 days. In the tide prediction androidapplication (tides) consists of 4 menus namely Port, Glossary, About, Disclaimer. The Port menudisplays information on the name of the fishing port. The Glossary menu contains tidal term glossaryinformation. The About menu contains application owner information that aims for users to interactwith the application chooser. The Disclaimer Menu contains information that this tidal estimatedinformation is used as a reference (reference) for sea level / sea level at the Fishery Port location forthe purpose of operating in and out of ships. Information about the bathymetry depth and thebottom waters of the location is not provided in this application.

Abstract

Tadulako University is the largest tertiary institution in Central Sulawesi and every year new students are registered to Tadulako University comes from inside and outside Central Sulawesi Province. Prospective students from various regions certainly many are looking for information on the campus area, especially in the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tadulako through existing media. Seeing this, the authors conducted a research aiming to make a digital mapping of the Tadulako University Faculty of Engineering based on the Geographic Information System (GIS) application using the website, and at the same time giving directions to the location of the room using 360-degree photos and how to utilize the Tadulako University Faculty of Engineering Mapping for determine the location on the website. The method used is to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the results of the study that the author found is using the HyperText Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and JavaScript and retrieve data from 360 degrees as many as 245 photo locations in each Department of Engineering at the University of Tadulako with 1-time taking photos requires 40 times the taking of 360-degree objects with a distance between one room with another so that it connects the existing mapping at the Department of Engineering, Tadulako University using the website.

Abstract

Abstract The main problem of this study was “Is it effective to teach listening by using Information Transfer Diagram Activity to the Seventh Grade Students of the State Junir High School 43 of Palembang?” The objective of the study was to find out whether or not it was effective to to teach listening by using Information Transfer Diagram Activity to the Seventh Grade Students of the State Junir High School 43 of Palembang. The method of the research used in this study was pre-experimental method with pre-test-post-test one group design. Data were analyzed by using matched t-test formula. The population of this study to teach listening by using Information Transfer Diagram Activity to the Seventh Grade Students of the State Junir High School 43 of Palembang in the academic year 2016/2017 with the total 309 students. The sample investigated was 34 students of class VII.2. The sample was taken by using convenience non random sampling. Based on the result of the data analysis, it was found that to teach listening by using Information Transfer Diagram Activity to the Seventh Grade Students of the State Junir High School 43 of Palembang was effective. The findings of this study showed that the average score in the pre-test was 5.38, the highest score was 7.75 and the lowest score was 3.0 and the average score in the post-test was 7.0, the highest score was 8.75 and the lowest score was 4.75. The result of matched t-test was 8.53 which were higher than critical value (1.692). It means that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Keywords: Teaching, listening, information transfer diagram activity.

Abstract

Abstract: Education Management Information System (EMIS) at MAN 5 Sleman is a one-door online madrasah data collection but in reality there are still often problems such as the National Student Registration Number (NISN) is not appropriate, NISN is not found and there is student data that is not found / lost in the application EMIS. This has resulted in its own constraints in managing EMIS data at MAN 5 Sleman. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of EMIS in MAN 5 Sleman and the effect on the success of students taking the National Computer Based Test (UNBK). The benefit of this research is that the wider community knows that MAN 5 Sleman in data management has used an online system called EMIS, so that data that is at MAN 5 Sleman can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods, while the data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation with the data validity test by means of triangulation

Abstract

The second part of the study is to validate the developed information system in a selected farming area. For the primary data, a farm survey is conducted in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Province. The sixty (60) household farms in 6 (six) districts are investigated which were grouped into animal-based and tractor-based farms. Based on the farms survey, the results described that the total annual water surplus in the study area is 792 mm that reached from November to April and water deficit is 355 mm from May to October. There is also surplus situation of number of animal-drawn and local equipment for land preparation in each district, but defieciency in number of power tiller and it's matching tillage equipment. The sensitivity analysis indicated those yield and crop proce are the most significant factor in determining the net return of the crop production system.

Abstract

This study was undertaken to develop a computer program package for identifying a farming system that was focused in the water availability analysis, the optimizing of agricultural power and selected equipment and the senditivity analysis. The computer programs for all models were developed and written in FoxBASE command language. Three databases were obtained from the farm survey i.e.; climate, crop and power. All these databases can be appended, edited, deleted or displayed by the users through a menu of database mahagement system (DBMS). They were used to evaluate the utility of the computer programs as input data. The infromation system calculates the amoun of monthly water surplus and deficit, the optimum number of agricultural power (animal or power tiller) and its matching implement required and also change in the net return of crop production system due to the change of input variables such as crop price, yield, and production material cost. The system output for each analysis can be presented in three options by screen, printer and file that can be accessed to another language.

Abstract

The increasing human population and income per capita in Indonesia have many impacts to the demand of food, not only staple food but also the secondary food too, including meat and beef demand. Based on data from Central Statistics Bureau of 1995–2016, beef demand in Indonesia has been increasing. This condition must be anticipated by preparing the supply, especially the availability of beef in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta province. In Yogyakarta city, one of the regencies of DIY, the demand rate grows by 3.2%/year, higher than the supply growth rate by 2.08 %/year.  This gap needs to be thought through the case of scarcity of beef on the market. This study aimed to identify the potential of supply in five parameters i.e.: beef population, the availability of semen for artificial insemination (IB), the availability of livestock feed plants (HMT), the number of cows that enter DIY, and the number of cows that exit from DIY. A model Spatial Geographic Information Systems (SGIS) has been used in this study. The study revealed the most potential area for the development of beef agribusiness, based on the availability side, was Gunung Kidul Regency, and the less potential was Yogyakarta municipality.

Abstract

This research aims at examining the effect of Ease, Affect, Flexibility and Accessibility of information technology on utilizing virtual learning environment at Universitas Terbuka. The population of the research consists students of Bidikmisi scholarship in Non Basic Education program of Accounting that include of 145 respondents. The sampling method is purposive sampling with 141 eligible samples. The questionnaires are measured with Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis that covers descriptive statistics, reliability test and validity test. Classical Assumption Test which includes multcollinearity test is later conducted. Hypothesis testing and discussion are presented at the end. Result of research with t test or partially indicate that, variable of ease of use have positive relation and have significant influence to interest of utilization of virtual learning environment, t test result for accessibility variable have positive relation and no significant effect to interest of utilization of virtual learning environment. The result of the research on the affect variable has a positive relationship and has a significant effect on the interest of utilizing the virtual learning environment. While the flexibility variable shows have a negative relationship and no significant effect on the interest of utilization of virtual learning environment.
