Abstract

This study describes the student's thought process in constructing evidence that begins with a stimulus. The stimulus is then entered into the sensory register through the senses of sight and hearing. The attention that occurs is focused on the complete problem as indicated by the emergence of perceptions about stimuli following the information given, namely solving the problem by mathematical induction. In short-term memory, the construction of proofs by mathematical induction begins in retrieving the concepts of mathematical induction principles. The research subjects were six students of Tadris Mathematics; namely, two people with high abilities or the upper group, two people with low skills or the lower group, and two people with medium abilities or the middle group. The retrieval process in students belonging to the upper group runs smoothly. In the long-term memory of the issues of this group, the knowledge needed by working memory is stored. Proof of truth by mathematical induction is interpreted correctly, proving the truth for n=1 to n=k+1. The assumption of truth for n=k is the basis for establishing the truth for n=k+1 by upper group subjects. This is different from what happened to the topics of the middle and lower groups. The assumption of truth for the written value of n=k is not involved in proving the truth for n=k+1. The encoding process that occurs in students is in the form of strengthening some concepts that have been retrieved from long-term memory.

Abstract

Today, due to the rapidly increasing world population and urbanization, the amount of water is increasing exponentially in areas such as drinking, irrigation, energy, industry, etc. There is a great increase in the use of water in agriculture, especially due to the food needs of human beings. For this reason, human beings need water; They obtain water almost everywhere from above ground (springs, dams, ponds) and underground (drilling wells) water sources. Usage of groundwater is quite common in the plains, where surface water resources are insufficient. This situation; While increasing the use of pesticides and fertilizers for agricultural purposes due to irrigation, it also creates the risk of contamination of groundwater. In this study; contamination potential of groundwater in Erzin Plain was determined using Geography Information System (GIS)-based DRASTIC model. Seasonal and annual field sensitivity levels were determined by integrating current land use into this model. Accordingly, in the dry seasons of August-2006, November-2006, while the Mediterranean coast has high EC values in the vicinity of the Mediterranean coast, the area around the resort sites and the settlement area, the mountainous areas, the north of the plain and the west of Gokdere have low EC values. It has the lowest EC values by decreasing towards the north and northeast and other parts of the plain. In the study area; Although NO3 concentration varies seasonally, it is especially high in citrus growing segments with high permeability. On this change; Factors such as rainfall recharge, evaporation effect in the dry period, irrigation water recharge with the effect of land use, and the depth of groundwater depending on topography played an important role.

Abstract

Forecasting systems play an important role in business and economics. In the planning of drug production at PT. Pratapa Nirmala is still semi-computerized, which is limited to recording using the Microsoft Excel program and has not used definite methods or tools, thus allowing for human errors and significant differences between forecasting and actual sales which will affect stock out and over-stock drug supplies. Forecasting is a calculation analysis technique that is carried out with qualitative and quantitative approaches to predict future events using data from the past. The method used is observation, interview, and research, and the type of research used is quantitative and qualitative with descriptive analysis. This system uses an object-oriented design method with UML (Unified Modeling Language). The programming language used is the PHP programming language with MySQL database and the forecasting method used is Single Exponential Smoothing by considering the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value. After the calculation, obtained with an alpha value of 0.9, where the value of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error generated is 16%. and the form of the forecasting equation model is Ft = Ft-1 + a (At-1 – Ft-1). So this forecast is feasible and can be applied.

Abstract

This Covid-19 began to infect almost all countries in early 2020, including in Indonesia, Covid-19 spread widely throughout the world and was declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). In the current era of Big Data, large amounts of data have been generated and collected from a variety of rich data sources. Big Data is useful information and valuable knowledge. In this study, the method that will be used for data analysis is the K-Means algorithm with orange tools as a tool to display the results of data classification. One of the information that can be generated is Sentiment Analysis. The purpose of this research was to determining the information such as public sentiment on social media towards government policies in handling COVID-19. In this research, 2000 tweets were used. The keyword used related to government policies are sourced from several online media. The tools used to analyze this twitter data is using Orange Application. The selected keywords are covid19, lockdown, PSBB, and isolation. This keyword is used as a reference to retrieve tweet data from twitter. From each of these keywords, a sentiment classification process will be carried out automatically so that data or tweets are obtained and grouped into positive, negative and neutral sentiment classes. From the result of research conducted, public sentiment on social media towards government policies in handling this virus outbreak tends to be positive.

Abstract

As a company that is operating in the telecommunication sector, XYZ must ensure that they have adequate capabilities to protect their company’s and customers’ sensitive data. Although various information security systems and processes are already in place, human resources still are the weakest link in cyber security. The new normal of Working From Home makes the threat even larger. Basically, Information Security Awareness (ISA) denotes whether or not users are aware of information security objectives. Using a phishing scenario, this study examined the level of ISA of XYZ employees and how ISA training might improve their awareness level. The simulation outcomes were compared to the results before and after they received ISA training on a percentage scale. The results showed a positive increase between before and after being given training. Employees who clicked on phishing URLs before training reached 31% reduced to 12% after training. Meanwhile, employees affected by phishing decreased from 24% to 4%. The study also revealed discovered that based on the nature of the job, employees who work at directorates who work more on non-technical matters have lower awareness when compared to employees who work at directorates who work more on technical work.
