Abstract

This study aims to examine the principal's strategy in shaping students' character based on NU values at MA NU Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative case study approach, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documents. After the data is collected, it is analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that the strategies implemented by the principal can be analyzed using Henry Mintzberg's 5P theory (Plan, Pattern, Position, Perspective, and Ploy). The approach is as follows: 1) Plan: the principal designs character programs based on NU values, such as tahlilan, istighotsah, and strengthening Aswaja. 2) Pattern: there is consistency in the implementation of routine religious activities that shape students' religious behavior patterns. 3) Position: The school positions itself as an educational institution based on Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah an-Nahdliyah. 4) Perspective: NU values become a perspective that is internalized in the school culture and daily educational practices. 5) Ploy: Strategies are used to overcome the challenges of instilling religious values in the digital age. With these strategies in place, the principal plays a significant role in shaping the students' character holistically based on Islamic values that are rahmatan lil'alamin.

Abstract

This study examines the hadith on honey as medicine through the perspective of Hadith Studies (Ilmu Hadis), focusing on takhrīj, chain (sanad) analysis, and textual (matan) criticism. Although the hadith on honey is frequently discussed in the context of prophetic medicine, its analysis from a strict hadith methodological framework remains limited. This research aims to assess the authenticity of the hadith, analyze the narrators’ network, and explore its relevance within contemporary hadith discourse. Employing qualitative library research, primary data were obtained from canonical hadith collections, particularly Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, while secondary data were drawn from works of jarḥ wa ta‘dīl, hadith commentaries, and recent academic journals. The findings reveal that the hadith is classified as ṣaḥīḥ li dhātih, with a continuous chain and reliable transmitters. The matn analysis confirms its coherence with Qur’anic principles and rational considerations. This study emphasizes the importance of grounding thematic hadith studies in rigorous hadith methodology.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to systematically examine the role of interactive technologies in facilitating enjoyable learning experiences within digital mathematics classrooms. The primary goal is to address the global barriers to mathematics education, specifically the widespread issues of low student engagement and high levels of math anxiety, by identifying effective digital interventions. Methods: The study was conducted using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology. The researcher analyzed 50 selected peer-reviewed articles to explore the integration of dynamic software, educational games, and creative pedagogical strategies. The analysis focused on how these digital tools influence the learning environment and student interaction in a digital context. Results: Key findings indicate that interactive technologies act as essential catalysts in enhancing intrinsic motivation by fulfilling students' needs for autonomy, competence, and connectedness. Furthermore, these tools facilitate the visualization of abstract mathematical concepts, making them more accessible. The data shows that learning outcomes improve significantly when elements of fun are purposefully integrated with appropriate digital tools, rather than using technology as a mere substitute for traditional methods.

Abstract

Village head leadership plays a crucial role in improving the work discipline of village officials to support effective public services. However, preliminary observations in Bijaepunu Village indicate that several village officials still demonstrate low discipline, particularly in attendance, compliance with work regulations, and responsibility in completing tasks. This study aims to describe the leadership strategies of the village head in improving the work discipline of village officials in Bijaepunu Village, Mollo Utara District. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of the village head and village officials. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the village head’s leadership strategies include setting vision and mission, direct supervision of attendance and task performance, gradual decision-making through warnings and sanctions, and providing motivation through meetings and personal approaches. These strategies positively impacted the work discipline of some village officials, although consistency remains an issue for others. Therefore, village head leadership strategies play an important role in fostering work discipline and enhancing public service quality.

Abstract

The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in Indonesia is deeply rooted in the nation’s historical, ideological, and socio-educational dynamics. Over time, the PAI curriculum has shifted from a normative-doctrinal model to a more applicative, contextual, and adaptive framework in response to global challenges such as globalization, radicalism, and digitalization. This study addresses two main questions: how has the historical trajectory of the PAI curriculum evolved, and what are its current challenges and future directions? Employing a descriptive qualitative method through library research, this study analyzes historical documents, educational policies, and academic literature. The findings reveal significant curriculum transformations, yet also persistent gaps in implementation, including the dominance of lecture-based teaching, disparities in educational resources, and limited integration of religious moderation and digital literacy. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need to reconstruct the PAI curriculum to integrate Islamic values with 21st-century competencies, enhance teacher capacity, and allow school-level autonomy for more contextual and inclusive religious education.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in mathematics education has encouraged a shift in learning from a purely cognitive emphasis to an approach that also considers students' emotional well-being. The mindful learning approach emphasizes awareness of the learning process, self-regulation, positive emotional engagement, and meaningful learning experiences. This article aims to systematically review the results of research on the use of digital platforms and applications in supporting mindful learning and students' emotional well-being in mathematics learning. This study uses a systematic literature review method by analyzing reputable international journal articles published between 2017 and 2025. The results of the study show that the use of digital technology in mathematics learning contributes to increased learning motivation, strengthened self-regulation, reduced mathematics anxiety, and the development of more reflective and meaningful learning experiences. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative synthesis of digital technology, mindful learning, and emotional well-being in the context of mathematics education, which has rarely been discussed comprehensively in systematic literature review studies. These findings emphasize the importance of designing technology-based mathematics learning that consciously integrates the principles of mindful learning to support students' emotional well-being.

Abstract

Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT) offer a model of education based on Islamic values, integrating the national curriculum with a unique Islamic curriculum that reflects the school's vision and mission of developing a rabbani generation. In practice, they not only provide general knowledge but also instill Islamic values in every subject as part of the holistic and integrated development of students' personalities. Learning methods optimize the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains through their learning methods. However, various challenges arise in its implementation, such as limited teacher numbers due to high teacher mobility, varying teacher abilities, and difficulties in aligning the general curriculum with the school's unique curriculum, specifically the integration of Islamic values in an applicable and contextual manner. These conditions can directly impact the quality of the learning process and outcomes if not managed effectively. Therefore, effective and well-planned learning management is crucial to improving student learning outcomes and optimally achieving the school's educational vision and mission. This study aims to analyze learning management strategies in an effort to develop school quality at Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT).
