Abstract

The inability of the channel capacity to accommodate surface runoff can cause flooding. The Pangkung Lebak Muding channel, which is part of the Tukad Mati watershed, still experienced flooding from 2009 to 2019. Evaluation of flood points in the Pangkung Lebak Muding channel was carried out by comparing the capacity of the existing channel with the design discharge, then determining the capacity of the new channel. Initial channel mapping using Google Earth and GIS applications. The evaluation results are remapped to compare and display differences in flood points. The identification results show that there are 9 flood points for a 2 year return period and 10 points for a 5 to 10 year return period in secondary and tertiary canals. While in the primary channel there are 2 flood points for all return times. The solution to evaluating the capacity of this channel is dredging to a depth of 0.46 m for the secondary and tertiary channels and 1 m for the primary channel. The evaluation results show that all secondary and tertiary channels are not flooded in all return periods. ABSTRAK Ketidakmampuan kapasitas saluran untuk menampung limpasan permukaan dapat menyebabkan banjir. Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Kecamatan Luak is a government agency that organizes vocational education. Every semester SMK Negeri 1 Luak Regency does data processing of student scores, but in processing student grades they still use the manual system, namely by collecting assignment scores, test scores, mid-semester test scores and end-semester test scores. The exam is then processed by the subject teacher, then the score is submitted to the administrative staff, after that the administrative staff submits all student scores to the homeroom teacher to be entered into leger paper which is then processed into report cards. This is considered less effective, causing a lot of time and energy needed in the process of processing student grades. Facilitate the process of processing student scores to become e-reports at SMK Negeri 1 Luak District. With the information system for processing student grades at SMK Negeri 1 Luak District, it helps process student grades into report cards and ledgers easily, quickly and precisely. In addition, in a pandemic situation, the information system processing student grades data is very helpful for submitting semester report cards to students and their parents in order to avoid crowds to prevent transmission of the Covid-19 virus. This application is designed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, in developing the SDLC the author uses the waterfall method in designing information systems.

Abstract

One of the most feared infectious diseases today is COVID-19. The transmission of this disease is quite fast. Patients also sometimes do not have the same symptoms. Overcoming the spread of the pandemic has been widely carried out throughout the world. Apart from the medical method, there are also many other methods, including computerization. Data mining is a discipline that can project data into new knowledge. One of the main functions of data mining is classification. Decision tree is one of the best models to solve classification problems. The number of data attributes can affect the performance of an algorithm. This study uses information gain to select the attribute features of the Covid-19 surveillance dataset. This study proves that there is an increase in the accuracy of the decision tree algorithm by adding information gain feature selection. Previously, the decision tree only had an accuracy rate of 65% for the classification of the Covid-19 surveillance dataset. After pre-processing using information gain, the accuracy rate increased to 75%.

Abstract

Relevance of the article - security has always been one of the priority issues of state policy. Considering that the defence forces are an inseparable part of state security, studying their information security is essential. The feasibility of this study is confirmed by the fact that in the current conditions of development of the information society, the information technology of the Ukrainian defence forces must adapt to the current challenges and threats, to ensure proper protection of information of strategic importance to the state and collected, consolidated and stored by the defence forces. This article aims to identify problems of information security of defense forces in Ukraine to find ways of their elimination. Formal logical, systemic structural, comparative and legal methods were used to conduct the research. It is stated that by dividing the information space and cyber space, the legislator has laid down legal regulation of protection of the state's information space. It is understood that the Lithuanian and Latvian forces for combating threats to the information space were consolidated within the structure of the Ministry of Defence. Consequently, the authorities argue that the system of entities responsible for protecting the information space needs to be optimized, creating conditions for state-private cooperation in this area, as in the case of Germany, and providing these entities with qualified employees. The results obtained are important for research, law-making and law enforcement activities.
